I purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian. Lets start with the definition of a Brazilian Blow Out BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT IS THE ONLY SMOOTHING TREATMENT THAT CAN BE CUSTOMIZED. to keep curl and lose frizz, or to achieve a sleek and straight result. I told the guy doing my hair " I get my hair blown out every week, I do not want to spend the money doing that anymore. I also do not have time to do my own hair so this is why I am doing this. When I had it done years ago, I came out of the pool and my hair was straight. I loved that" His response, " Yes, makes perfect sense. You are going to love this. I am always so happy with the results for my clients" Cut to - I said " When I had this done last they had two people working on me. They didnt want the product sitting on too long and we did the procedure 2-3 times" Him Yes, we will do that" Now he blows me out - straightens me. I said "so are we doing that whole process over again? No he says - we are going to add the conditioning treatment for 2 minutes - there is an extra charge for that. ONE - No one told me about extra charges and TWO - you said we would be doing the process again. Hair gets done - I am soooooooo FRIZZY I am about to cry. I said "this is not what a Brazilian is supposed to look like" He said "well, its like a Keratin treatment" I said " WHAT? that is not what we were talking about and definitely not what I wanted" He called a young girl over She came over and said " You must have just gotten your hair colored cause your dark hair vs your blonde hair looks great" I showed her a picture of my gorgeous shiny hair that I had before I came in - I had a selfie" She said " Yeah your girl fries your hair but knows how to blow it out so you do not see it" WHAT?????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The styles looked exactly the same and now it looks terrible. I said " If youre telling me this is a protein treatment - which is not what I thought I was paying $100.00 for, why doesnt it look better?" She turns to the guy who did my hair and said " You need to condition her for 20 minutes" So they did and she ended up blowing me out. She went on and on how this is better than Keratin and that she guarantees me, that I will be back for this treatment. I said "No I wont because this is not what I came here for. I came here to temporarily straighten my curls - which is in the description of a Brazilian all over your store and on Google and which I have done in other places and ended up with smooth hair out of a wash. My hair is straight up curly. I would never spend this for a conditioning treatment especially 45 minutes from my house. My salon just doesnt offer this service" She said "well, you will have to call Groupon for a refund, we do not do that here" She went on to say " I think your hair looks better than when you came in" My hair was smooth and beautiful when I came in since I had it cut and styled last night. Very cocky. Rewind for a second - I called letting them know that I was running 5-7 minutes late as I didnt realize how far it was. The receptionist said " Well, you better get here fast but dont get in an accident" I get there 7 minutes late and had to wait 15 minutes because he was still with a client. When he is done, he stands 5-6 feet away from me and says " are you here for a style"? I said " do you mean a Brazilian? He said " yes, turns around and starts walking to his station without introduction" I still couldnt tell you his name. Cute kid and nice though. The girl who blew me out didnt say goodbye nor did he. Just weird. This experience was awful and a complete waste of my time. She was full of contradictions - You shouldnt have colored your hair this week - well, your receptionist should mention that - Oh, I mean its no big deal. Well, is it or isnt it? UGHHH

I purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian Blowout hair service at the Salon Fusion, Inver Grove Heights location. The stylist who performed the service seemed nice enough from the front door to the chair, and then she began to "analyze" my hair situation. Id just had a hair color service at another salon the day before and was very pleased with the color. However, in what was clearly a desperate attempt to sell me on more services, she began feeding me back-handed compliments and flat-out insulting the color and cut and quality of my hair that I had been so excited about. She talked down to me and then proceeded to speak poorly of other clients, as well, and in a very condescending way, would circle back to a pathetic sales pitch. I finally explained how disappointing this was to be told how "bad" my new hair looked because I was feeling completely deflated now, especially since I had been so excited to be heading out of town on a fun vacation the next day. She then tried to back-pedal but it was too late. I would not recommend her for any hair service, because it became difficult to tell what things she was being honest about and what things were just sales attempts. She was pretty aggressive with the comb and drier and the sales pitches, but I guess my blowout looks decent; its my first one so I have nothing to compare it to. But Id pay full price anywhere else to not endure that again! Ive never felt so bullied, especially while spending almost $200 in services, products and yes, a 20% tip!

I had a massage a few days ago by a women and it was terrible. She was so ruff and unprofessional. And my appointment was for 1:30 so the lady at the counter told me to be there 15 min early to fill out paper work, so I did, she took me back to the massage area and when the massage lady came out she said to me why are you here so early and told me I shouldnt of been there until 1:45. Pretty sure she should of taken that up with the person that took my appointment over the phone. I thought that was very rude of her to talk to me like that. I will never go back to this place again.

I have been going to Allie for about two years now for a Brazilian blowout. She does an amazing job with my hair ans it always comes out super soft and smooth. With my texture if hair I didnt expect the results I ended up getting! The salons atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I highly recommend
