Hello Bye
Im going to be honest and straight forward here. My very first time here I brought in a set of suit (wool/polyester), 1 lightweight dark cotton jacket, 2 pair of fancy cotton/polyester pants, 3 long sleeve french cuffed cotton shirt (the comfortable types). I walked in and the Cashier asked if i was a new or current customer, I told her I was new. She proceeded to give me the pricing and asked if I will continue to go with the service, I told her sure enough since after reading all these reviews and researching the business it seemed like an honest place that does quality work. So she went ahead and took down my info and signed me up then I started to sort my items to her telling her about the small light stains and spots on my shirts, and for her to concentrate on the sweat band and stains around the inside collar areas of my 3 shirts since those areas are the most important to me and creates an eyesore everytime I see it. then she asked if I wanted any of my items starched I told her to only have my set of suit starched lightly, she says shell make sure to note it and have it taken care of and gave me a date itll be ready for pickup. 2 days later I picked up my items, she brought up my items and I gave a quick look at them. I didnt really see any defects, and since I was in a hurry to pickup my child from school, I generous told her the items looked beautiful and paid for my service. Later when I got home and started to put away the items, to my surprise my lightweight jacket felt almost heavier than before (feels like a jacket youll pull out of the dryer that was not completely dried to your liking) I also spotted various odd white chalky stain around the jacket shells back, shoulder, waist, elbow areas and hand side pockets my guess is that it was starched at some time during the dry cleaning process, when I too had given instructions not to starch it! Of my 3 longsleeve shirts 2 were heat damaged at the collar neck areas that had heavy sweat stains where I specifically told it to have it cleaned.. not heat sorched to hell, there are fabric threads coming loose out of the seams, the manufacturer tags now looks faded not able to read the letters and prints, 1 of my shirts had heavy grease around both the cuffed wrist areas (which looked like cooking oil was used to spot clean that area instead of cleaning solvents) My other shirt had a orange spot stain on the left breast pocket I mentioned to have it removed and noted that to the cashier..but it was still there! didnt even looked like it was wet or cleaned with any cleaning solvent whatsoever. There were pet hairs everywhere on the jacket and shirts. So of this, the only items that I was partially happy to have come back cleaned to quality were my two pants and set of suit. More or less because of this first time experience I will never go back to doing business with this place again, ruined 3 of my perfectly nice longsleeve shirts that Id use for my job interviews, and department/board/client meetings. A nice winter jacket that my wife bought me I barely wore this winter season, now ruined in odd places with chalk and starch stains. My advice is if you not care about your clothes being destroyed then this is the place for you. If you care as much about your clothes as you care about your money then I say go elsewhere and do research, also be sure to make clear note of special areas that youd like your items cleaned and double/triple check it before paying for your service. Dont rely on online reviews, talk to regular customers and ask their input. Again Dont make mistakes like me. Im taking my business elsewhere

E & J cleaners__Avoid at all costs. Being nice and congenial is great, but doesnt help with severely damaged clothing. I do not recommend them at all, go somewhere else. Based on the yelp reviews, I brought various parts of 3, 3 piece womens Talbot s business suits in for cleaning prior to an interview and two more interviews in the following week. I was clear about not using high heat to press them since it produces a shiny effect on fabric. Only two pieces of the 5 that I brought in had spots, one very small spot on a skirt (smaller than a dime) and one with ketchup on a jacket sleeve. When I returned to pick up my clothing, I checked the pieces to see how they looked - thank God I did, before departing. All of the pieces looked like someone had poured a solution all over them in large amounts- at least a full quart or more. Even the young lady who waited on me was surprised to see the stains, as they were absolutely not there when I brought in my clothing. My $230 jackets and my $120 skirts - all with expensive alterations - are seriously and completely ruined. Replacement will be challenging and time consuming due to alterations. The cost to replace will be in excess of $1,000. All are quite new (less than 9 months) and since I reserve them only for important business events, rarely worn. Two of the jackets were barely used (less then 4 times each). They have re-run them several times so now they look like garage sale items, totally not wearable for business, and unacceptable. It turns out the solution poured on them, is dry cleaning solution. Someone poured it directly onto my clothes rather through the machines dispenser. And at the worst possible time - job interviews pending!! Well when I returned to pick up after they re-ran the clothes 4-5 times to remove the stains they caused - I found that they do not stand behind their services; so now I will have to go the legal route. The owner actually had the gall to tell me that it was impossible that it was from their service - when I told him the young lady that waited on me said the stains were not there when I brought them in, and the young man that waited on me said that the damage was from the machines - that it looked like the solution was not added through the dispenser, but poured on the clothes directly; he said, "Oh, they dont know anything about the process". The owner would only offer to pay for another dry cleaner to try to fix the damage. Having another dry cleaner redo them will not return the color of the jackets to the color they were, pre-E & J damage. Now the jackets look like old garage sale clothes. He smiled the whole time and said it was too bad it happened, but that he couldnt (wouldnt) do anything else. HORRIBLE QUALITY OF SERVICE - BUT WITH A SMILE! Dont go there.

This dry cleaner destroyed my best friends wedding dress. I was with her every step of the way when she bought this gown. She and her husband struggled to buy her this dress! I saw it the day it came back from the cleaner and I could not believe what this cleaner did to her dress. And then they lie to them saying they will fix it and dont follow through. This is disgusting. Do not use this cleaner...it looks like they do this all the time to their customers...Shame on you!!!
