Never again. I have had a storage unit with this place for about 6 years. First the price keeps getting jacked up, they added insurance onto my bill WITHOUT MY CONSENT, a mess of other things with billing and website account issues that never let me manage my account online. I finally had enough. And them bumping my bill to $150 a month put me over the top. So I stopped in to the office in May, paid my bill through the end of June and told the lady at the counter I would be vacating by then. I signed whatever paperwork was needed and she said TRY and stop in once the unit is empty and clean. Fast forward to June 30, I get the last of my stuff out, sweep the floor clean including a couple dead mice, remove all the spider webs from around the door and ceiling, close the door and exit the facility. I pull up to the office, walk up to the door and it is locked. Its 5:50. The sign says they close at 6:00pm. Shrug my shoulders and leave. Fast forward to today I get a call from a lady saying that since I didnt notify them that I was vacating I have an outstanding balance. WHAT?!?!? She wasnt even willing to discuss anything, just saying I should have called if they were closed and repeatedly saying I must pay. Never ever again, Public Storage will never get another dime from me! PS, dont expect your unit to be waterproof. I had water damage on a few things that were sitting on the floor and a heavy coat of rust on ALL steel surfaces.

The experience from start to finish was positive. I made the reservation online since I noticed an online discount. Within 30 minutes, Keisha called to ask what time I was going to check-in. I thought that was a nice touch. When I arrive she told me it would be a higher rate, then corrected herself when I told her I made the reservation online. They tried to sell me insurance and said that rental unit contents would need to be an add-on to our homeowners insurance. I am not sure that is true, but I declined the add-on insurance. The contents are just sentimental antique furniture. I was disappointed when we went to look at the rental unit and the "barrel lock" I purchased from Public Storage last time, would not work. They only had the old "padlock style" lock units available. But she told me I can purchase my own padlock and call them on the day I wanted to move in and they would remove their temporary padlock. I called them on the move in day and when I arrived in the evening, their padlock was gone. The unit was 5ft x 10ft x 15ft high. It was more than enough room for the furniture from my small apartment.

My experience was both full of lies and sneaky tactics! I was flat out told by a Jon Ramiro that in order to rent the storage facility I HAD to purchase your insurance. So, I chose the cheapest one which was $11/month. Yet in the yellow Insurance addendum agreement it states that "I understand this insurance is not required in order to store my goods at this facility" which is it? Both myself and my sister were there when he said this to me because I was the one renting the facility. I was also sold a $20 dollar lock which I had NO idea was happening. I was never ASKED if I wanted to purchase a lock ASKED if I needed a lock or just flat TOLD that there is a fee for the lock. I feel very scammed by this facility and I am not happy! I have filed a complaint with the BBB of MN.

Angie is a true professional. She is the epitome of superb customer service and represents your company very well, She is proud of what she does and knows her job well. Any employer would be lucky to have her. She explained policies and what we should expect, took us to the unit to insure we were comfortable with the process. She is a "people person" who is an excellent communicator. She made us feel as though we were part of her family. It was an honor to meet her and have her represent your company. All contact with your employees there has been up front and personable. I would recommend your storage facility to anyone. Thanks for the opportunity

I already had one storage unit at the Savage location so when my daughter needed one I knew just the right place for her. The facility itself is always clean and neat but moreover, the staff are very on-task. Angie looks after everything. She checks the buildings rigorously, pays attention to who comes in and out and immediately follows up with any of the clients if she finds or feels something is amiss. It is really nice to know that your belongings are being safeguarded in addition to being properly stored. I would recommend the Savage location to anyone.

I was looking for a big storage unit and was referred to the Public Storage in Savage. I was greeted by one of the friendliest workers named Angie that I have ever met dealing with someone in customer service. She was very attentive and helpful in every way possible. Honestly,this has been one of the best experiences in dealing with a worker at a storage faclility as I have rented from a few other companies in the past. Not to mention,the grounds are one of the cleanest I have seen.Would highly recommend this Public Storage! Santiago Jay

Wonderful, compassionate, and great services. Angie was very helpful in letting me know all the ins and outs of accessing the building as well as the different sizes of units and rates. Gates worked, stuff was safe and secure, and she even called to remind me that if I wanted to vacate I would need to let them know soon to avoid additional charges. Great location and excellent service. If I ever require a storage unit again I know where I will go. Thank you, Public Storage!

Weve never used storage before. Angie was very helpful in giving us tips on the best way to store things. We moved in below zero weather with piles of snow. Angie helped us get into our unit and siliconed the latch to make it easier to open. She checked on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. Angie was amazing!! I thought renting a storage unit would be stressful as my family is moving. Angie made us feel at ease. She was friendly, clear about how to operate the storage facility, and had a great sense of humor! I appreciated that she was patient as I asked questions and she bantered with my children when I was filling out paperwork. She is kind and has a great sense of compassion. Inside storage for $30/month: good price. First month plus fees plus lock plus pro-rated remainder of existing month = $83! Quite a bit different than the "$1 for first month" special. Explained to me as "long-term renters benefit from $30/month fee rather than one-time $1 fee then $60/month thereafter." Maybe so, but give me a choice before Im asked to sign. All that said: inside storage, inside entry, climate controlled for $30 is a good price.
