Please do not go here to fix your tire. I went with my mom and daughter on a Saturday evening around 5:00 pm to fix a flat tire that had a small rock approximately the size of my pinkie fingernail wedged into the tread. I received a call about an hour later telling me that the hole was too big and that the tire couldnt be fixed, so did I want them to put a new tire on? I told them I wanted to take it elsewhere for a 2nd opinion. They told me not to worry about a receipt/invoice or any paperwork, because they had "taken care of it" and I didnt owe them anything. I brought it to another location the next day and was told that they had put on a small patch and that the tire could easily be fixed with a larger patch- which the second location did. So I called the manager at this location today to explain the situation and politely described the problem. I did not receive an apology. He admitted no fault and took no responsibility for what happened, and only repeated several times that they were not trying to rip me off, they probably just didnt know that there was a bigger patch available. I asked about paperwork for proof that Id been there and what they did- he said that there was a ticket for it and he could see it in the system. I called back asking him to send me a copy of the ticket. He then became angry and rude and refused to mail it to me. He told me it wasnt actually in the system because he had voided it, and that Id have to come in to get it. When I asked why he couldnt mail it, he said "weve spent all this time trying to fix your car for you and you havent even paid us, and now you want us to go out of the way to get a stamp and envelope and mail you this," like I should be grateful for the time they spent trying to rip me off. I was not going to complain or ask for anything or take this any further had I received a simple apology and acknowledgement of responsibility/wrong-doing, but instead I was berated by the manager.

Executive Summary: Theyll offer to do all sorts of work on your car, blowing their trust in the process. Wont stick to quoted price. Watch out for the "up-quote." Went in in February 2011 for new tires. Experience was pretty decent. But they mentioned my brakes would need some work and gave me a quote. Just returned June 2011, didnt pay the quote price. When asked why, "Oh, they didnt quote you for the brake flush. Youre really going to need that." Uh huh. Bottom line, I didnt pay what they said Id pay. Horrible. But why Ill never go back: the up sale. Really, all they need to say is, "That part doesnt look good, youll want to replace it. Youre supposed to." and suddenly your bill has doubled. They actually quoted me a $2,000 replacement of my struts, saying they need to be replaced every 50,000 miles. When I asked, "So, Im supposed to pay $2,000 every 50,000 miles?" I got an answer of, "Well, it will really help reduce the wear of your tires. Otherwise, youll have to pay $400 more frequently for new tires." But dont worry, theyll offer you the Tires Plus Card to help pay. Two stars because my tire purchasing in Feb 2011 was just fine. Felt great to get new tires back then, felt like I wasnt getting screwed. Flash forward to today, Ive just got a terrible taste in my mouth.

Not only did this location of Tires Plus completely waste my time, they were rude while they did it. I went in on two occassions to get quotes for a set of new tires. I scheduled the appointment and brought my car in. Two hours after drop off I was called and informed that they quoted me for the wrong type of car and the wrong size tires. The tires I wanted were not available for my vehicle and to get something comprable would be a lot more money. In addition it may take over a week to get the tires (had already been waiting several days) When I tried to work with Tires Plus on possible solutions, they were rude and not helpful. I asked one of the employees why he recommend a certain tire, what he could tell me about it and he simply replied with "this is my job. I just know". Apparently not sir, you didnt even know what TYPE of car I was driving....Better off going to Discount Tires for quality product AND service.

It wouldn't let me post a review without picking a star... I feel that It doesn't even deserve a star or rating of any sort because these people are scammers. They told me that the struts on my car were leaking and that it would cost $2000 to fix. I went straight to the dealership for a second opinion and they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. My father made the unfortunate decision of trusting these jerks, and they got away with it. They ALSO told him that his struts were leaking. Needless to say, this is a place to avoid. They will just scam you out of your hard-earned money and prey upon those that have a lot of trust for other people. SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY AND AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE A PLAGUE!

I brought my car in for an oil change last week, and after they completed the oil change one of the mechanics informed me that my Tie Rods were loose and they needed to be fixed immediately or my wheel could fall off. They said theyd be happy to do it for 375 dollars. For the most part Im pretty car illiterate so i believed him. However, my normal mechanic lives 150 miles away, and I was planning on going to my hometown that weekend so i had them look at it. So they looked at it and could find absolutely nothing wrong with my car. So if you like your money and dont know much about cars, I would stay away from these money hungry bastards!!!! Tires Plus will never get my business again

DO NOT GO TO THESE SCAMMERS!!!! THEY CHARGE YOU FOR WORK THAT THEY ONLY HALF PREFORM!!!!!!! I would give no stars if I could. This place charged me over $400 for services, just to have the same thing happen to me the next day. I went back in to get it checked and the person who helped me said, So, what do you want me to do about it? So rude! They told me they fixed everything, only to have problems not 10 mins later. Because of the horrible service I waited for 2 hours in freezing weather for a tow and brought it to the Tires Plus in Apple Valley (who were just as bad, see their review).

Was in a hurry to get to work and respectfully alerted the staff to this. Just needed my tire put back on the rim. Was there for over 2 hours. They died no sense of urgency and tried selling me other services, I kindly reminded them that Im not interested because Im in a hurry. Ill never come to this location again, Id rather walk the 27 miles to work. Staff was friendly, but unhelpful overall. Tires plus? More like tires minus!

I have had my oil changed at this Tires Plus. The service has been professional. Like any other business, they will try to up sell you on other services. So far, it has been per the manufactures recommendations. Some car services can be subjective. (Is the air filter dirty enough to replace, or can it wait another 3 months..., etc.) If it is a large expense for something in this grey area, get a second opinion.
