They say that first impressions count but not I this case however. My dads car was towed to this shop due to a flat tire and I didnt have a jack to change it myself. I called my dad and he called his insurance company. The insurance company called Bobby and Steves to come and tow his car. The guy was extremely rude to the tow truck driver in person and was also extremely rude to my dad on the phone all because their tow company didnt get the call to come and tow his car which was not my dads decision it was the insurance companys decision so because of all this the guy refused to work on my dads car. Needless to say we will never take his car or any other car to this place ever again and if my car or his car breaks down and they come with their tow company I will tell them not to touch my car or his car and that they can leave.

I got my car towed here, because it wouldnt start. I called them to tell them the story and have them check it out. I was waiting for a call to hear the outcome and get an estimate and their suggestions. The one and only call I received from them was to tell me I owe them $140. They performed an oil change and replaced spark plugs without any autorization from me. Spark plugs are $5 each and an oil change, done by myself, is $20. Clearly I would have chosen to pay the lesser amount and done it myself, but didnt have the choice to do so. I was bummed, because I was hoping to find a nice local shop to call my home shop.

Excellent work, honest pricing, friendly staff, really impressed!! I was heading out of town for the weekend when my car broke down on 494 at about 3:30pm on Friday. I called them after another shop told me that they would not be able to look at it until Monday. These guys were there with a tow truck within 10 minutes and had my alternator and belt replaced by about 5:30pm! I was able to make my trip and the car is running great! Thank you, I would drive an hour just to get service from these guys!

I called to get a quote on muffler repair. After sending them a picture of the damage, they gave me a quote of $1000. Reason is theyd have to replace the whole unit. The mechanic I spoke with flat out told me, do not come here. Go to a muffler shop because they can do things with mufflers that they cannot and they can do it for much cheaper. Talk about honesty! Next time I have a repair not muffler related, I will go here for that reason alone and other reviews say prices are very reasonable.

THE BEST! Honest appraisal of vehicles condition, clear explanation of options and estimates that are fair and reasonable with no surprises.at the end. A neighborhood garage and tow service that treats the customer with respect for their concerns and budget. My daughter-in-law appreciates that she is treated like a competent adult without condescension. We have been customers since the 80s with cars and trucks new and old taken care of to our complete satisfaction.

Driving through the area from out of town, called for a tow truck late in the afternoon. Plymouth Village Automotive towed me in and replaced my alternator at a VERY reasonable price, and while I waited! While waiting, I called other shops in the area and Plymouth Village was the best deal. A+ service, I recommend them to anyone in need of an honest auto repair shop or towing service. Very glad I brought my car in for a second opinion here! I was told elsewhere that both control arms needed to be replaced, among other things. Scott advised me here that only one was torn and nothing else was wrong with my car at the time. He was very good at explaining all the details. I definitely appreciate the honesty and the saved money! The service here is very quick and affordable.

My car broke down and suddenly wouldnt start. I used their tow service to have it towed to their shop. They diagnosed and fixed the problem the next day. The description of the problem was straight forward. The service was efficient and done in a few hours. Best of all, the price was very reasonable. I plan to come back, and I would recommend this place to anyone who asks.

Its a wonderful, affordable place that is very honest! Most places try selling way more than needed and charge way more than necessary, not at Plymouth Village Automotive though. Way cheaper than anywhere I could find and didnt try to sell unnecessary things. Two thumbs up for the towing services and the auto repair shop! I recommend anyone to use them.

We needed to repair our AC unit in the car which hasnt been working for the past year. When we came to pick up the car, we expected to pay a couple hundred dollars for parts and labor, but we were shocked to be told we didnt have to pay a dime! Ill always choose Plymouth Automotive!

Called for a tow for my broken car. 1.5 hour wait for truck. When he arrived the driver pulled up to my car and then acted like he was getting a phone call. He told me that he had another call and had to leave. The driver drove away, leaving me stranded. he never called back.

Got a flat tire, called the shop was told to come at once. It took 7 - 10 min to fix the tire. I spent $15 (Sears wanted $19 and to set up an appointment). Ill see how the fix will work in time and follow up if itll go wrong. Otherwise Im satisfied very much.
