1st Visit: Brought car in for new tires and oil change. I use specific brand of oil they didnt have. So, I figured like any other garage Ive been to I purchased my oil else where, brought in car for tires and oil change. they wouldnt change the oil. Store policy crap... Anyways no biggy brought my car else where after the tires where done. OBTW give a 1st time costumer a 10% discount or something when they drop 700 on tire dude.. 2nd Visit. When I purchased the new tire in the 1st first, they conned me into Lifetime Alignment. Ok, sounded like a great deal! I started off getting my oil changed at another shop (Dealership) then brought my car to Firestone for alignment check. Got checked in. Dudes daughter comes in and gets Grade AAA Service Odoyle rules type sheet. WTF mang. I get bumped back behind her. Finally, they pull my car in, but not in the Alignment bay.. I sit back and watch. Mech pops hood, testing, checking bulbs and fluid. I seem him messing around with the headlights, and blinkers. WTF. I ask myself? How can you align a car from underneath the hood? I let the mechanic do his thing than car gets moved to the alignment bay. Ok remember prior to this, I just got my oil changed, so everything was gone through and checked. Cars done. Mech comes back with piece of paper stating I need $1300 in sway bars, breaks, & rotors need replacing, and I have a headlight out.. Went back to dealership not firestone. breaks 40%, Rotors and sway bar perfectly ok.. Go rott

Brought my car in before a road trip for an oil change and a car check. They said it was time to replace the spark plugs, a filter and brake fluid. I had zero problems before bringing my car in. I picked it up and right away my brake indicator went off. I checked the tires and they were fine. I tried resetting the indicator and it was locked. Brought it back in. The mechanic messed around with buttons on my wheel, I watched him nevet once did he go into the glove compartment where the reset buttom was located. He came in and said the indicator wasnt locked, just wouldnt shut off and to bring it to the car dealership. I got in my car, checked the reset button and it was definitely locked, he didnt know where the reset button was. I get home and clean my car. I noticed a bunch of oil on the ground under my car. Popped the hood and the windshield fluid and brake fluid cap was off(he never screwed it back on after filling it) my oil was low. I brought it back in. They stripped the plug for the oil and my oil had been leaking for a day and a half. After they put a new plug on I left. Get home and again had a feeling I should check my fluids before I traveled 3,000 miles on a road trip. Not only was the oil completely low but there was barely any coolant. I had to fill both. I spent 400 dollars on annual service work there and they ended up screwing up my car. I will never go back here again.

I had scheduled to have my own tires drop shipped to this location for them to do the install and got this approved with an assistant manager at the store prior to my placing the order. I got a phone call back from the manager who basically bitched me, the customer, out for planning to send them some tires for an install and with a super bad attitude said he would refuse them and have them sent back. I had to call the District Supervisor on this guy whos name is Craig B. and told them this was the 2nd time I had been mistreated by this same a--hole and that they would be well advised to get rid of him. Even one of the stores assistant managers agreed with me that the guy has no people skills and that many customers had similar experiences. If they ever get rid of Craig B. then you may consider returning . . . but believe me . . . not until hes gone. Signed, Happy with Service Elsewhere, SLP resident

Completely untrustworthy - My wife went in for an oil change and they told her the rear shocks were leaking and the tires needed to be changed because they were in poor shape. I was skeptical as her car has low miles, so I told her to get a second opinion. When she told Firestone this they tried to pressure her into doing it that day because it was a safety issue. When she brought it to Ford, they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with any of the suspension. On top of this, they tried to convince her to sign up for a "loyalty card". After they asked for her social security number, she became skeptical and asked them to cancel the application. They did not and filed for a new credit card anyways. Well be reporting this, though I hope others can avoid this experience.

I purchased a set of tires from them at a great price. They installed them and got it done, no problem. I later scheduled an appointment with them for an alignment. I showed up a few minutes before my appointment, and then was told that they wouldnt be able to get to my car for a couple hours. They didnt say that they were running behind and actually said that they book multiple appointments for the same time slot even though they only have one alignment rack. When I asked what the point of setting an appointment was, I just got a shrug of an answer. Im certainly not the most important person in the world, but I dont have four hours to waste. I was very frustrated to have wasted my time.

Poor-Fair is even too high of a rating but there isnt an option any lower. The mechanic at a local repair shop that was actually honest with me was furious with Firestone when he heard about this: I have no idea how other Firestone locations operate but this one is awful. Took my car in for an oil change this afternoon and they told me I needed $1,650 worth of repairs done as soon as possible. I thought something was fishy so took it to a local shop for another opinion. Turns out only two of the many from the list Firestone provided actually needed to get done and only cost me $300. I will always avoid this location and tell EVERYONE to do the same.

Went in for alignment and they said they wouldnt do it unless I had tie rod ends and lower ball joints replaced. Quoted me a price of nearly $1,200 to do it. They wanted to charge me $126.99 for each tie rod end and I bought them online for $11.38 each and installed myself. They wanted $123.99 for each ball joint and I bought them online for $13.98 a piece. I installed the tie rod ends myself and checked the lower ball joints which were fine. I took the truck to NTB for an alignment and they agreed the ball joints were just fine and did the alignment in no time. This place really tries to gouge on their parts markup. I would not recommend.

There are a ton of negative comments for a reason - DO NOT USE THESE RIP-OFF MERCHANTS! I took my van in for brake pads and got a quote for over $800!!! New pads, rotors, clean, align both front and back. Read a few reviews at the behest of my incredibly intelligent wife (sorry honey for not listening earlier). Anyways end up not getting any of the work done and get a second opinion. Low and behold "brakes are absolutely fine" was the diagnosis. These guys are scumbags please oh please if you read this, dont be an idiot like me - get a second opinion and save a ton of your own hard earned money!
