If I could give a -1 star I would! Worst customer service experience of my life! The manager Calvin is an a** . Called and talked to someone about hitches and wiring, then went to this location talked to a female employee, forgot to ask one question so I went back In and she was busy so I spoke to Calvin. All three employees (call taker, female employee and Calvin) insured me the wiring would be in a box on the back of my car by the hitch. I was told by Calvin to schedule it online so I got the $10 discount. I did this that same day and made an appointment for the following week Monday. That Monday comes and I called to verify the parts were in before I dropped off my vehicle, I was told they were. I dropped off vehicle with Calvin and a few hours later got a call from him stating the parts werent in. After a long conversation he agreed to give me a whopping discount of $20 for this inconvenience. I picked up my vehicle with no hitch and reschedule for the following Monday (today). I called this morning to make sure parts were in and was told "they should be". Went in and dropped vehicle off with Calvin, I asked him to verify parts were there and he did so with an annoyed attitude. He never called to tell me the vehicle was done, so I called and asked if it was done and was told "I think so" by an employee. Went up there and my vehicle was done, but the wiring was not at all what I was told it would be. There is no box on the back with the plug inside. The wiring is in my trunk area, so the wires will be smashed in the hatch door every time I need to use them. I talked to the employee there who claimed to be the assistant manager and he said this is how they always do them and I should have been told this. I explained to him 3 people told me it would be a box mounted on the bumper area;the call taker, female employee and Calvin. He then called Calvin and put him on speaker phone. Calvin told me that I should have verified this morning that I wanted the box and wires mounted on outside. I told him I verified with three people including him before I set this all up. He then said I shouldnt have listened to the female employee because she is new. I asked how I was suppose to know this and he just got loud and talked over me saying " when you go to hospital you talk to the doctor not the nurses, you should have talked to the doctor here, thats me". Ummm... hello... I did and you also told me what the female employee and call taker told me; that the wires would be on the outside of my vehicle in a box. Calvin then began ranting on how I should of cerified with him this morning of how I wanted the wires, I again told him I verified with him already, he claimed I never spoke to him previously. He also said the phone call takers arnt reliable because they are all college kids and arnt on site so they dont know how things work. He wouldnt listen to anything I had to say and demanded more money to make it the way I wanted. I said I wasnt paying anything further and The guy that was currently at the location then tried to tell me I couldnt have my car until I paid for services rendered, when I had already paid and they still owed me the $20 refund and havent fixed this problem yet. I told him I already paid and he said I had not and that had I just told him I wasnt paying. I repeated "Im not paying anything further" then he understood that I had already paid for what they did and wasnt willing to pay more to have this issue fixed as they messed up. Meanwhile Calvin is still yelling over the speaker phone to the employee to tell me to leave and have a good day. I left and called the 1800 number and am expecting a call from a higher up manager then Calvin. Bunch of idiots at this place! Rip off! Scam! Do not trust! Do not go here!

Purchased a trailer hitch from Uhauls website and chose to have it installed here. They called and tried to cancel my installation the morning it was supposed to be done because the hitch had not come in yet, but gave me the option to pick up a hitch from a different location and bring it to them if I wanted it done that day (how generous). I had already made arrangements with work to be gone during that time, so I delivered my hitch to them from a different store. This shouldve been my first red flag. The installation took about 3 hours and all seemed well. Its now been a year since that happened and I have had nothing but trouble with the trailer wiring. The lights started having intermittent issues after less than 2 months. I called the store and complained but I was told that since I didnt purchase the wiring warranty (that they never offered me) that I would have to pay the installation fee again to get it fixed. I chose not to. Over the next few months, each time I hauled a trailer, different lights would choose not to work. One time it might be a turn signal, the next time it might be the brake lights. Eventually, the trailer lights stopped working altogether. Now, just this week, the short in the trailer wiring started affecting the lights on my vehicle. Suddenly, the turn signals and brake lights on my vehicle no longer work! I took the vehicle to my mechanic who told me the trailer wiring job was amateur and he was surprised it had worked at all. He cut all the wires to the trailer harness thereby removing the short from the system and suddenly my vehicle lights all work again! I will get the trailer harness rewired, but certainly not here. Buyer beware: you will end up fixing their mistakes later on down the road. I will certainly never be back to this location.

Totally disgusted with this place. Made a reservation for tomorrow morning, tried calling today about a upgrading our truck and was told that my reservation was being canceled because they didnt have a truck available. Excuse me? A reservation means RESERVED for someone. Dont have online booking if it isnt guaranteed! I wouldnt of known had I not even called to begin with because no one could be courteous enough to call and let us know. Pretty rude and disrespectful. For a company with such a valued name, you have a pretty crappy process.

Very slow service with only one person working the desk. Be very careful that they dont sneak any extra charges onto your bill when you pick up your U-Haul. The total was higher than I had expected. When I inquired about it, the kid said it was for the protection plan. I told him I declined the protection plan online, and he said I added it. I again denied it, and he replied, "I thought you told me you wanted it." Obvious BS. Try another U-Haul.

I want to thank the staff at U-Haul of Roseville. They were friendly and courteous, they were very helpful, both on the phone and in person. There was a slight misunderstanding with my purchase and they MADE IT RIGHT IMMEDIATELY! That kind of service in todays world is increasingly rare and very valuable. I wont hesitate to give them my repeat business, and will recommend them to anyone who will listen. Great job!
