The first time went to Brausen I was blown away by their customer service, their honesty (how upfront they were about everything, to my advantage), and their clear priority to give me the best, most affordable advice about my car. Yesterday I returned, and they not only made my funky schedule work last-minute (cheerfully, easily!!), they corrected some false information Id been given about my tires--to their disadvantage. Id been told by the people who changed my flat (no affiliated with Brausen) I couldnt drive on my spare tire for more than 50 miles, even though it was a full size. The guy who helped me showed me the capacity or whatever was the same as my other tires, so I didnt purchase anything from them at the time. Brausen keeps showing that we truly are their priority. I have never been to a car place that makes me so happy. Not having to worry about paying more than I should or being screwed over or scared into getting extra stuff is a HUGE relief. I just want a safe car to drive in, and I trust them whole-heartedly. They also have hot cocoa and give free car washes!! :D

Ive been coming to Brausen for 3+ years for oil changes. They used to do a decent job vacuuming the car as a complimentary service, but that has really dropped off. My check engine light came on, so I brought it in. They charged 119 just to do a diagnostic check and another "percentage" (15 bucks) shop fee for "materials" used. The service guy showed me a giant list of shop materials that could have been used, but couldnt tell me what materials were actually used. They then gave me a quote to do 4 spark plugs for $200 bucks. That seemed high to me based on my experience with changing spark plugs, so I did some calling around. It was 50 bucks more than Nelsons down the road quoted me and Nelsons said they wouldnt charge the bogus diagnostic fee. After being a loyal customer to Brausen for 3+ years, Im done going there to get nickel and dimed at every opportunity they get...

I brought my daughters car in she needed breaks and rotors, they called me with a quote of 396.00 , i said do it knowing she need them, my daughter didnt get payed till friday, car went in on Wednesday. Thursday i called around for quotes on her car at 3 shops near brausen hightest one was 320.00 . I called brausen asking why there repair was so much higher, i was told the work was done and why was i asking now. I just said we would be there on friday morning to pick up car. When we got there i asked again and was told the same thing why are you asking the job is already done. I didnt realize i want aloud to ask questions.. my daughter car grinds now when she turns right,,???

Honest repair shop, who goes out of their way for customer service as well. My first interaction with them was in an emergency when something came loose under my car. They were able to fix it quickly and sent me on my way with no charge. As a way to say thanks, I scheduled an oil change. Over the years, Ive had a few other major issues, and they have been straight-forward, but honest with what needed to be fixed. They were always willing to explain the problem in detail. From that first incident, to every other issue since, theyve gone out of their way to earn my repeat business. I dont know if they had any idea how valuable that free fix was going to be.

Brausen is the best repair shop in the area, and most of all they are 100% honest and upfront about every issue with your car. I have not brought my car/truck anywhere else in the last 10 years, and dont plan on that changing. Completely disagree with a couple of the other reviews on here, as every single time I have work done (other than an oil change), they call me to explain the issue and go over any charges before they proceed. Dave, Trevor, and Jake are extremely knowledgeable, and the work Brausen does is always solid. Sure, it may be a little more expensive than some random places, but you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend Brausen to anyone.

I had a great experience here. Was visiting from out of town and needed some quick work done. The manager was super nice and kept me informed on the progress while they were working. The shop was clean, and they had coffee, a cappuccino machine, magazines, and Wi-fi available for waiting customers. The service was quick, reasonably priced, and they provided me with very detailed information of everything they found and fixed. I was also surprised to be given a coupon for a free car wash at checkout, and they even left a "thank you" mint on the seat of the car. Overall, a great experience, which I feel can be difficult to find in automotive repair.

After reading good things, i decided to try out this place. Im a bethel student, so it was super convenient. They seemed to be great until they billed me. They wrote their estimate for over $250 more than the other places that i called around to. They also did work that i did not consent to. When i went to pick up my car and take it to the cheaper place, they began to talk down and trash talk the other auto shop. This was extremely unprofessional! The other shop did a great job for $700 vs the $960 that Brausen wanted. Id be sure to check your options.

Maybe Im a little naïve about car repairs, but when the rep told me they would take a look at my cars issue, I had NO IDEA it would be $119 diagnosis fee. After I got the repair estimate, I wish I would have had the freedom to check around a bit more without already being $119 in deep. So thats my only complaint. I wish that had been made clear to me ahead of time. Other than that, the professionalism of the personnel was great. Very friendly, helpful and explained things clearly to me. And the issue with my car is fixed, so Im glad about that.

Almost every company I’ve ever heard of talks about “customer service” as being on their list of priorities. However, for most companies this is nothing more than lip service, not with Brausen. I’ve dealt with Jake several times, and I continue to go back because of his commitment to customer service. I just had the coolant system on my vehicle go out. Not only did Jake (and Brausen) get my car fixed by the next morning, but Jake also helped me stack some coupons together to save a lot of money. It was definitely worth the trip.

claim they are qualified with European cars, when it is clear you are paying them to learn while they work on your car. Great with my ford but I would not bring my Audi back
