Several years ago I brought my Lexus ES300 in to have an intermittent A/C issue fixed after reading great reviews. They were very friendly and after two attempts they told me they researched and found a relay that was known to go bad. So they installed the "new updated" relay. Well later that same day, the same issue shows up. So, I thought Id just take it to the local dealer. Sure enough, they say there is an updated relay I need. The one that was installed wasnt the updated one. That fixed the problem and it only cost me about $100. I called Paul and he apologized and said he would make it up to me the next time I needed service. This past week I had my son bring his 2009 Subaru WRX in to have an oil leak diagnosed and fixed. I got a phone call from Paul saying that he needs to replace all the seals and timing belt components in addition to the brakes being totally shot. The estimate was $4000. I was shocked and decided to keep our appointment at the local Subaru dealer. Paul was very cordial and charged me a fair 1 hour labor fee for the diagnosis. We brought it to Bloomington Acura Subaru for the repairs. We just picked up the car from the dealer. They replaced all the same components and the total bill was $1404.00. They didnt replace any brake components because they said they had roughly half life left. Im sure brake diagnosis is somewhat subjective but..... They are very nice and always offer a nice used Audi as a loaner. Id bring an Audi in there for repair but wont bother with any other brands. Just my experience. They seem to do great work for others. Draw you own conclusions.

Dufour Automotive has exceeded my expectations each time Ive brought my Jetta there. Absolutely fantastic shop! Everyone on staff is excellent, especially the owner, Paul! Id say the people at Dufour know how to handle tricky German cars even better than the dealer. Drawing from extensive experience servicing and driving them, Paul clearly and completely explains whats wrong, what he recommends doing about it, and how much it will cost you. He is very up front and reasonable. I really appreciated that Paul valued the knowledge I have of my car and didnt assume I dont know what Im talking about as I have experienced in some other shops. He is very good at explaining problems at a technical level matched with your understanding and is never condescending. When I picked up my car he even included a diagnostic report on the passenger seat so I could look into other fault codes the car was throwing and decide how to proceed. A very nice loaner car was offered for no charge while my car was in for service. Explanations and diagnosis never feel rushed but the service is by far the fastest Ive experienced and also top notch! Im blown away!

A little delayed review, but I brought my 2000 A4 into Paul last July with a whole host of problems. Unable to identity what was critically wrong with it, I had Paul run an inspection of things that were "of highest concern" and things that were of "lowest concern." Paul detailed a report for me listing the things that needed to be fixed from most important to least important. After such timely, friendly service I decided to get almost $3000 worth of repairs done to my baby. When I received my car it ran like a top. A month later I heard a squeaking noise in the front axle area of my car and called Paul. He told me to bring it in and he would take a look at it. He put the car up, identified the problem (as a nut that was too tightly screwed on and rubbing against part of the frame) and put on a smaller nut and it fixed the car. As a show of good faith he did this for me at no cost and the sound immediately went away. Great customer service, personable, and a great mechanic, I highly recommend Paul to anyone who owns an Audi and wants their car fixed right the first time for an affordable price.

Paul and his team provide excellent customer service. Paul has a ton of knowledge about Audis, BMWs and other imports from his direct experience driving and servicing these rides. Paul showed me the diagnostic test results when I brought my car in, and explained to me exactly what my car needed and why. Hes great at explaining technical issues in a way that any person can understand. Hell give his recommendation, but wont push unnecessary services/parts on you. Theyre very straightforward and let the customer decide what they want to do. I had a warranty on my car, and the team at Dufour made the process of submitting a claim painless as well. They even provided a loaner car for the day without any hassle. Id highly recommend Dufour to anyone looking for work on their vehicle, and especially if you own an import. Dufour should be your first call when youre in need of repairs or maintenance!

I brought my 2004 VW Phaeton to Paul Dufour. I learned that Paul is a Porche Master Mechanic and he proved this to me by performing expert work including a tranny filter and flush as well as suspension work. I have arranged with Paul to have him do some more work on my car which has in excess of 170K miles. Pauls confidence in his own abilities has convinced me that I can probably get another 100K miles out of my Phaeton. The clear difference with Paul and his crew is that you are going to get superior service and attention to detail without feeling like you had to take out a mortgage. They only do whats needed. You can trust them to take very good care of both you and your car.

Contacted several "indys" before I talked to Paul at Dufour. We discussed my concerns and he was very familiar with my Porsche Cayenne S. The work was completed in a day and the value for the price was great! He offered a loaner (Audi s4) that I had been wanting to test drive for quite a while which added a pleasant experience I had not even anticipated. I am glad I found this shop and would reccommend any of my friends to give them a call, Paul is great to talk to and the quality of the work is second to none.

I took a car in for a pre purchase inspection. Was greeted and worked directly with Paul the owner. He was friendly and honest. Explained exactly what was wrong with the car, what would need to be done immediately, and what were minor things that could wait. Paul sat down and talked to me exactly what the repairs included and why they were so important for the car. I would definitely go here again. Excellent service Great low pricing, and the free loaner wasnt too bad either
