Terrible experience with Mindy! NOT one other stylist stepped in until I asked them if it was going wrong (I knew it wasnt). I could tell she was new, less than one week out of school and no supervision! No waiver at start of services, so I want a FULL refund. I never signed anything saying I wouldnt get a refund if I wasnt happy. I had an arrival time of 11:30 am for a partial retouch of bleach highlights and a haircut. She never asked how thick I wanted the highlights to show - I wanted a natural look and she put in CHUNKS! Highlights took most of the time, she had a terrible method which led to the line of demarcation still showing, bleeding foils and fried roots. She had to re-do most of the highlights to reduce the line showing from old highlights. All the while my roots were sitting in bleach. Lots of patches right near my hairline. Haircut was a disaster; she didnt follow any of my directions and cut my (curly) hair like a straight hair person. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH MINDY! I finally left at 1:40 only to be embarrassed walking out. Seriously never in my 6 years going to Sam’s been this embarrassed at the outcome. I would have been better off going to the local beauty school where at least people have to get work approved before letting clients walk out. That being said, I have had positive experiences here, thats what keeps me going back. I guess they should let the chemical services be done by the chemical experts until people actually know what they are doing.

Needed my infamous biennial haircut! Thats right, every two years baby! These bad girl hair strands dont grow ever! I also dont cut my hair because it falls in the categories I think men dont notice: hair, nails, makeup. So why waste my money right? Moving on... Came out here because I happen to be at the gym a few steps away. My stylist that day was totally nice and attentive to my non-sense description "well I want my hair to fall this way and when I curl it with an iron to go that way. I want this layer to start under my ear". I dont even know what I said, but she made it work. We initially agreed on a 3" snip, but with getting my layers all around she cut off 6". Not a big deal, I actually liked it. She made my 40 minute hair cut a breeze because she made plenty of conversation. This place was very clean and welcoming. The lady at the desk was all smiles and even asked me if I wanted to join a discount club thing. Of course I said no because cutting your hair every 2 years is already a bargain (haha). Do I recommend this place? Yes it was pleasant. Thank you!

During my visit at the Hugo, Fantastic Sams. This past Friday, my haircut was horribly cut by the stylist. I numerously asked thr stylist to correct the obvious mistakes. At the end, I was so frusterated that I paid and left. I walked down 3 stores to another salon. I explained my store to the stylist and she agreed that my haircut was poorly cut and would need another haircut to correct it. After two hair cuts and $60 later, I call Fanstatic Sams on Monday morning and speak with the manager. I explained what happend on Friday and asked for a refund. She stated that she would call the owner and see what options she has. A couple hours later I recieve a voicmail that the owner denied my request of a refund, but offered a free haircut because I didnt come back in to see if they could fix it. This is absurd! I tried to tell the stylist multiple times during my haircut what needed to be fixed. I had family graduations and gatherings this weekend and I needed my haircut to be fixed immediately! Dont go here!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have Kelly. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. The picture hair cut was a little below the shoulder. Basically she did nothing that was in the picture. She cut my hair to all one length and she cutit above my shoulders and the picture had layers as did my hair before the cut. I told her to cut, clean up and get rid of a hole that another stylist has put in my bangs. She did NOTHING with my bangs. I had to cut them myself since I had an interview I was going to and the bangs where in my eyes and bothering me. I will never go to to this place again.

This was my 5th time at this location, I asked the Stylist to just shape up my hair and left in tears. It was cut way too short in the front yet she didnt clean up my neck. I called and spoke to the Mgr that same week and didnt feel she understood how bad a cut I received. I stopped in and she agreed the cut was really bad and way too short but wasnt willing to offer anything to make up for it. Ill never go back.

Got my daughters hair cut here and the stylist Nikki did a horrible job! When we got home I noticed that she didnt even get all of my daughters hair straight! She still had long pieces of hair in different areas of her head. Had to go back and stylist Kelly was able to fix it so thank you Kelly!
