Wish I could give zero stars. Just a warning, do not use Mastercraft heating, cooling and plumbing Inc for anything!!!! They sent a man out his truck said Mastercraft and Daniels plumbing and he tried to scam us. He tried to convince me that we needed a new furnace and air conditioner in order to sell our home. We called for a city cert (we live in Dearborn so it is required for home sales) and he left me with telling me I needed to call to schedule for a new one of both costing 5150.00. I called to get a second opinion and ran through what I was told about the furnace and air conditioner, the second company I talked to asked me what company and immediately told me not to stress because he would bet me money it was a scam (he hears this consistently from Mastercraft) . The second company came out, checked it out did Co readings and gave us our city cert, there was ZERO issue with our equipment. Shame on mastercraft.

Quality of work very good. Business practices, not so good. They work at their convenience. I got heavily pressured to change my appointment time to an earlier time one beautiful spring afternoon. I was able to rearrange my schedule. Turns out Mastercraft doesnt like to pay their people if they dont have work. They had a cancellation and moved me up. I got this out of the service guy. Not nice for their people and not putting the customer first. Also - they will install many brands, but they arent necessarily a gold star installer for the brand. Meaning if you have an issue the brand isnt going to go out of its way to help you. Seek a company that is on the preferred list of installers for the brand you decide to go with. P.S. Avoid Trane - it is misspelled and should be spelled Train as it is as loud as one.

THE WORST EVER!!!!! If your a hard working individual who cant miss alot of work for unexpected issues DONOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company!!!! I talked to Michael who said he would come out to look at my unit this afternoon . He never gave me a time and said he would call me an hour before headed my way. Time rolls on . I didnt hear from him and called him to see if he could give me a timeframe. He knew I was leaving early from work and was bringing work home. I tell him at 3:00 i was gonna head on home and he said he would be coming shortly. HE NEVER SHOWED up and then decided not to call or answer his phone. !!!! Who does this?????? I will never ever recommend this company to anyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could give zero stars too, Ashley. Bad business... Bob came to my moms house because her furnace went out. He told her it could not be fixed until after the Christmas weekend, because he could not get the part to fix it until then. He quoted her $700+. My brother, who is a plumber, called his heating and cooling friend. They went to get the part which costs $130. The furnace was fixed within an hour or two. So, Bob was going to rob my mom blind for Christmas and let her freeze over the holiday weekend; and that, more than anything made me call and give them a piece of my mind and write this review. IM SPREADING THE WORD!

Very poor customer service. My furnace went bad around 4:00 PM on Sunday. I called the emergency line 3 times and left them a message. Finally I got a call back around 10:00 PM. Aside from the delay, I had bad experience with their practice in not honoring the warranty. First they said the warranty is for parts only and does not cover labor. After I show Scott (the service man) that the warranty is valid for 5 years on labor too, he called the office and waved the labor part but he said that I still have to pay $85 for service call. Just watch out for their business practice if you ever need them.

We had 40 year old ductwork that had deteriorated underneath a concrete slab. Mastercraft was one of the few companies that was willing to take on the work. Even after the scope of the project had to change after the damage under the slab was found to be much worse than anticipated, Mastercraft worked with us to keep costs as low as possible and still finish in a timely manner. All of their employees were polite and professional and did their best to minimize the disruption and mess. I would highly recommend Mastercraft to anyone for their heating needs.

had them out 3 times this winter for the heater, and now Im having to call them twice for the air to be fixed. seems like nothing with them can be fixed the first time. equaling me loosing time at work to wait for repair people. and now today I come to find out the repair that they said they did in the winter was never done and the furnace fumes were coming inside all along, or mention to me that the chimney liner is not up to code, DTE came and told me that

Mastercraft sent out a technician to work on my commercial building and was in & out in less than an hour. They were efficient, arrived when they said they would and I couldnt be happier. Their price for service was extremely reasonable and their tech was very personable just to top it off. I will continue to recommend Mastercraft to all of my family & friends. 5 stars all the way!

I spoke with three different reps at the office today before one of them would ask the person giving me a quote to call me, I think his name was Justin. I told him where the key was near the side door, and he said he couldnt find it without enough time to even walk up the driveway.

Worse customer service ever. Called at 3:00 to report furnace out (which has needed service every year we have had it) and was told all the guys had gone home for the day and couldnt come until tomorrow). We will be calling another company to replace this lemon!!
