I was referred to Accurate Auto Repair because of online reviews like this one. I am new to the Hermantown/Duluth area and did not know a reliable, trustworthy repair shop. I decided to trust the reviews I read and take a chance on this business. I had a knocking sound between my rear tires when I went over bumps. Jody knew what the problem was before he even sat in my car. One of the rear sway bar links was going bad , just as he thought. He recommended they both get replaced since they were both the original factory parts and the other would probably go bad soon anyway, which I agreed with. I was most impressed with how professional and friendly he was. He took me back into his shop and actually showed me what the problem was before I decided I wanted the repair done. Thats when I knew I had found a place that I can trust. The cost of the repair was reasonable and what he estimated it would be. Driving home in a quiet car I knew this place was getting a 5-star review. But then Accurate Auto went one step further to exceed my expectations. Jody actually called me about an hour later to confirm that the sound was gone and that I was satisfied with my service. Who does that now a days? This was truly excellent service, and I highly recommend them for your future automotive needs.

I have had multiple experiences with accurate auto and all have been great! 1. Serpentine belt had fallen off due to a different mechanic. Accurate Auto inspected the belt and and put it back on free! 2. I needed new ball joints installed and they did it for a very reasonable price. Dropped my car off in the morning and it was ready by noon and they also got me a quote on new tires which was a great price. 3. Manifold replacement: I knew I had an issue as it was very loud. After replacing the manifold, Jody took me into the shop and showed me all the parts and pieces that were broken and explained why the parts broke. Overall great staff! They are easy to work with, explain issues, answer questions, show you parts, cheap oil changes, and are fast! They also work on foreign vehicles! Bring your vehicle to this local shop with confidence!

My son had my truck up in Duluth to move home from collage. Friday before Labor Day at around 4pm it would not start. We frantically called around trying to find someone who could look at it before the holiday weekend. it was looking like we were stuck until Tuesday. Another shop recommended Accurate Auto. They were able to diagnose the problem over the phone, sent out a mechanic who stopped for the part on the way and repaired the truck at the curb saving precious time before closing...and a tow.(it was a little circuit board in a aluminum box bolted to the frame that controlled the fuel pump) WAY OVER THE CALL OF DUTY! How easy it would have been for them to wait for Tuesday, Im sure they were all excited to start their holiday weekend.

My first experience was a very expensive engine repair....which I knew was a major issue, before I was fortunate enough to be refered to Jody and Accurate Auto, by Darrel Nelson owner of Daves Automatic Transmission....as time has gone on....and issues with the 07 need tending.....I have continued to have them remedied at Accurate. ......planning ahead for winter weather......had a list of concerns......thinkin..$$$$....the shock of....a...$32.00 oil change.....everything else is fine...how honest is that......and the engine still is running, just like new. Ive only been to this shop a few times but I will never take my vehicle anywhere else. Accurate auto is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They got me in fast and both times my car was done before noon. The rates are super reasonable and they take the time to explain everything. I am so impressed with their service, their follow up & their demeanor. Its so nice to be woman and not feel like im being taken advantage of! I would recommend this shop to anyone! GREAT WORK!

I have had several dealings with Accurate Automotive. Everytime I need something done, they handle it with more professionalism then you would expect! They have always been honest and straight forward with me about weather or not my car is worth fixing and even connected me with someone that had a better car for sale, when mine wasnt worth fixing anymore... I will use them for the foreseeable future and suggest you do the same!

My son just had his pickup in there to have front brake lines replaced. What should have been a fairly simple job turned into a fiasco when they call back telling him not only does he need the brake lines but he also needs a rotor and calipers. The rotor I can believe but I just replaced both calipers not even a month ago. This place is shady as hell in my opinion not somewhere I would recommend to anyone.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. ..I WAS QUOTED A PRICE FROM A DEALER SHIP OF 3000.00. SO I ROAMED THE WEB AND FOUND ACCURATE AUTO With GREAT RATINGS SO I TOOK A CHANCE. SO GLAD I DID. THEY WERE SO KIND AND POLITE. PLUS GAVE ME A GOOD PRICE. IM THRILLED. WILL SPREAD THE WORD OF GOOD AROUND FOR THEM AND WILL BRING MY CAR BACK THERE TO GET FIXED. DONT HESITATE TO CALL THEM.
