Id been going here for a couple years and never really had any problems. (at least that I know of) Then I went in because my car was shaking at 70. They said that the left front tierod was bad and leaking, and that the entire rack and whatever had to be replaced, they didnt know if that was causing the shaking problem or not, but it for sure had to be changed. I didnt really know much so I looked on-line and it seemed like it could be causing my problem, so the next Monday I brought my car in again for them to start work. They came to pick me up at the end of the day and the steering wheel was rubbing against the dash because it was too tight. I was told it should hopefully be a quick fix so I could wait if I wanted, about 15-20 minutes later I was told I would have to bring it back in because it was going to take a little longer. Fine. So I bring it in again and this time when I get it back the blinker no longer turns off after making a turn, I have to do it manually. So I bring it in AGAIN and they look at it and tell me that its broke and that it was just a concidence that it happened, that it would have broke anyway, and tell me they will pay for the labor but I have to buy the 150 dollar part. This was not satisfactory for me so I told them not to do it. So now after four trips in I have a car the still shakes, the blinker doesnt work, and Im out like a 1000 bucks. Not only that but I switch shifts with my husband so I have to be home to watch our child so he can go to work, and 3 out of the 4 times they did not have my car ready to go when I said I needed it, luckily grandma works shorter hours in the summer. Worst of all, Ive discovered that if I pull back on the steering wheel the blinker turns off, meaning the switch isnt broken, the steering wheel is still just put in too tight. AND when my husband was looking over my car before winter (3 months later) he saw metal showing through my tires - meaning they had to be pretty bad when I brought it to Youngsteds. We got new front tires put on and lo and behold the car no longer shakes. Im not saying the tierod and rack didnt need to be fixed, but not only did they not return the car to me in at least the same condition as when I brought it in (blinker cancel switch still isnt working right), but they didnt even look at the tires, which apparently in a common reason for a car to shake. Maybe the place is good for oil changes (they are cheap) but dont expect them to even check anything else - everywhere else I go has always at least looked the the tires during a regular oil change, and dont expect good results on any major repairs.

After making an appointment for a 3:00 oil change, I showed up and was told right away that things were a little backed up and would have to wait longer than I was first told. After waiting only 45 mins, my car was ready to go. When I saw my vehicle was finished, I stepped into line and was told by the mechanic that my car was ready, I did not have to pay, and he appreciated my patience. Although the first time at the Hopkins Youngstedts, Ive had my vehicle serviced at the Eden Prairie location a few times. Every experience has been wonderful, and I will always highly recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you!

In Minnesota for training and needed an oil change. Made an appointment but did not have my Goodyear card handy. I called my home location in Madison Wisconsin to get the 800 number for the cashier to call and complete my transaction. He told me he was alone and did not have time to follow the prompts to do this for me. I guess I will make an appointment at another location an never use Youngstedts again. What a hassle.

Charges me $550 to replace rear brakes that squeaked for 11 months, during which time I went in monthly in an attempt to fix the problem. I got a 2nd opinion who said it was bad after market brakes. Paid another $300 to re-repair. Youngstedts says theyll give me $280 back. I show up, sign away the warranty, get in my car and its $97. Unfair equitable adjustment for nothing but a $550 problem. I will never return.

My Flooring company uses YOUNGSTEDTS for its fleet service on my vehicles. They can handle anything that you can through at them, they have tones of Techs that can handle any type of situations that might come up. I sat in comfort while I wait for my vehicle with coffee, popcorn and a TV to keep me occupied. Youngstedts has affordable rates and great deals too... OVER-ALL I had a great experience Jeffrey

Good for oil changes and other small repairs/maintenance. Good customer service as well. However, I would not trust them with any major repairs. Seemed like they were throwing guesses at my car when things got complicated. Took it to a more reputable repair shop and they did a full diagnostic to get to the root problem rather than throw guesses. Also, they are quite expensive.

Ive been coming to Youngstedts for years and they have always taken great care of my car. Informative and helpful. Quick and responsive. The lobby is always clean and they provide complimentary water, coffee and TV if you decide to wait.

RIP OFF! Tried to charge $600 for a repair that costed $230 at a real mechanics garage. Shop around is my advice to you, you might just go for service and free coffee. I mean they are nice, and if you just want an oil change w/e.

I had a really bad experience just trying to get an oil change at another garage earlier in the day, but the guys at Youngstedts were so nice and friendly . It totally turned my day around. I will definitely be back!

Dishonest people work here! Torn my tire put it in in a bag and said sorry we cant install it. I opened the bag and saw the tire is racked. talked to a manager he offered me to buy a new tire from him
