I just took my Xterra to General Auto Repair today for the first time. They were so helpful and by far the most honest mechanics I have encountered since having my 12 year old faithful companion. Firestone drained me of my savings account over a year ago just so I could pass inspection with a lot of unnecessary costs. Jeff was great and fixed the problem rather than making me replace anything. I will never go anywhere else while living in this area. So very thankful.

I have owned a variety of cars (and pickups) for over seventy-five years. Yet I have never experienced such great and thoughtful service as I have received for the last fifteen years or so at General Auto Repair on US-25 in Mountain Home. I just bring in my 2000 Grand Marquis (with 125,000 miles) and they keep it running like new. I do not expect to have to buy another car. I love this one and General Auto will keep it running for me. On vacation and our car broke down. We lost a day and a half and were way over charged! While my car works and we made it home, the out of state tags made the price of the repair almost twice the price. Not nice!
