I will start by saying that the reason I brought my car to Moto Medic is due to the fact that I read 2 very good reviews about their service. I would like to tell everyone in the Lake Orion area that I do not feel I was treated fair at this facility. The reason my car was not running properly was due to bad O-ring seals in the tubes that house the spark plugs. Mike the manager at Moto Medic charged me 170.00 just to diagnose the problem and a additional 270.00 to fix the issue. The part for this repair is about 20.00 and the time required is about 1 hr maximum. The average cost one would expect to pay for expert service at their local dealer is 100.00 per hour, if you do the math Moto Medic somehow feels their time is worth somewhere in the area of 200.00 per hour. If you are considering taking your automobile to this facility I would strongly urge you to take it to the more qualified dealer who will probably end up being much cheaper in the long run. Ill keep this quick: I spent over $1000 having a brake light issue diagnosed at an International Truck Service Station (took it there 6 times and STILL never got an answer for the problem). I took the truck in for unrelated service to MotoMedic, and got a call later that day to report the work was complete, and that they also noticed a brake light and tracked down the source of the problem: a $15 part and $40 worth of service. I havent even considered another service source since. I even took my wifes car in one time and told them to change the brakes. I was positive we needed at least new pads. Mike called me an hour later, asking why I wanted the pads changed... turns out we didnt need pads, just an adjustment. NO CHARGE. Im writing this review today because I have all my personal and work vehicles serviced at Moto-Medic and Ive never once had an issue like the one described by the 2001 Neon owner. Best service source Ive ever found.

These folks are wonderful. They are far nicer and more accommodating than even the dealership when Ive taken in brand new cars. Moto-medic does excellent work, and they stand behind it. Ive brought vehicles here for years and everyone Ive ever had contact with has been professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. They are always willing to go the extra mile to save me money by making sure I get the best value on parts. On a few occasions they have even finished early and under the estimate amount. That is certainly a pleasant surprise when it happens! How many people can say these things about their mechanics? I highly recommend Moto-medic, and I would never go anywhere else.

I am very impressed with their honesty & fair pricing! On 3-9-16 I took our van in to check out a whining noise coming from alternator. The mechanic diagnosed it as a bad bearing in the alternator. Joe asked me if I had ever replaced it. He said that it looked like I had done so. I told him it had been replaced at a different garage about 2 years ago. He called that garage, found out where it had been purchased, and was able to get it replaced free under the Auto Zone warranty. I really appreciated Joes honesty! He could have just replaced it without trying to save me some money. I would highly recommend Moto-Medic Auto Service!

The guy that works there really helped me out. He wasnt worried about making money off of us, he didnt charge to look at the car (just knew what was wrong without even pulling it into the garage) and he suggested we call the dealer to see if the problem was covered under our warranty. Turns out it was and he wished us luck and sent us on our way. He easily could have taken the business for himself rather than helping us save money by using the dealers warranty. Thanks Moto-Medic!! We will send our friends and family there and we will be back if we need anything else. Its nice to know theres an honest hard working mechanic in the area.

Excellent service-Just moved to the area and had to have the first repair on my vehicle. AC unit was not blowing cold air. After extensive review of the system they found a leak and then did the research to find that the item was covered under extended warranty. $70 charge (to investigate and reassemble) and my $+700 dollar repair is free at the dealership. This is the kind of service I look for- real investigation and fix the problem right.... they gave up an easy sale to do the right thing for the customer... This will be my new repair shop from now on... Thanks

Ive been coming here for years, they are great! They can figure out hard to diagnose issues, do great work, are trustworthy, inexpensive, i dont go anywhere else. Ive had them tell me the solution was simple and only charged me for diagnosis when i thought it might be veey expensive, that kind of honesty is almost impossible to find! These guys really know thier stuff, and i thank them so much for thier help over the years!
