I am writing this response for the lady who took her car to this shop: She brought her 1997 Mercury Couger to the shop to have a noise diagnose when left or right turns were made. The manager "Mike" called me back stating that the front coils had snapped and that the ball joints were so rusted that they are about to snap off. He then said, "I shouldnt let you leave like this" concerning the condition of the vehicle and made it sound like the wheel were about to snap off. He quoted me a price of $1500 for the repairs She then took the car to a mechanic from her church who look at the car and said that the springs were fine and the ball joints were dry but but "Rusted to the point where they would fall off". What ticks me off the most is that they guys are taking advantage of a womans wallet instead of giving sound advice. If a guy were to come into that shop, they wouldnt take advantage but watch out ladies, these guys are as crooked as a hillbillies smile. I would advice not to take your vehicle to this shop. They are dishonest. If you decide to take your vehicle here, get a second opinion from a personal mechanic and not their employees. Beware.

I called this location to have TPMS sensors (that I already own) installed on my winter tire setup. This amounts to dismounting the tires, installing the sensors, remounting the tires, and balancing the wheels. I called twice about the work and a price (just to be sure), and was told to bring them in whenever I like. I stopped by this afternoon, and was told by the kid behind the counter that he wasnt sure how he could do that. I began to explain (not sarcastically) that I just needed the tires removed, etc. He rudely stopped me and said that he knows how to do the job, but hes not sure he was supposed to. I mentioned that I had called, but he instead asked if I could stop by tomorrow. I said no, and he said he couldnt do the work. Thank you for wasting my time, Tires Plus. Its nice to see that the reviews on Google were not incorrect. FYI, the guys at the Discount Tire in Lino Lakes were very nice and professional. Its worth driving the 10 minutes further north to get the work done there.

This place is the definition of terrible. Went in because my car was overheating. They charged me $100 JUST to diagnose the problem. They told me it was the thermostat and it would cost $300+ to fix. I got the part across from the street from Oreileys and fixed it myself for $10. Then the next day it was overheating again so i brought it back in to have them look at it again because the reason they told me it was overheating was incorrect. It was supposed to be free but they charged me $30 because they put coolant in my car that i didnt ask for. I could have put it in myself for free...... To make it even better, when i brought it home i found that the panel on the side of my drivers seat was broken. So i called them snd brought it back in (3rd time now) and the manager had this disgusting attitude the whole time. I will NEVER go back here even though its 1/4 mile from my house. Never ever ever take your car here. The employees are horrible, especially the manager.

It seems to me that both this location and thebone on central in Blaine are not very customer service oriented. As for this location, I was told I could get in at 11 for an oil change. When I arrived, I was informed I would need to leave my car ALL DAY for a simple oil change. Also, the other location was suuposed to get me in for an oil change so I asked them to look at my muffler and they said sure but theyd need to do a "full inspection " to do that. When I called circle pines location they said "We do not have any tools to fix a muffler, neither does any other tires plus locations." Interesting. Lastly, they hsd put a new set of tires on and they made me wait 4 hours! I was told it would be an hour and a half. All I got was were sorry. I hadbto go to work and my car was lifted up so I was 2 hours late for work. Rubbish service.

I had a 1 hour appointment for a tire alignment. At the 1 hour mark, I asked how the work was and they told me there might be a loose bearing. At the 2 hour mark, I asked how the work was going and they said a rear alignment bolt was rusted and they wanted me to replace it. I asked if they had even started the alignment and they said no (how did they know I had a loose bearing at the 1 hour mark???). When I complained at the long wait time and the fact that they hadnt even started, they said they were sending me on my way without any alignment performed. When I said that I already paid for their 3 year alignment plan, they said they didnt care and that since I was complaining about the wait they were not going to help me. These guys are the closest tire shop to me yet I will never go back.

I brought my car to this location, because my heat was going cold while driving. After bringing it in, and waiting over 6 hours to hear anything back I called them. Nate (the manager) told me there was a lot of air in the system, and they flushed it. I never authorized the work. $140.11 dollars later, I get my car back. The SAME thing happens the next day. I bring it back, where they say they will look at it for free. Another 6 plus hours later, I get a call back saying they are not entirely sure what is wrong, might be a thermostat? But they are not sure. However they did point out that my tire rods are bad and they could repair those for $946...What the hell were they doing inspecting my tire rods when I brought it in for a cooling system problem?
