We have come here around 8 times since moving to the area over a year ago. Loved the first few times and since then the last 6 months its either great or horrible. Went tonight and checked my son and I in the get haircuts- was told there was no wait. My son was brought back right away and the next customer that came in was seen by the next available stylist and nobody ever called me- so I said never mind and paid for my son and left...you never know coming in what kind of service youre going to get- I think they need better organization and leadership. The stylists we usually end up with are really good individually- communication doesnt seem consistent between the employees.

Appointments seem useless here. I set my appointment a week in advance. There were 3 of us that had appointments at the same time upon arrival. I arrived in the middle and on time. Both of the others got seated with less than 5 minutes wait, while nearly all the walk-ins went first - some who arrived after me. I had to wait nearly a half hour. Once I received my consultation,I was informed they ran out of carmel color, but that I could come back and get that color once they had it in stock - but that it would cost me more to come in twice (I had planned to have a highlight and a lowlight) That was it for me - I had to walk out. I will not be back...Ever!

I have recently went to FS and it was terrible at first! I had this lady cut my hair too short and did not do what I had asked her to do. I even brought in a picture. When my haircut was finished, I told the lady that I did not like it and she didnt do anything about it. I left in tears and I came back ten minutes later saying I do not like my hair cut at all. The lady completely understood and I had my regular stylist Emily fix it and she did an amazing job, As Always! Besides the first lady who cut my hair, they do a great job.

This low rating has nothing to do with the stuff, I always seem to get a pretty decent haircut from here and the staff seems nice everytime i go but i recently got a cut from there and the price for a mens haircut just got jacked up to $20+ tip generally i give $3. This is starting to get a bit ridiculous for an easy mens haircut. My cut is super simple, buzz sides,clip top, and fade together, 10-15 min cut tops. Im sorry thats not worth $23. Time to start looking for another place to cut my hair.

I have big, long, naturally curly hair. In my 40+ years, there has been minimal difference between a $20 hair cut from a competent stylist at a lower cost, family-friendly salon and a $60 hair cut from the fancy pro shops. So, I found a couple people at Fantastic Sams who have naturally curly hair, and I ask for them when I walk in for a cut. They do a great job every single time! Pricing is fair and reasonable. I love the conditioning treatment for $10 extra and the weekly specials.

just moved to the area, been to this FS twice and its been horrid both times. From the people standing around chit chating while people wait to the unbelieveably unfriendly people working there, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Now if are a part of the cliche then go here, but ill take my business back to the cities. Ill happily pay twice as much to not feel like a piece of crap.

I received a horrible haircut from a different salon. I went to Fantastic Sams to get it fixed. The stylist was amazing! She was supportive and tried very hard to make sure I would be happy about whatever we did to fix my hair. Jillian saved my hair and it was not an easy task. I will be going here for my future hair needs.

I love this place. I drive from Roseville to Forest Lake just because I love this place so much:) Ive been going for a year now and have yet to have a bad experience. The price is right and the quality is like you just went to an expensive salon. Friendly staff and clean facility. Nothing but great things to say about it!

What is the point of having an appointment. No one acknowledged me and my son when we arrived. Waited at check-in podium and after a while sat down. Waited longer..... Asked if anyone was available to check us in and was told someone would be right with us. Poor customer service!

In the 10 times I have been there, I have received 1 amazing haircut, 4 good haircuts, 5 fair haircuts,and 1 terrible haircut. The atmosphere is somewhat cliquey and stuffy. As a man, it probably is not the best place in town for a haircut.

This place used to be awesome until all the good stylist left. I know why they left, because the owner before them sold the place to new owners, and Im sure things change. I wont be going back because its gone down hill in service.

This is the second time a stylist have my son a dumb & dumber bowl cut with way too short bangs. Except this girl barely even cut the rest of the hair, just short straight bowl. Poor kid has to go to school like this!

Ive gone here for years and am used to waiting about 20 minutes or so. Was told 20 minutes as usual and after 50 minutes and watching several walk ins get taken ahead of me, I simply left.

Confusing not sure what the cost of a color is website says 51 stylist says 65. I thought you got a deal when doing both cut and color apparently not.

I always go in asking them to cut off an inch or so, and for some strange reason they ALWAYS cut my hair at least twice as short as I ask them to..
