Ive been a customer of Skylark for years, the store is out of my way but Ive been satisfied with their service so I kept using them for my business casual work attire. I brought a suit in and when I finally wore it after the cleaning I found a tear in the leg. I was told by the cashier that they were recently training new people which could have been the cause. There was also no flag or note which indicated the torn pant leg (this is their procedure for when they notice a stain or damage which cannot be cleaned or fixed). They offered me a $60 in store credit for tearing the pant leg of my $400 suit which was less than two years old and in great condition. The reason they would not reimburse for more was because it had been so long since I had it cleaned (one year they said). I only wear the suit for special occasions which is why I had not noticed the tear and why prior to the cleaning it was in great condition. I didnt take their uncaring offer and Im not coming back. You be the judge..

Skylark acquired Martinizing of Eden Prairie--all staff and inventory and equipment was moved from Martinizing--the phone was disconnected (with no message). I had to go to the empty store to see a message about how to pick up my items (I never received a call or message despite the fact my items and phone and email were in the possession of the entity). I was told the price on some repair of items, and it was higher than I was quoted. I couldnt afford the repair, made an offer on the items, but never received an email back. Their care for their customers is clearly lower than average and I would not trust taking more business to them--not to mention their shirt-laundry prices are well above a reasonable price and higher than the average twin cities price. Disappointed.

Have taken many garments to Skylark from formal gowns to dress pants and even my white comforter. I highly recommend Skylark for their customer service and high quality of work. One time I had to take my comforter back due to a missed spot, but they took care of it within a week at no charge. They really care about doing a great job, and take good care of your items.

I have tried this dry cleaner for the last time. There staff miss leads customers about there garment repair capabilitiities. They are unapologetic and could care less when mistakes are made.
