Dishonest and extremely unhelpful! I purchased a car with run-flat tires that have a horrible ride, I actually thought it was a suspension issue so I took it to the Infiniti dealership and they looked over the suspension system for a few hours and then drove the car and determined the in-cabin feedback I was receiving was from the tires and they recommended I replace them with non-run flat tires. So I emailed Goodyear the tire manufacturer and explained the issue, they said to take it to a local authorized facility and they would replace my tires with a comparable that was not run-flat. The closest dealer was Youngstedts in Wayzata so I went there and spoke with Mark i believe, I left the car with them and they said that Goodyear was closed for the night but they would call the next day to determine next steps and what they wanted to do, didnt tell me anything about the inspection or problem, etc. The next day I emailed Goodyear just to ensure everything was ok and they told me yes, they said I could pick from any tire in their lineup and have them replaced for free. A couple hours later Mark calls me and tells me that they will not honor the warranty because I purchased the car used and the warranty didnt transfer. I said they knew that already and I would call them. I called Goodyear and told them what Youngstedts had told me and they said that was not the conversation they had and whether the car was new or used, it was provided certified preowned with new tires as OEM equipment so is definitely in deed covered, they said that the reason the case was closed was because Youngstedts called and told them there was no problem with the tires and it had a good ride. Now, Infiniti had already inspected the car and determined the the issue was the tires, and brought the print-out of Infiniti recommendation to replace the tires, and I honestly dont think Youngstedts even drove the car, if they did they certainly arent as familiar with the ride than the dealership Is!! So, not only did they get my warranty canceled that I had verified 2 hours prior but they called me and lied to me about the reason and said that Goodyear would not honor my warranty on a used car purchase. I dont think I have ever had a business flat-out lie to me and not take responsibility for their opinions and actions. This was my first experience with Youngstedts but I definitely will not be back, and will highly discourage people from using their service. I lost 1k that I will now have to pay out of my pocket because the car has a horrible ride with these tires. Horrible service. ***Update*** Thankfully Goodyear said I could have a second opinion, I went to Discount Tire and got all 4 tires replaced with their top of the line tires- cost me 284 because 2 of the tires were worn beyond 8/32nds, but couldnt recommend Discount Tire more and obviously the owner response is BS because I had it done by a shop that cares more about their customers.

My first encounter with this shop was in Nov. 16. I had a four wheel alignment and oil change performed. Upon picking up the vehicle I drove it home noticing that is was overtly "twitchy" at highway speeds and was very quick to change direction. I dismissed it, assuming I was being too critical. However, several weeks later the "darty" direction changes at highway speeds became an annoyance plus I was noticing feathering on the front tires indicating improper toe angles. I took the car in and explained the tire wear and the erratic handling and sure enough the car had a ton of negative toe. They took the car back in and fixed the toe. The front camber wasnt zeroed which irked me but It was "in the green" and I wasnt in the mood to argue. Anyway, that fixed the "darty" handling. Now the oil change. On a follow up oil change I performed "Ive done a majority of the oil changes on the car." I discovered they removed the seat the oil filter seals itself against "This is a cartridge type filter", and just popped the filter in. If you were an engineer or a real automotive technician youd see a problem before screwing the cap on. Essentially the oil filter is doing nothing and oil just passes around the filter rather than through the media. Awesome. So three months later they are 0-2. In all fairness I will say they handled my concerns well and took the car in promptly as they did before. They told me the oil jockey that did the oil change had been fired for other incidents. The car is currently in their shop awaiting a new oil filter cap/seat.

I brought my vehicle here a number of times, and occasionally took them up on suggested services. One of these services they charged me for a transfer case and differential fluid changes on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Since the fluid changes, my vehicle had been making a loud clunking noises as I came to a stop, and had been making howling noises as I drove down the road. I brought it in to the dealer, and they said that both my transfer case and rear differential were not only bone dry of fluid, but also destroyed. The repair cost me $2,880, and I was without my vehicle for a week. I called into Wayzata Tire & Auto, and they said they were sorry to hear about my problem, and that "[they] didnt actually do the fluid changes" but were willing to refund my money. They never did. Id be happy to help you find me in your system, whom do I speak with?

Car came out in worse shape then when I brought it in. Youngstedts is a great shop but not this location. I went in for a standard oil change and got a messed up interior, broken key and the tech felt he needed to try taking off the removable steering wheel for fun and touch all the bondo work on the car.he also needed to push every button/look around throughout the whole interior of the car for a standard oil change. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of care my vehicle got at this location. If you want respect of your property and your car taken care of dont drop it in wayzata go see Dan at Youngstedts Chanhassen

I have worked with this Youngstedts in their old Wayzata location and their new location. I have had all kinds of service done and had nothing but the best experience. I bought tires from them, had oil changes and routine maintenance performed as well as various other services. Everything they have done has been outstanding and priced more than fair. I bought 90,000 mile tires from them and they are just about up so I will be buying my new set from them as well. I would recommend them to everyone. Mark, Jim and everyone there are great to work with.

Called about having rubber top piece changed from 2 struts to 2 coilovers...wanted 3 tenths. of a hour per or. 20 minutes to take 1 strut apart and only rebuild 2 of 4.. hmm. $35 a part I was told...so hmm my 140 bucks. to put the rubber piece from the the strut on the coilover..Thats a price ripoff....cause I know it can be done faster..one hour twenty I can do that faster with hand tools...with air 20 or 3 tenths for all four....come on REALLY........
