Howard was a pleasure to work with. He was friendly, courteous and very prompt when I dealt with him via phone, email and in person. I was able to work out a time to have a loaner available to me so I could drop my car off and return to work. After meeting him I felt confident in leaving my car in his hands. I had my valves adjusted and timing belt/ balance belt changed and found my car in much better working order than when I dropped it off. His prices were extremely competitive in my opnion (versus the $80/hr quote I received from another shop) and I found him to be very knowledgeable about the car (mitsubishi lancer ralliart) Although the shop is a bit hard to spot as it blends in with all the other office spaces (there is no big garage door next to the office front) and Minnetonka happens to be a bit of an extra drive for me - I will continue to seek out Howard if I ever need more service done. I would highly recommend him to my friends.

They helped my mother figure out the problem with her car and also quoted her a price to fix the issue that was so reasonable. The engine was overheating, after a reasonable priced diagnosis they took the time to explain to her what was going and what could happen if she did not fix the problem. I felt she was given enough information to make the correct decision. Her car was fixed the same day along with a free rental during the repair. They let me pay for half the bill over the phone and for her to pay the rest. Thank you crew at Minnetonka Auto Service. She is very glad to have found some mechanics she feels extremely comfortable with and already trusts, and it was only her first time there. Thank you.

I recently had some work done on my 2006 SS Chevy Impala and Howard was great. I have worked with him in the past and he is very trustworthy and knowledgeable. He always explains the situation and what he found to be the problem. He always calls before any work is done and quotes you a price. This time his work was actually under what he quoted and accepted a coupon on top of that. Minnetonka Auto Service is defiantly the best place in the area. I have gone other places and have never felt as reassured as when I go here. I now live way across town and it is still worth fighting all the traffic just to have my vehicle serviced here.

Ive been screwed by mechanics so many times, sometimes had them boldface lie to me and had to call them on it, I guess because I am a young female? Minnetonka Auto Service has never done this to me. Ive never taken my car in for an oil change and had a call about 15 other things that are wrong with my car. I put off writing this review until I was sure, but Ive been taking my car there for over a year and have always received the same wonderful service. I referred my boyfriend and sister to them and they have both had the same experience. They are honest and friendly, nice little mom and pop. Will go the extra mile for you.

I have been there couple of times now, one of the experiences was my power steering fluid was leaking very badly. I went to bobby and steves (theives!) and they said the power return hose was gone bad and provided an estimate of $450. I went back to Minnetonka Auto Service and he fixed it for $20. It seems the clamp bolt was loose. I have just had wonderful experiences so far I have been there. Now anytime I have a issue with my truck, I just call AAA and send it over there without even paying a visit to explain the problems! Try it once and you will stop looking any more further! -Rakesh

I found a coupon for a $16.95 oil change and figured Id give them a try. I called the shop at 10:00 AM asking if they could fit my car in for an oil change and that Id be there at 11. I was hoping theyd be quick because I had to be at work by noon. Not only did they have my oil change done within 30 minutes of walking in the front door, they were very friendly and helpful and the overall experience was pleasant. Ive been telling everyone I know to give this shop at try and will definitely be going back in the future! Thanks!

The owner, Howard, was nothing short of amazing to work with! He was extremely professional and took the time to explain things that were wrong with my daughters vehicle. He went above and beyond to make sure that her vehicle was thoroughly inspected and repaired before she heads back to college. Im so grateful and thankful for Howard restoring my faith in believing there are honest repair technicians out there. He treated with me and my daughter with the utmost respect... I would recommend Howard to anyone I know!

The guys at Minnetonka Auto Service are awesome. Ive taken multiple vehicles in for repair here. Two of the vehicles they spent time out of their day to estimate the cost of repairs, we however decided not to go forward with the repairs but they did it all at no cost! Highly recommend using this place for any of your maintenance/ repair work.

I brought my car to Tires Plus originally and they quoted me the amount that was unrealistic. I asked a friend where she takes her car and told me about Howard. He did a good job. His rates are reasonable. He is professional. He even provided a free loaner car for the day! Everyone should take their vehicle to Howard.
