Terrible experience! They assured us they could handle replacing the struts on our Volvo. What was to be a 4.4 shop-hour job took two full days. Communication was lousy from them and when we initiated the contact we were given various excuses, including the information that they had broken one of the parts causing a further delay while they waited for a replacement. (They even had the nerve to "assure" us WE wouldnt be responsible for paying for it! THEY broke it!) In less than a week the car was making increasingly horrible noise. We wasted another half day without transportation because (supposedly) things needed tightening up. That "repair" lasted less than a day. We then took the car to Kline Volvo, and were told that Firestone had installed the cap plate upside down and, even worse, had substituted a non-Volvo part that was not even the correct size. We are extremely upset with the mess Firestone created, the amount of time and money we wasted on this transaction and, in our opinion, we consider it dishonest and possibly fraudulent that Firestone substituted a non-Volvo part without out knowledge or consent.

If you want quality service do not bring your vehicle here. About 3 months ago I had a rattle in my front of my car after i ran something over. I brought it in to have it looked at and get an alignment done. They said i had a bent tie rod. I had that replaced and when i picked it up the rattle was still present and my car still had a pull to the right. The manager assured me they would take care of me so I gave them another chance. They said they went through and tested every possible thing and couldnt find any other issue. Long story short I had someone bump the rear of my car and had to get it fixed. Part of there standard repairs is an alignment. Ironically they werent able to do the alignment because I had a bent Strut mount. When i spoke to a worker yesterday they said "OH IT MUST HAVE WORKED ITSELF LOOSE OVER TIME". They wanted to charge me another 270 to fix the issue when they couldnt even catch it the first time after two tries. These guys are complete crooks and obviously very incompetent. I wouldnt trust them to work on my kids Power Wheels let alone my car ever again.

Incompetent mechanics that are more worried about their dirty dreaded hair nearly caused a serious situation. Firestone is responsible for the safety of human lives. Had an inspection done prior to car sale. They left ALL of the lug nuts loose and it was amazing the new owner was able to make it back to my house without loosing tires and possibly death. And if Firestone feels like responding to this, keep in mind your mechanic verified the brakes were good, thus tires had been removed by Firestone employee. Vehicle immediately went to DMV for title transfer and new owner drove away. 2 days later advised me of horrible front end noise. One lug nut holding on and stripped out. Checked all others and were finger tight at best. If you value your life dont use Firestone in Apple Valley. Gunners garage in Apple Valley is a top notch auto repair facility and NOT just about money, they care about their customers and I highly recommend.

I made a Appointment ahead of time and selected what tires I wanted ahead of time. I showed up early and was told it would be over a hour I said fine. It took about 3 1/2 hours for 4 tires. Only 3 of my tires were in stock so they had to order one. Instead of going to pick it up across the street, the front of house guy (Kevin) decided it was more important to complain about how behind he was and to go outside every 10 minutes to smoke. After my truck sat on the lift for over a hour waiting, smoking guy was about to go home and the guy in back yelled at him to go get my tire. Once that guy left, things got done pretty quick. I understand delays, but when I make a appointment, and select what tires I want a week in advance, I should get a little better of service. The employee who was working on my truck was awesome and very helpful. It leaves me on the fence if I will ever return to Firestone for future work

On Wednesday May 13, 2015... I went to the Apple Valley Firestone and was treated with TLC. After visiting the Town Center Store in Eagan were I originally purchased my tires from several times with problems. (I WILL NEVER return to the EAGAN Store!.) I decide I would however try another location. I looked up on line and called the Apple Valley Location. I set up an appointment for 10:30. Not only were they quick they were very professional. This location and Kevin Kraus, Sales Associate WERE FABULOUS. They addressed all my concerns and fixed all of my problems. I am truly Thankful to them all but especially Kevin Kraus who should be nominated for an award from the company. He not only made my day but my month and maybe my year. He has saved Firestone a customer and renewed my faith in the company.

I had a very bitter experience with this place. Their mechanics are not competent enough to diagnose a problem. People are also rude. They do not care about some ones life except the money they loot. I had my car inspected and they did not fix anything back properly. My Friend, who knows pretty well about cars told me that they did not fix the brakes properly because of which my stopping distance was really really bad. Dont go to this place. Not at all worthy! I hope firestone top person takes note of such things happening

Definitely ashamed in the fact that I was trying to place an order for tires but the guy I spoke with did not know what he was talking about in tire sizes. Straight up told me he did not know what he was looking at on the computer for tire sizes and could not help me. While I was there I Got an Alignment because my car pulled severely to the left and now not only does it still pull to the left but I have had 3 different warning lights ( Brake, Traction control, and ABS ) since I left the shop last week.

They were a life saver. Car wouldnt start on a Saturday morning and after calling 5 auto shops to see if they could squeeze me in and getting a no I called Firestone and they were so friendly and said absolutely once you get it started bring it in and we will get you fixed up. I got it jumped and showed up an hour later. I was in and out with 45 minutes and they have a new loyal customer. Thank you Firestone!

The only place I take my vehicles to is Firestone in Apple Valley. They know what they are doing plus are one of the most professional and caring places I know. John who works at the front desk is awesome along with Mike Peterson the mechanics. Ive been going there for years with both my vehicles and have never had a problem.

A couple months ago I had both the front and back brakes replaced on a 2012 Dodge Charger. They continue to squeal when braking, I asked about it and was told that it is normal for them to do that the first few hundred miles, Im over a thousand miles on the new brakes and they are still squealing when I brake!
