Took my vehicle in they charge me a diagnostic fee, my battery wasnt working. Then find out it was the battery terminals. Well my passenger side window (electric) worked before it was brought in. Now i have it back and it doesnt work. I call to explain this and i am told they will charge me another diagnostic fee. Hmm... sorry that does not sound right to me. They said they never touched anything inside my vehicle. Yet my heat dials were turned off, switches were moved. Yeah i dont think so. Ill never go to them again. Plus i was supposed to have gotten a call before they flushed the engine and that never happened aswell. They just did it. I told myself ill never go there, and i had to due to circumstances i was in. And yup, proved me correct. HORRIBLE. Now Im supposed to deal with my window not working. Thanks guys for nothing. And now my vehicle is having the same exact problem that they were supposed to fix. And want to charge me to fix the issue. Yeah give another diagnostic for free, you were supposed to look at all possible problems as i was promised yet tell my fiancé you didnt. Dave got loud with my fiancé over the phone, refused to answer asked questions. And decided to compare a vehicle to a lightbulb. Refused to understand that the vehicle is not drivable. Seriously. Your envelope states "done right. Period. Or well fix it for free" but you dont want to honor that. The better business bureau has been contacted. This place does not stand behind their work. I advise anyone go to another shop, with much more knowledgeable people working there, and that are friendly. I will never return. And they LIE to the better business bureau ontop of that. Anyone that goes here please understand the6 are lying and scamming you. Our own workers at DHS refuse to go to this shop.

When I first met the owner David Drojkowski he seemed like an honest business man with integrity,we made an agreement together then he went back on his word,I am appauled at the actions of this individual,If you are not going to keep your word then dont say you are,this shop has exhisted for some 30 years but as I talked with others in the area they told me they also got the same Impression about David,he can change his mind and turn on you if its to his advantage and that is something you just dont do in a small town,David admitted to me that some people dont like him,he openly joked about a customer that had to wait an extra day to pick up his car just because he requested it soon as possible due to family transport needs,Dave said to me.. Im a real prick arent I, I was able to report Davids actions to Tuffy operations manager Bridgette Newman, Davids response to me was nobody tells him how to run his business,he claimed he did not even know Bridgette, the office assistant Shane Fasbender was very unusual as he gets personal with the customers and tells dirty jokes,but even more peculiar is he openly bragged to me about being convicted of a fellony involving a firearm and still in posession of a firearm collection and using cocaine during his time in college, what we say to others is always noted and often repeated,who we are is often defined by our actions,good or bad

Let me tell YOU Mr. Ellerthorpe it is not by accident that we have been in business for 31 years it has come through many years of hard work and dedication-This is something we at Tuffy Auto Service Center are very proud of -we realize you would not know a thing about longevity at a job or running a business or even living in the same state-since you go from job to job and move from place to place and state to state-what are you hiding or running from? And dont even talk about firearms Jack lets hope you have a legitimate business setup for your gun show business and are reporting and paying taxes on your profits. Lastly why you keep bothering to dig up previous incidents that you think you heard or overheard or happened in your own mind and continue to repost these things is beyond belief. I took my 2001 Hyundai Elantra to my local Tuffy muffler yesterday. I was charged $65 for a 10 minute diagnostic,which revealed I needed an intake manifold gasket and cover. In addition, the mechanic suggested I replace the spark plugs and wires. He returned to me with an estimate of $780 some odd dollars for the job in its entirety,which took me completely off guard. I refused the work and priced the parts (including a new Throttle Position Sensor) from OReillys auto parts at $129.75 AFTER taxes.which means Tuffy was charging me $650 per hour for a 1 hour job!!! Unbelievable that these CROOKS are able to get away with gouging customers so blatantly! Incidentally, I found a mechanic on Craigslist that would do the job,parts included for $180.00. Avoid these money grubbing shysters at ALL costs!

After they got it up on the rack and told me I needed brakes, rotors, a BRAKE LINE FLUSH to remove the brake fluid and replace it , back brakes adjusted and a bad wheel bearing ..... they told me I need to leave it they would drive me home ... all to the tune of $780+. I requested my car back to drive home 2.5 miles and they told me it was dangerous. I went to another shop I trusted in West Branch, MI...TIMMY TIRE. I drove 160 miles just because I know they are honest. No brakes, or rotors, needed. Laughed their butts off at the brake line flush. I did need the front wheel bearing replaced. Tuffy quote part $244. Labor $103. Paid at Timmy tire Part $178.54 Labor $59.95 What do you think? Senior Citizen and Female

Went to get a quote for a muffler and that turned out to be $600+ told them no and then they couldnt get my car started. Stated my battery was junk and had to wait for them to charge it. The serpentine belt broke in that process and to get that fixed along with the a/c compressor was another $1500+ to get that fixed. Called AAA to tow it back to my house. Terrible customer service, wouldnt give me any written estimates for what they quoted. pulled in there at 11:30am and the tow truck arrived at 2:30pm. Lost 3 hours of work. Felt sorry for all the other people there because they were older and I feel like they were being taken advantage of. They are slow and not people friendly.

I VISITED THIS SHOP ON SATURDAY (12/10/2016) FOR EXHAUST/MUFFLER RELATED NOISE. THE OWNER AND TECHNICIAN PREPARED VERY FAIR AND HONEST ESTIMATE OF $82.00 AND REPLACED THE DAMAGED PART OF EXHAUST. AFTER $10.00 OF REBATE, I JUST PAID $72.00. THE OWNER IS VERY HONEST PERSON AND THE TECHNICIAN SHOWED ME TYPE OF DAMAGE AND NEEDED REPAIR WITH CHEAPEST ALTERNATIVE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TUFFY AUTO CENTER ( 32 YEARS IN BUSINESS). IT WAS MY VERY PLEASANT EXPEREINCE AND HAPPY TO RECOMMEND OTHERS TO GIVE THEM BUSINESS.
