Going to this franchise was one of the biggest mistakes my wife and I have ever made. Management is simply incompetent. When we called the Corporate offices to complain, nobody called us back. Midas has lost us as customers and we highly advise anyone to avoid this location like the plague. On October 4, 2014 we presented my wife’s car to this location because it was stalling at red lights and hesitating during acceleration. They made a quick repair and the car was ready. The problem is, the manager closed the location early because they “were slow” and we couldn’t pick the car up before they closed. When we returned on Monday, October 6, 2014 to retrieve the vehicle my wife experienced the same symptoms as soon as she left the shop. We couldn’t take it back until the following Saturday October 11, 2014. The problems during our visit on October 11 were vast: (1) Management showed up LATE despite having a line of 5 -10 people waiting for the store to open; (2) One of techs remembered my wife’s car and took a quick look. Said we had a PCV valve leak (3) When management finally showed up, he had his entire family in toe. It was like take your child to work day. (4) When we relayed the PCV valve diagnosis to the manager, he dismissed the diagnosis said “we need to run tests”. He also said he would reprimand the tech who performed the diagnosis (5) we never got a call about the car, when we showed up that afternoon, the car hadn’t moved management said the car wasn’t showing the symptoms we described. But when we started it up the care started showing symptoms right away. Management looked at the car & said “you have a PCV leak”. To which we said that’s what the guy who you dismissed this morning said! (6) I called corporate to complain about our visit. Over a week has passed and nobody has responded. In the end we got the problem fixed for free, but the unprofessional management and corporate’s lack of a sense of urgency with regards to our complaint has lead us to find another repair shop to fix our vehicles.

Midas Muffler on Telegraph/10 Mile Rd. and also the location on Greenfield/11 Mile Rd. are owned by the same person. Ive been to both locations. The only reason I had to visit the location on Greenfield is because the Telegraph location fixed a problem I had and it only lasted for 6 mos. after paying them $1200 for the FIRST job. Also, when the cashier, Jason with the bad attitude, called me to let me know what was wrong with my car and I told him the price he gave me was too expensive for me, he asked, "well, how much money do you have?" In my opinion, very unprofessional and unethical. I had to take my car back to them 3 times for the same problem in 1 year. On the THIRD time, I called corporate and was advised to take it to this owners other location. Each time Midas RE-FIX this SAME problem, they charged me at least $200 AND would find another issue. Now its the FOURTH time for the SAME issue (hub bearings), Ive called Corporate again theyre giving me the run around. Ive decided to take my car to a totally different mechanic who has told me, its the SAME issue and Midas "used cheap parts nor did they tighten up the part with the proper tool, which made it wear fast and improperly." Im seeking a REFUND for the THREE BOTCHED repairs and havent heard back from Corporate in 3 weeks. The ONLY reason I gave this place ONE star is because I couldnt write a review without at least ONE star. STEER CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE at these 2 locations!!!!!!!!!!! Ill be reporting this to the BBB!

horrible management - manager Daniel Gilbert approached me from behind the counter in an aggressive manor like he was going to hit me- the manager wrote to replace brakes and rooters signed the paper when I showed up to get the service - refused to service me- I have him refusing me service on camera - my brakes and rooters are paid for- looks like a call to the MEDIA will occur very soon Dont waste your time or money The owners need to contact me back ASAP. This is a serious issue. I wish I could give this place no stars. How are they still in business with these reviews.

Total BS. They dont even mind explaining that they are cheating you, or laughing in your face! Went in to get calipers redone, and they tried to explain how paying DOUBLE for a new part was ok.....and a good thing for me, and my wallet. When I told them this was double the quote of every other shop around town, they laughed at me, and told me I must somehow be mistaken. Like telephones and the internet dont exist anymore. Least if your going to try to scam someone, dont brag about it. Youll never find me going back here.

Came to Midas to get my breaks done. The manager was late and when he arrived he was very rude. The two mechanic waited with myself for the manager for 30 minutes. I would have left if it wasnt for the two young men being able to hold a conversation and ensure the store is a good location but it needs new management. I enjoyed speaking with the two young men and the work they provided was excellent. I would highly recommend if you use this location to either speak with Dustin or Rob. Great mechanics. Need new management!

I was iffy after reading the negative reviews, but I tried this Midas location anyway. I had a great experience and the manager was pleasant and personal. I went in thinking I needed a new muffler, but after they looked at my car, they saw I just needed a new center pipe (I think thats what its called...probably not lol). But anyway, they replaced the part in a timely fashion and saved me money since he was honest and told me my muffler was fine. Now my car is SOOOO quiet! My Grand Prix no longer sounds like a hot rod

Middle of the road review. Great for quick oil changes and diagnostics.....but had some annoyances with major repair work: Their replacement of calipers, rotors, and pads was several hours longer than they had internally quoted me (though very reasonable for price, and no add ons).....but Im already going back in because the breaks locked up again, after only a few weeks. However, everything is still well within the warranty period, and they have been very upfront about everything and friendly.

Its really interesting that my friend (a black man) got great service from this store and recommended it to me. Dropping off my car about 8:30 on a Saturday, and telling the guy that I would need to pick it up before they closed (if it couldnt be fixed today wed work out something...). Driving by with my friend at 1 pm the car was still sitting where I put it. Ended up walking in and asking for my key because we were pretty certain they werent going to get to it today.

For the past 2 years whenever I needed help with tire issues, this location could never help me. They are always too busy to even do a small request. Guess I will drive out to the Midas in Novi, like someone recomnended me to do. If you get to this place early before anyone else, they still will tell you they are busy!! They were never like this years ago!!
