In many ways it was the rainbow at the end of a bad storm. They came to my rescue when my front tire blew out 1/2 hour before their store was even open. I checked my trunk in a used car that I just recently purchased and found out that I did not have a jack to change my tire. I limped into their parking lot and knew that they were not open yet but I was willing to leave my car and walk to work expecting to call them later and set up the replacement of the tires, but no he was there preparing coffee for his future customers. He was not able to do more that take my name, phone number and keys along with a promise to call me after they did open. About a hour later I received the call with a fair deal on the tires needed and a promise that it would be done at the end of the day for me to pick up after my work shift. Thanks not just for fair service but great customer service.

Whenever I have a problem with my vehicle; tires, lights, battery - whatever, I bring it to Golden Valley Tire! These are the nicest guys when it comes to helping figuring out what the problem is, and they are great at suggesting options and pricing. It is conveniently located on Hwy 55 between the city and surrounding suburbs. If service is going to take a while, there are plenty of restaurants in the area! Ive visited them all while waiting on my vehicle. Thanks Golden Valley Tire & Service for your A#1 service.

After my ins-all review I received a call from the owner Rob. and was pleasantly happy to hear he would like to fix the relationship that went south in regards to the service I had encounter at his location. He promptly remedy all of my concerns. My car was overheating. Another repair shop said it was my thermostat. So I paid them to fix the problem....surprise, surprise this did not correct the problem. Then I went to Golden Valley Tire & Service. Not only did they diagnose and correct the problem - their "carside" manner relieved my stress, allowed my female brain to comprehend the repair, and they did not attempt to perform any unnecessary surgery on my car. Thank you for restoring my faith in mechanics! Ill be coming back.

Ive gone here a couple times and have been very happy with the service. I dont know much about cars, but theyve never acted like I was stupid. Some mechanics do. They are very knowledgeable and fix the problems you report. If its a simple fix, they let you know. They inform you of other problems without pressure. And they even charged me less than the estimate theyd given. I honestly felt like they were on my side. As great an experience as you can have with car problems.

Golden Valley Tire has been taking care of my aging vehicle for years- stepping in at one point on a safety issue the dealer would not or could not address. They helped my husband source an install a new engine on his vehicle. They do the little stuff, too. I always feel as though I am getting an honest assessment of when and when not to spend money on a service or repair. Customer service is prompt, courteous - and they get the job done when they say it will be done.

Golden Valley Tire had been my preferred service provider for all my automotive care. They are always very friendly and honest with me and they do an amazing job! They have helped me navigate the little things as well as the super complicated issues with my car. I have been going to GVT for 5 years now and I will continue to come here for all my routine maintenance and my more complex maintiance when it arises. They dont think of your money at all. They put $400 alternator into my car which is 16 year old and worth probably the same $400. Im not an expert in cars and expected advise but I never got one. Afterward I easy found much cheaper alternators. One of them was new and cost $120. Their argument on that fact was: "We always use this supplier". Then put poster in front of your shop: "WE ARE USING VERY EXPENSIVE PARTS". Although they did a pretty good job.

This is BY FAR my number 1 go to place in all of Minnesota! They are completely honest with anything that they come across and dont try to "get you" with things that arent really wrong. Never once have I felt I didnt get what I paid for. The manager Branden is the kindest guy and makes you feel welcome every time you enter the shop and that also rubs off on all of his employees. GREAT LEADERSHIP. Recommend this place for anyone easily a 10 out of 10!

They were fast and friendly and got me an appointment on a Saturday from an online form within 36 hrs. The bill was near average (based on some quick internet research). Dealerships I have been to are terrible all around and local businesses are always better than retail chains, as far as I am concerned. They even went and got my bike helmet after I realized I had forgotten it in my car. They had to lower the lift system and everything.

Had a screw in my tire they fixed quickly. They didnt push things on me. I asked if I needed tire rotation and they said tread is fine and I dont. 2 weeks prior the last place I got my oil changed told me I needed it. I had just got new tires 3 months ago so was wondering why that place said I did. I appreciate the honesty and upfront approach golden valley tire gave me.

Got a nail in my 2 year old tires. Dealer said I needed to replace tire and all of the others since it is an AWD vehicle. Golden Valley Tire took a look and had a patch put on in less than a half hour and it is good as new. The people are very knowledgeable and the service was great. Will definitely be back when it is time to actually replace the tires.

Ive gone to this shop for many years, for both routine work and the occasional urgent fix (i.e. tire patching), and theyve always managed to fit me into their schedule and get the work done, and done properly! There are other auto shops closer to where I live, but these folks know their stuff and have earned my loyalty as a customer!

I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of service I have gotten here. Its always reasonably priced and you are rarely charged for tests/evaluations that amount in no actual repair being performed. I have taken two separate cars here for various reason and I have always been pleased with the work completed.
