I moved from Bismarck, ND to Springfield, MO and needed a large storage place to put my entire household until the closing on my house went through. On the phone the manager was very pleasant, polite and helpful. But as soon as my wife signed the contract and paid the managers whole attitude changed. She and her husband live on the premises with their dogs and are the crabbiest, nastiest, rudest people I have ever met. They do not know how to talk with people. They scream and yell. We were moving out of our storage shed when the female half of the management team locked us out of the gate twice. Once she said we did not pay our rent (and she came over in person and made the same claim too) when we had paid for an additional week that we werent even going to use. Then she locked us out when we had our lunch and left our car blocking the alleyway. She said we had to keep it open for other customers. I understand that and dont disagree. But no one had come to us and asked us to move our car. Wo would have gladly done so. Her husband drove around all day Saturday in his golf cart and stopped by constantly to chew us out for something. We had two cars and two pickups of friends helping us move out. All of our friends and my wife are professionals. But we were treated like the worst white trash by these managers. Not once did they every approach us with a concern in a friendly manner. It was always angry, yelling and rude. We did block the alleyway at times but when another custormer came by we always moved our vehicles. When I confronted the female manager at the office to unlock the gate for us the 2nd time becuase she turned off my access code she was so snotty and even lied about receiving customer complaints. I cannot tell you enough how unpleasant these people were. I would never recommend to anyone to use this company even though the location is great, the rates are good and the security is very good. All of those pros do not make up for the cons of the horrible managers. DO NOT use this company no matter what. I garuantee you will regret it.

As the others it was awful and deserve zero stars. Due to records and lack of records I suspect the company stole or covered for those who stole from our unit. The rude old couple is now gone. I wonder why? That video surveillance to protect your things? It only lasts nine days and its deleted. Of course they fixed it really fast when we reported everything to the police. ****if you have a unit there check on your stuff! **** ours wasnt obvious at first and we thought we were forgetting getting rid of stuff until we found half of it gone. At first it was box here or there. Needless to say were researching to find a legit place to go.

I wish I could put zero stars ! I had an eleven oclock appointment this morning to rent a 10x12. I brought a years worth of cash in hand. I forty to plug in my diesel last night so I was running a little late. I called and informed them I would be late, they said no problem. When I got there they told me they would be able to see me in 2 days. I told them I needed the unit yesterday and was already upset about waiting one day. I told them now or never and they told me never. I cant believe they where so rude. If they are this difficult to sign an agreement with I can only imagine how hard it is to work with them on any real issues.

I had the exact same experience as poster below. I only dealt with the woman, but she seemed nice enough - until I handed her my money. It was strange, but exactly as the poster below said - her attitude changed immediately. She was rude and condensending. I waited until the end of my rental period and then called another company. We went with James River Storage, and the guy there is really nice. I literally moved all my stuff out of A1 to another storage facility just so I wouldnt have to pay this woman another dime. She doesnt deserve it. DONT GO NEAR THIS PLACE.

I have had the best exsprince here I dont know how people have had a bad exsprince but Ill i can say is the manger treats u with respect and in my dealings with I have had be honed awesome customer service because of the manger thanks so much for ur service I hope more people see it

I have had my stuff in storage here for over 3 years and I have not had the negative experience that others have posted. However, I think the $15 late fee is a bit excessive.
