Went to get my hair cut there today around 5:30pm and I should had listened to my gut feeling and walked out before it was too late. I wanted to save some cash so I decided to come go to FS after not going since I was in high school? But I needed to cut my hair so I went. I went in and there was only one hairdresser working, one...most definitely understaffed. I awkwardly sat down and waited as she was finishing up the person before me. No greeting whatsoever but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt but I am too trusting which led me to my down fall and this mediocre haircut. Long story short, I left the place with soaking wet hair because she didnt bother drying so I could see the finished result. More people started coming in, one lady actually left, and she basically rushed me out of there because she was the only one in the salon. I was probably in the chair for only 10 minutes. My haircut was nowhere near the photo I showed her. I had long strands of hair left that was not even cut from the back...my hair was pretty long, it was half way down my back and I was cutting it up to my shoulders. The front was uneven because the left side was longer than the right and the "layers" dont look like layers. I came straight home to and fix my hair and washed it out because there was still a lot of conditioner in my hair. I def need to get it fixed up. Was it worth saving the extra cash? Nope. Should I have listened to my gut? Yep. Lesson learned. I guess Ill just suck it up and go to high-end salons where they actually take their time and consult with you. Not returning any time soon, like ever again.

Ive gone to this salon for years... The last 2 times Ive gone in and told the stylist exactly what I wanted. Both times leaving with something different. I have short hair - I called the salon and explained the last cut on 4/23 left me with spots that were almost bald and my wax was terrible. The stylist put a ton of product in my hair and I didnt notice the spots until I washed it. I was told I can come in again to have them look at my cut and try to fix it. NO Im not going back I dont have time. I am a single parent that works and goes to school. I go in when I can... Id have to take time off work to go in with in the next 2 weeks. Im not going back to this place again! DONT waste your money here!

Went here today to get a long bob. Asked for 1/2 inch taken off in the front and 2 inches in the back. I wanted a more dramatic difference. Left with 4 inches gone in the front... My hair was well past shoulder length when I went in, I had plenty of hair to achieve the style I showed the stylist. My hair is now just UNDER MY CHIN. Very disappointed, I was really looking forward to trying this style and now I will need to wait at least a year for it to grow out to where it needs to be to achieve the style I originally wanted.

I chose the Oakdale Fantastic Sams today because of location, but when I left...not only did I have a great cut, but I knew that I would be back. Ashley addressed all my questions and concerns. She gives great scalp messages, suggested great products and how to use them and didnt apply high pressure tactics to purchase in-store products. Shes a great conversationalist and her spirit is fun and uplifting. I think this salon deserves better ratings and is worth the visit.

Ive been going to this salon for several years and will not go anywhere else! I have fine, thin hair and getting it colored can be a challenge unless you find someone who really knows what theyre doing - which is what I have found at this salon. No matter what time of day, this salon is such a relaxing place, and the atmosphere is always cheery and upbeat. The stylists are friendly and fun to visit with. You cant go wrong at this place, I promise you!

You can get a good haircut at most Fantastic Sams. This one gets hurt by a seemingly higher turn-over of its stylists and a location that tends to be slower. They also have adjusted hours in unique ways over the years, cant blame them for trying to make the location profitable, but it definitely doesnt help the reliability of their online listed hours arent accurately reflected.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First time I came here they somehow forgot to put my name on the list. I waited for an hour before being helped. I decided to give them a second chance today. Big mistake. The lady that put my name down told me 15 minutes wait, and an hour and a half went by without my name being called. I wont be back here again. Waste of my time.

Been going here since it opened. Always receive prompt greeting and check in. Wait time estimation is generally accurate. Many different stylists have worked here over the past 10 years and not once have I observed any of them being rude or discourteous to customers. I would recommend this Fantastic Sams salon to anyone looking for a hair cut.

They told me 20 to 25 minutes wait. I sat there for a hour. On aThurday 5:00. Three people were working. Two of them were doing color. Not one of them said anything to me. Very unprofessional. I have been going there for 5 years. Never will go back.

New manager who is rude & unprofessional. The prices change at her whim. Long waits, no excuse when there are 3-4 stylists working. Had been a customer for 3 years, wont return. Jacki & Kim are no longer at this salon.

Everytime i come in for a cut i see Draya shes a great stylist. All of the stylist are friendly and professional. Its a very chill salon and there is never a long wait.
