At this point in my life, I had accrued a countless list of experiences with salespeople; all of which have not been pleasant, memorable, or overall positive. Thankfully, as it pertains to Cawood, it has easily been all three of the formerly named adjectives. I recently purchased a 2011 Nissan Versa, and the process as a whole was easily the most effortless exchange Ive had in a great while. Shannon Torres navigated the majority of the sale, being a perfect combination of accommodation, cheerfulness, availability, and efficiency. From the moment I began my inquiry on the vehicle, she provided me with the utmost service: allowing me a communication style that fit my needs, scheduling a test drive and providing details on the car as I asked (while being humble and motivated enough to admit when she didnt know the minuscule details and acquire said information as swiftly as possible), adjusting pricing as I could properly afford, and generally being present in every moment of the sale without breathing down my neck or making me feel insecure or unsure about my decision. She was upfront, humorous, approachable, and above all a very valuable resource during a process that may have otherwise been stressful and daunting. Matt concluded the sale with the formalities of paperwork, and in doing so was highly knowledgeable, reassuring and informed with his role in the chain. He was upfront about every financial and logistical detail I needed, from loan duration to the mechanical facts of my cars operation. I am entirely pleased with my time at Cawood, and would not hesitate or question recommending business in your direction. Used car salesfolk get pretty bad reputations in media and society, but I cannot disagree more with the stereotype. Thank you, Cawoods Sales Team. 10/10 will be returning when applicable!

Pleasantly surprised. First, We had been to a ton of dealerships and had had just about enough. Tired of looking. Tired of shady dealers. We were looking for a great deal on a great car and not "giving away" our trade- in to get it! Period. Searched Car Gurus, searched CarFax, made my list. Checked it twice. Next day, called CAWOOD on a preowned Jeep to check availability. Nicole Shattuck answered the phone and confirmed it was still there. She gave us some info and invited us out to take a look. After driving over an hour to the dealership, we were very happy to see that the car was parked in front of the office and ready to go. As soon as we parked Nicole came right out. Instantly, we liked her. Nicole has a relaxed and casual attitude that set the tone for a great experience. We felt like she wanted US to be happy - NOT the other way round- After a test drive and a good once over, (we got a warrenty) the decision was made. Long story short, She took care of EVERYTHING. Nicole went over ALL the numbers (no "funny figures" no funny business.) She patiently answered ALL of our questions easlily and honestly. No muss, no fuss. Simple. Thanks to Nicole, we dont feel ripped off. I got a great deal on a great vehicle with a great trade in. Thanks Nicole!

I had been looking for my first car for about a month, hoping to come across a nice one with a good history that I wouldnt have to worry about for at least a few years. I saw their listing for a 2008 Honda Civic EX that had a very clean history with only one owner and it was even mostly serviced at this dealership. I called the dealership and started working with one of their salespersons, Fred, on the process Id have to go through at this particular dealership to see myself driving off the lot in this car. Fred worked with me and answered any questions I had and even prepared the paperwork prior to my visit, since I was almost an hour away. Even though I wasnt certain prior to the visit if I wanted the car, once I saw it and drove it I loved it and it made it really smooth and painless to complete the deal since all of the paperwork was prepared. It was well worth the hour drive to Port Huron to work with him and finally drive home with a car. Various friends, family, and coworkers have already praised how nice of a car it is and how lucky I was to have such a painless experience while buying my first car. The car has been running great and I dont see that changing anytime soon. Thanks again, Fred!

Adding more to my previous review below. I just bought a car from Jeremy and hands down the best dealership experience Ive ever had and the first time walking away with a new purchase feeling like I got a great deal. You really get the vip treatment here. Most of the process was done over the phone or text, letting me keep more of my precious time to spend with my family. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he nailed it. Thanks! Old review: Ive never gone out of my way to go to a dealer for service before, common sense would tell you its too expensive. Im a believer in Cawood, the service is fantastic, and the prices for the work I had done were very reasonable. They even gave me a ride to work so I could drop off my car without dragging the whole family out of the house that early to pick me up. Great experience with both the service and body shop.

Cawoods auto gave me the best experience possible buying my very first vehicle. This is a HUGE decision to make when first starting a career and I felt that they all truly had my best interest in mind when making this deal. I am currently living in Grand Rapids and drove all the way to Port Huron because I know how well every car there is maintained. I was warmly welcomed by every dealer there. My experience was exceptional having Jeremy Dodder as my dealer. He was extremely friendly and made buying a car seem like a breeze. Jeremy was very good about listening to what budget I had to work with and really made me feel great about buying my new car. I was so excited and didnt leave feeling nervous about the deal at all. Cawoods is a phenomenal auto dealership to buy from. Highly recommend buying your next vehicle from there.

Love, love, Cawood Honda. Once you experience the great people here you will never go anywhere else. I must call attention to 3 incredible people. Jeremy Dodder, who has become, in the past 7 years, our friend and family. He is exceptional in his Honda expertise and making sure he has the perfect vehicle for us. With great concern on meeting features and budget. Matt in finance is also the best. Again making sure we stay on budget bringing with it a great personality and engaging smile. Ted Barrett, the General Manager at Cawood, is just the most incredible person, friend and family. Always smiling and always makes the time to visit. Today I picked up my Jeep Liberty from Cawood in port huron michigan. I had the front bumper repaired from an accident late the previous week. I was shocked to see scratches that were on the opposite side of the damage from my front bumper all the way down to the rear end! I also had a crack in one of my rear taillight. This was NOT the condition of the vehicle when I left it! I feel they are responsible for these VERY visible scratches! I am extremely upset with the service and will be sure to tell all of the poor service they have given me. If these scratches are not fixed by them, (which they clearly caused) I will defiantly file a suit. This is ridiculous and no one should have to go through this!
