I was having issues with my brake system - I took it to another shop which I will name because I dont even want to give them the free advertisement - well, bottom line, they first gave me a totally shot brake system. I took it back since it was under warranty and it had only been a week. They fixed again for free. A few months later, the brakes started shaking. I took it to Precision Auto Care in Burnsville and they actually recommended I take it back to the original shop since it was still under warranty. I guess they again gave me a bad brake system when they replaced it. After speaking with Matt, the manager at the Precision, I decided to have them fix it because I appreciated his honesty. He told me there was a few things wrong with my car but was honest on what absolutely needed to be fixed because I was on a budget and he gave me a fair deal because I originally got screwed. Needless to say, I havent had a problem since with my brakes. Now we are sitting at today. I had a few extra bucks and those things that didnt really affect the cars safety that Matt told me about when I fixed my brakes, I thought I would fix. We left our car there and he called us and told us an estimate. He said even though he would love the money, its not worth it to put into the car and we should just get another car. He also gave us a good car dealership that was a non profit charity where we could get a good deal on the car. Very rarely these days do you find customer service like this. The honesty and friendliness and caring attitude, esp at auto shops, is no longer seen so when we do see it, its greatly appreciated. I recommend everyone to go here. I know I will continue to do so.

I printed a coupon for a $50 front-end alignment because my car pulled slightly to the left when I would let go of the wheel at highway speed and I figured for $50 Id get it fixed. I was told I needed a 4-wheel alignment and that would cost $80, but I would be much more happy with the results over the 2-wheel alignment. The technician said he couldnt get the steering wheel to sit straight, but the car drove straight on the road now that he had done the alignment. I said, "as long as it drives straight, I dont care about the steering wheel." Upon driving away, it was immediately clear that the car was still pulling left, slightly better but still left. I thought maybe it could be the road so i waited a couple days while driving it to make sure before making another appt to have them try again. When I showed up for the appt I was told that they had done the first alignment "to factory specs" and that is all they were willing to do and they would have to CHARGE ME FOR ANOTHER alignment if I wanted them to try and fix the slight pull to the left. Isnt that what I paid for the first time!? They were completely unwilling to make further adjustments or assessments from what they had originally done. Id say dont pay for the alignment until you drive it yourself, the technician flat out lied about the car driving straight.

(Edit, re-posting this from a couple years back, I think I deleted my Google plus account and re-initiated it, but the review was lost) Great service for over 5 years! I have been taking my various autos to this Precision Tune in Burnsville for years now and never once had a bad experience. The employees are friendly, the waiting room is very nice (they provide free Wi-Fi and Keurig while waiting), and they get the job done in a timely manner. A recent experience was when I had two tie rods replaced on my vehicle and the job was done faster than expected plus they offered me a ride home and swung by to pick me up when it was completed. Both employees I encountered (Matt and Cory) seemed happy with what they were doing and were easy to chat with. I will continue to bring my business here. I do see some of the poor reviews below so perhaps those are the outliers, as Ive been here several times and never have had an unpleasant experience.

Excellent customer service! The service writers are very straight forward and patient, the technicians have always done thorough inspections with quick, professional repairs and service to my cars. I've been going here for alittle over one year and have always had a satisfying experience of my vehicles being back on the road in little time. Matt, Troy, and Corey have always been friendly with every visit. Even when there is an uneventful situation or repair that has to be done. They do have an uneasy doctor role to tell you what your car is going to need and what to watch for if you dont get it serviced within a certain time frame. But they'll also work with you as best as they can in providing needed info and service to get you on your way. These guys have been top notch in my experiences going there. If you haven't had one there then do remember everyone has a right to an opinion.

I had a flat tire about one mile away, and when I went in, I met Matt and he suggested (No Tow Truck) he would come and help and see if he could get lug nut off my wheel. He followed me down, and tried but could not. He went back, got some equipment, and another person, and came and they got it off, changed to my spare, and I drove back to the store. We made a deal on four tires, and it did take a couple of hours as they were busy, but I had the time to spend with a relative, and when all was said and done, the work was completed in a timely manner, Matt and others were pleasant and helpful, and courteous, and I save some money as well. I live a long way away from them, so it was nice to "rely" upon a complete strange store to help me out, without knowing if they would be willing to do so. I would highly recommend them.

I had a small issue with the service that was performed on my car at Precision Tune Auto, but Matt the manager, took care of the issue in a very polite, professional, and fast manner. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the service that I received at Precision, and that the issue was fully resolved. It is obvious that Matt is focused on providing great customer service, and that customer satisfaction is very important to him and his team at Precision Tune Auto Care. I will bring my car back in the future to be worked on at this specific location because I know that the management is doing everything to ensure that they are providing top notch service for their customers. Great overall experience, would definitely recommend this business to work on your vehicle! Sam

I work as an independent contractor courier, I recently bought a brand new 2012 chevy cruze eco, I know the type of reputation these places have, but saw the 19.99 special out front and thought its just an "oil change", long story short I waited 55 minutes when told 15, total was 40.99 because it required a special filter which I was never told until the bill out, I drove back to coon rapids where I currently live, checked the oil the next morning, to find it a quart low, pathetic, I topped my own oil, called to talk to the manager, before offering me a soultion he tells me "Theres no possible way its low we always check it twice etc etc etc NICE!, compelted 2nd oil change today for half the price at a non-franchise shop in coon rapids, always trust your gut and never trust these f"ers
