This was my first experience using King Pin and will definitely be using them for all future car needs. I originally brought my car to nearby Exxon who wanted to charge me $1400 for a new throttle body. I called King Pin for another price estimate and the owner spent lots of time on the phone with me answering many questions. He told me that if I wanted to replace it with a new throttle body it would cost $700 with him or I could put in a used one which would cost a total of $150. Obviously I brought my car over to King Pin. After the owner did some research, he recommended going with a used part because of how little issues there seems to be with throttle bodys in Toyotas. $1250 less than I would have paid at Exxon! And the owner was so willing to spend as much time as needed to answer my questions, call around for parts, etc. I saw him take as much time with all of his customers. I cant recommend him highly enough!

AMAZING SERVICE. !ong story short, I had my rear bearing replaced at King Pin before I left to Virginia for work. After only 5 months, I heard a humming from the rear end again. One of the bearings had broke again. It had nothing to do with the installation or service received from King Pin, it was just faulty manufacturing of the bearings. I called King Pin and the owner himself said he would refund my service fee on the spot and the parts fee when he received the damaged bearings in the mail. Then, I felt I was about to be over charged at the new place in Virginia that I took it too and the owner called him up himself to see why it was so drastically different. After that I received a fair price. Again, amazing service.

I have had two vehicles serviced by King Pin for transmission work. They did great work at a super price both times. More importantly, my retired in laws brought their vehicle in for transmission repairs. They are retired and on a limited budget so they told King Pin to call them if it was going to be over $1500. King Pin called them back and told them the repairs were minor and they were good to go with just $40. I think its great that King Pin knew they could have taken advantage of the situation and "made up" some repairs knowing they had a $1500 green light. But as a testament to their integrity, they did only the repairs necessary to the tune of $40. The in laws were so relieved... AWESOME!!

I will refer as many people as I can to King Pin Transmission. The quality of service is beyond compare. Their commitment to exceeding the customers expectation is top of the line. I am very impressed with the friendliness and courteous service staff that worked on my vehicles. The timeliness of my service and repairs was perfect. I really appreciate the fact that the staff told me directly what was wrong with my car and what was required for repair. They did NOT try to talk me into unnecessary services or products like several other shops did. Great work! Great Staff! Reliable Service! Top quality in my book.

The transmission finally decided to go out on my girlfriends 2001 Yukon after 230,000 miles. I Google searched "best transmission shop" and Kingpin came up. I can see why this happened because they are great people with great service. I had them replace it at a fair price and was able to even pick it up on a Sunday! I usually do my own car work, but didnt have the time to do this myself. I just drove to Texas from Minnesota and back with no issues. Dont second guess yourself. Let them get the work done and be on your way. They will take care of you and your vehicle.

I brought my blazer in to have the clutch replaced. Now 15000 miles later the gasket between the rear housing and the transfer case started to leak. Kind of a simple task. Come to find out that half the bolts were loose. So seeing that, I looked at the bell housing bolt and a majority of them were loose and some were missing. Ive heard many good things about these guys. But my experience was not good.

Ive brought my familys vehicles to Curt and the crew at Kingpin for a number of years, and they consistently demonstrate integrity in terms of fixing only the things that need fixing. You never have to wonder if youre being gamed into a higher bill than is really necessary to get your car back on the road. Fair pricing, and a good crew of guys to work with.

I was having transmission problems and took my car to a different place that told me it would cost $1500.00 to just find out what the problem was. I went to King Pin Transmission and they were able to diagnose and fix my transmission for $500.00. Its been a about a year since then and my transmission has worked great ever since.

Kurt and his whole team are great! He gets the job done right for a very reasonable price. Very fast too! Does not try to sell you anything extra. They will tell you if something else is wrong but does not push you into anything. Will be going here and recommending Kingpin to everyone I know.
