I recently brought my audi a4 in to have my turbo looked at since the shop I was taking it to had it for weeks and kept second guessing what they previously told me. Tim had his mechanics put some miles on it trying to get the check engine light to come on. When the light didnt come on they tore in to the turbo and couldt visually find any thing wrong. Tim told me that it didnt necessarily mean that there isnt a low boost problem. He told me to put some miles on it and if the code pops up bring it in. Few days later the check engine light came on so i dropped it off. Tim called me back within a couple days told me the code was a thermostat which he could take care of first thing Monday morning. Saved me a few hundred dollars compared to the price I was quoted at the previous shop, plus thousands that I almost spent on a turbo that I didnt need. I also asked him if he could throw some new tires on for me since I didnt have to spend as much as I thought. He got the tires done the same time as the thermostat didnt need to make a seprate oppintment. They did run in to a,small issue with one of the tires that was defective from the factory which set us back a day to fix, whats 24hr when it comes to safety though? Its been a nightmare taking my car to this other shop. From here out I will only bring my car to automotion. Very professional and trustworthy. There not just trying to make a quick buck off you. They want you leaving with a smile on your face guarnteing that you will do repeat busines. Plus they always have high end used cars for reasonable prices..

I bought a used vehicle from Automotion. We had a written agreement for a list of items to be completed before I purchased this vehicle. They were pleasant to deal with up to the point of the purchase. The weekend after the purchase I learned the transmissions torque converter was faulty. They may or may not have known this was faulty. Either way they said they would make things right with me. Several months had passed and I never received a single communication from them. Every time "I"called or emailed them I now realize I got a run around on how they were waiting for something/ somebody. Furthermore, several written items that we agreed on to be fixed were not, except one. The others items I had to find out myself one by one that they were never completed. Two examples: 1- the spark plugs were to be replaced. When I checked them not only were they very old and dirty, they didnt even match. 2. The engine oil and filter were to be changed. I got a check engine light on day 4 (about 200 miles of usage) of driving the car. The fault code had to do with low oil pressure. I drained the oil to find it low, extremely sludgy and black and with a partially collapsed cartridge oil filter. Not something one would expect to see after 200 miles of usage. The communication with this company has been terrible. They did not do what we had a written agreement to do and they led me on for several months like they were going to make things right. Very unprofessional.

We bought a used car from these people and its been a terrible experience. They tried charging us for an issue with the car that prevented the key fob from working. We scheduled an oil change days in advanced and five minutes before the appointment we were told that they had no idea what we were talking about. We bought a warranty through them to cover specific items and guess what? None of it is covered. Not one single gasket or seal. I would avoid this place if possible. Definitely stay away from their 3rd party warranty. The below response from the owner could not be further from the truth. We agreed on Automotion purchasing a second key before we closed on the deal. Furthermore, Motorwerks never had a chance to diagnose this car. All they said was the key was fine and the next step was to dig into the car. For days BMW, myself and my wife left messages with this place with no response. Eventually we gave Motorwerks their beautiful X5 back and we drove away with no diagnosis what so ever. The plot thickens. We couldnt get tabs for our car last month becuase Automotion decided not to process the title. Theyre answer was to issue us a 30 day tag. My wife is driving around in a car with expired tabs almost a year after purchase. This place is insane. Some advice: if you write a review here that is less than satisfactory you have to come back to read the response. The fictional damge control is laughable.

I decided to go out of my way to find anyplace that you can make a review on this company. I found a car on craigslist that I really liked. I contacted Steve about it and he was really informative. He told me he would get me pictures and would contact me. I spent the whole day trying to contact him because I was looking to buy that day. Finally at 11:00 pm at night I received pictures from him on the car with an apology. Said there was an issue with the locks that would be fixed right away in the morning. In the morning I tried to contact him with no answer. Then, I called the dealership and talked to his partner Jim or Tim. He gave me a thorough talk and then said he would get back to me right away. I waited and waited and waited. I then called back with no answer and left a message3 or 4 times. No answer from him or steve. I then contacted and got ahold of him through a different phone number instead of my own. Talked again and havent heard from them. This has been 3 days and I give up. I have never tried so hard to buy a car in my life from two people that just didnt care. There are a couple of reviews on here that state this same thing. Do yourself a favor and just buy the car from someone else. I would never recommend this organization to anyone. Frankly, I dont understand how they are still in business and pay their bills. STAY AWAY!

I took my 2010 ML350 Bluetec in because it had a check engine light that said we had a bad Adblue resevoir heating circuit. I checked the price for this work at Maplewood Mercedes, and also got on line pricing for the parts just for my own reference. Then I took it into Auto Motion to see if they could fix it for me. Tim said they could with no problem, and he assured me the bill would be fair. That all sounded great so we proceeded with the repair. They installed the new heater, gave me the old part back...I was curious to check it out myself...and presented me with the bill. This was all good news. The part was OEM Mercedes and at a "reasonable" price even compared to the internet pricing I did. Also the labor was reasonable...bottom line, I saved hundreds of dollars compared to what Mercedes would have charged me. Patrick, the MB mechanic used his MB computer to clear all the codes, and I am now driving with no check engine lights lit and the peace of mind that my car was carefully checked over and repaired. So I am a Happy Camper.
