Root is amazing. I go here normally for cuts and color and they always do an outstanding job, so I knew when I got engaged that they had to style my hair and makeup for my wedding as well. Jim (the owner) is awesome, Nyssa (who usually does my hair, and styled it for my wedding day) is a total rockstar, Alex (helped us with wedding day scheduling) was so great to work with, and Bree (who did my makeup) does great work. Every single person who works there is immensely talented. Nyssa did such an incredible job with my hair, which is quite thin and very curly, so I definitely did not make it easy for her. I cannot recommend the team here enough. They are absolutely the ones you want to trust with your wedding day look!

After receiving a terrible balayage at another salon, I rushed to Root at 6:30 p.m. to see if I could schedule an appointment for someone to fix it. To my surprise (and relief!), Megan immediately brought me to her chair and assured me shed fix it that evening. She worked me in despite having another client, stayed an hour past closing time, and completely transformed my terrible color. She reassured me shed fix it, and it turned out fantastic! I have never received such amazing treatment. I cannot thank her and everyone at Root enough! I will definitely be seeing Megan for my next haircut and color!

I actually wouldnt give this place any stars but alas, limitations of this review system. Made a new client appointment for a haircut on Sat at 8am. My stylist calls in. I find out about this when I walk in the door for my appointment. Im very kindly offered to sit around and wait until 9:30 for another stylist who is "running a bit late" to come in. Gee...thanks. Super disappointed because I read so many positive reviews about this place.

Last Friday I was in desperate need of a cut and just something nice to make my day (2 family members in hospital) I was able to get in with KC (first time). She was so patient and kind and wanted to make sure she understand my hair and wishes. The long scalp massage would be reason enough to go back! My hair cut is super cute- have received tons of complements and it is very easy for me to style. I could not have had a better experience!

I had a wonderful experience here. Megan was so caring and capable with my poor, damaged hair. So often you feel like your stylist just wants to get the job done. But here, they actually care about whether you walk out happy. She explained what she was doing and why, went through the products she thought best fit me, and made sure to go over the next steps for my hairs recovery. I will definitely be going back!

My boyfriend and I went here last week to get his dreadlocks cut off. The lady that did it (cant remember her name...) did an amazing job. She was able to salvage a few inches of hair, which is a big deal since hes been growing them out for over 6 years. She cut and styled it perfectly, which Id imagine might be a little hard to do since its very curly. Im planning on going back to get my hair cut off next! :)

I come from normally paying $20 for a cut at a typical franchised salon. Once I came here, it changed my optinion of salons! I got a color done by Kennedy and turned out amazing!!! It may cost more but you are paying for a fun upbeat atmosphere, genuinely friendly stylists and top notch skills. 100%worth it. (plus you get a beautiful blowout

Id have to say this is the first time I have ever left a salon feeling happy, sassy, and beautiful after a haircut. I have confidence and trusted the stylists would take care of me. This was very important to me since my wedding is in a week and a half. It is so good to know that even if everything else flops, my hair will not!

I went here for a wedding I was part of. I was a bit nervous just because I was not sure if the stylists would be able to pull off my style I wanted. It turns out that the stylists were absolutely amazing and I had a great time. Lets not forget that the mimosa was amazing! Thank you for such a great job on my hair!

I had my hair colored here by Megan, and she did an absolutely amazing job. The color has never looked so good -- the woman who cuts my hair (another salon) even commented on it, and that was more than a month after the color! This was my first experience with Root and I am sold, going back for a touch up soon.

Great first experience. Very calming atmosphere and great stylists. As a male my cut is relatively simple, however it is always a good feeling being able to leave a salon feeling confident with your new look and knowing that your stylist took their time and is happy with it as well.
