I have been going to Fantastic Sams salons since I was a teenager, but after my last visit, I think it may have been my last. The service has become terribly hit or miss of late, but the miss trend has been continuing more often than not. The stylist that I had was in a horrible mood and did not even tell me their name. They were also very rough, which made what should be a relaxing experience into a stressful one (tiny stud earrings should not be yanked that hard by combs). The kicker was that he took no interest in looking at the pictures that I brought and cut my bangs without asking. After asking where I usually wear them, they were CUT. I came in for a trim and as such, I expected to be asked how short I wanted them, as is normal at most salons. I did not say anything because I thought maybe Id like it, but it was not what I wanted and has turned out to be a pain to style. All during my cut, I had to sit in a chair/area still covered in the hair from the previous customer. Now that Im an adult, Im taking my money to a cleaner, friendlier salon.

Worst experience of my life today. I have a short hair cut and Sherry, the salon worker, messed it up to the point that the manager couldnt even fix it. Sherry didnt talk to me at all, made fun of the fact that I had to put my glasses on to see, and blamed me for cutting my hair wrong. Never go to this salon. They dont take the time to figure out how to cut your hair properly and the manager doesnt care enough to do anything about it. They "cut" your hair in about five minutes and then you have to take the next twenty to tell them how they should actually have cut your hair. The salon workers only talk to each other and clearly dont know what they are doing. If you try to go there, dont get Sherry. She cant cut, is rude, and her own hair doesnt look professionally kept. Go someplace else. Youll never be happy unless you a man who just needs a buzz.

Very dirty salon, Everything needs a good scrubbing. Went there before noon. Floors had not been mopped for quite a while. Coffee pot was disgusting. Spider webs under the shelves of the products. Garbage cans full from previous days. towels used are tattered. It sadden me that a franchise allows this filth. The stylists were good but salon is poorly managed allowing this health hazard.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I had been going there for several years and over the last 2 years it has gone way down hill. There is a new male stylist in there and he is just a jerk! Bad service and horrible quality. If you care at all about your hair, do not go here!! Very dirty too! If there were an option for no stars, I would not give it any stars.

I wanted a trim, because my dead ends were terrible. The women who did my hair did not talk, or smile at all. She was so rude. And in the end i asked if she could dry my hair straight to see if the hair was even and she said its $7 more...Im not paying $7 more just to get my hair dryed straight. When i was a little girl they were so nice but that place definitely went downhill...

I live within walking distance of this place however I no longer go to this one. No matter when I go there is an hour plus wait. Then the haircuts are ok. They are constantly turning away customers because there are never more than two "stylists". I now just go to the one in Blaine even though it is much further away. Always get in and the staff is much more pleasant.

Male Cut by female worker. Didnt even attempt to talk to me to see how my day was going. Just paid attention to her co-worker cleaning in the back, talking about volleyball and dating. She wanted to rush, and get me out ASAP. No conditioner used during wash. No styling product offered after cut. Crappy service by a crappy stylist. Avoid this place like the plague.

The horrible attitude the stylist gave me upon arrival should have made me turn around and leave. But the hot mess she left my hair in after the cut confirmed my instincts. If they seem angry and dont ask you anything about your what youd like done, other than "whats up?" Well just turn and run.

Horrible service. Girls just gossip the whole time. She took about four minutes to cut my hair, then sent me on my way with wet hair and all in.. the winter time! I couldnt even see how she did cause it was never dried or styled, got home and the cut is horrible. Seriously, never go there!

Im not very picky and this was the worst hair experience of my life! They let me leave with aweful hair that was 3 different colors horizontally (which should have been 1) and over charged me. The stylist did not even know how to mix up the colors. I do not trust this salon.

Waited much longer than I was told. Received 0 consultation from the stylist on what I wanted. Ended up just cutting my hair a little shorter without paying attention to the sideburns, blending, or making it look nice. Avoid this location.

Very rude, dismissive staff. Ive always had issues going there so i stopped going and went to the one in Circle Pines off Lake Dr. They are AMAZING! Friendly staff, I love this place and wished I had gone there sooner.
