I just moved to the area in the last 30 days and I came here because I loved the precision tune in Apple Valley... I mentioned to the guy that my oil change was like 4000 miles past due... That is the longest I have ever went between oil changes...The only reason I waited that long is because the mileage on the sticker from my previous one I didnt think was accurate because after about 30 days it said I needed an oil change. I didnt think I had went that many miles in that time frame... The guy was friendly at the Lino Lakes location, but nobody asked me what kind of oil change I wanted. I usually get just the basic.. I have a Hyundai Sonata which takes 1 more quart than your basic vehicle. It may of needed the premium because of how many miles it had been in between oil changes, but either way that is my decision to make and nobody asked me what type of oil change I wanted. I also needed an air filter, so I had them change that. They did a 42 pt inspection of my car which I dont know if that is standard or not, but I did not ask for it and I dont believe I was charged for that. When they finished my oil change and air filter change and I went to pay for it... They charged me $72.32!!! I have never paid that kind of money for an oil change and air filter.... Needless to say I will not bring my vehicle back to this location....

Im a mechanic myself but there are things that you cant always do like welding on a muffler, engine break down etc... It happened twiced i should of known better. First time was a muffler installation. We brought our own muffler to have it install that turned into $600 - 1,000 repair and i had someone else installed it for $50. They still charged us for inspections that they did that we never requested. Second time was an ac deal they had in there advertisement for $109.99 through the mail included leaked down test, repair, refill etc... found out it needed a replacement of a ac component and that the repair would cost $700 to $800. We told them no, went back to pick up the vehicle and they still charged us $90 for the ac inspection while other auto repair like honest 1, etc... does that for free. I do not recommended these guys or precision auto tune to anyone especially if you are someone who dont know what you should be paying for your repair. Because they will over charge you every dime they can squeeze out from you. Good luck, Im done!

I cant thank Paul, Jeff, Adam and the rest of the staff enough. They always do their best to help me immediately and get me on my way. This morning was no exception. I called before the shop opened because I had a low tire (11 lbs of air), Paul saw a missed called, immediately called me back - I said can you help me - I either need a ton of air or a spare put on. He said come up - I got there before the shop opened, Paul personally took my car back, assessed it put the spare on and ordered me a new tire (mine could not be repaired). He said come back whenever today and I;ll put the new one on whenever you get here and get you back on your way again (knowing I had all kinds of things going today). I cant ask for a better crew of people to trust and work on all of our vehicles.

Honest bunch of professionals who sincerely care about their customers. I moved to Lino Lakes 2 years ago and was nervous about trusting someone new with my familys car maintenance. I can now say that in my 24 years of dealing with car issues, these guys have provided me the best experience yet. They never propose maintenance without first explaining their recommendations in detail. They also never try to pressure me into having any work done. Bottom line...if you want to bring your vehicle(s) to a service shop where their motivation is clearly focused on performing excellent work, that inherently results in very high customer satisfaction, but doing so in a way that makes you feel like theyre looking out for you, then listen to my words and reap the benefits.

I had my oil changed here about a week ago and felt compelled to give my two cents. First, Paul and Jeff have exceptional customer service. Both of these guys are friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. Second, they made recommendations for my vehicle but did not come off as pushy. I am skeptical of auto professionals and have been burned more than once so I am not quick to trust but I trust this business. They swapped out some bulbs, a filter, and an oil change and it was extremely quick and reasonable. After changing my own oil in my garage for the last 10 years I will now be using this place. Couldnt be happier.

Ive been bringing my vehicles to Precision Tune in Lino Lakes for a few years and have found them to be both honest and highly accommodating. They do thorough inspections and have been able to identify problems and make appropriate repairs which Honda and Toyota service could not resolve. I couldnt be happier with the quality work they provide for our vehicles. They only repair whats necessary and never try to sell service which isnt needed. The owner, Paul, and his assistant manager Paul are great guys who make it easy to understand what work is needed and why. Theyve earned my highest recommendation.

The team at Lino Lakes Precision Tune have always been very honest with me, informative, and non pressuring. I know a little bit about auto mechanics as well, so I know they can be trusted. Thank you so much Paul and your team for being a place I can trust and rely on. The service is great and so is the work done. The price is always good too even though it doesnt feel good to pay for car repairs, it helps knowing it will be done right so I dont end up paying more later which usually happens and I see many people do.

Tried to get a price to get the brakes done on my 03 f350. Jeff , the manager, would not give me one. They also wanted to install their parts when I had bought high end replacement parts already. Jeff was rude to me and would not give me the number to make a complaint to corporate. I talk to Darryl at corporate. He said he would relay the message to the guy who owned the franchise but could and would do nothing else. If you are looking for a good auto shop this is not the one.
