I have been going to this Firestone ever since it opened and when my car was at 31,000 miles. Yesterday was my last time stepping foot through their doors. I drive a car that has a warranty until I hit 60,000 miles. I just hit 60,000 miles so my warranty was up. I went in for an oil change and was told I needed a premium tune up and some other fixings which was going to cost nearly $500. All of the things they told me I needed technically needed to be done at 30,000 miles, why they waited until I hit 60,000 miles is beyond me and dishonest in my opinion. It seems to me they wanted to wait until my warranty was up so they could charge me for all the work. I may not know a lot about cars and how they work but I know enough and I felt they were taking advantage of how naive I was because I was a girl. Beyond that, I only had them do an oil change but when I went to get into my car after the work was done my entire dashboard was reset. I drove to run some errands and after my first stop I went to turn my car abck on and my battery was dead. I called them because I havent had any issues until I took my car to them. They said they were sorry and could give me a number for a tow truck, but wouldnt pay for the tow truck so that was basically useless. Once I got it to another auto shop to go buy a battery the auto guy told me my battery post was loosened so it was not charging my car battery. This was one of my worst experiences at any Firestone Ive ever been too. The company lost a customer yesterday and I would advise any female car owner to take their business elsewhere be cayuse they will take advantage of your lack of information.

I dont know much about vehicles so I went to a place that I thought I could trust. I went to firestone 9 months ago to get full maintenance on my vehicle. I was told I needed breaks. After getting full service for my 2013 Kia, my car started making noises and a clicking on the front passenger side (I paid $800 for Full service). The first breaks they put on were ceramic then after me returning constantly because of the same issue they said they will substitute them for the non ceramic and that it will stop the noise. I took my car back 6 times between June and January and I was told that it was the way I was breaking that could be causing the squealing noise and the clicking noise and other times I was told that my breaks were probably dirty and they were going to clean them and polish the blue on my rotors. It is very hard to get that look like I have no idea what I am talking about. I took it to two different places to get a second opinion and I was told the rotors were blue and that they were never polished. I have full written proof of both places i took them. So after all this time I gave up and I had to pay another $300 to get the right breaks for my safety because I felt unsafe driving. After 9 months of worrying my car is running like new again. is a bit frustrating after calling their company and not hearing back from them in 3 weeks. I am expecting a call from the regional manager. best luck. I cannot be unfair I gave them two stars for trying to help, but I wouldnt go back.

Sketchy experience, probably wouldnt return to this Firestone. Ive used Firestone for several years in Chicago, every now and then something suspicious would pop up but for the most part they did a fine job of tire and oil changes for a decent price. So I was told my car needed a water pump/timing belt, new serpentine belts, and new front turn signal bulbs even though the bulbs (aftermarket LEDs) had simply fallen out and just needed to be reinstalled, which my old Firestone had done before as a courtesy. My drive belts had just been replaced by a highly reputable Acura dealer with brand new OEM Honda-spec belts just a few months earlier, showing no signs of dry rot or cracking, which they insisted they were and should be replaced. Given that faulty diagnosis, Im skeptical the car needs a new water pump/timing belt, which possibly not coincidentally happens to be one of the most expensive/profitable jobs for a car repair shop. Im a major gearhead and while I dont do all the work on my car, I know a lot about cars and all the work has been done by the same dealer so Im clear on exactly where the issues are with it. My instincts tell me this is a place to avoid, so bring your car there at your own risk.

I have car Nissan Altima 2003, had problem of fuel gauge went to 2880 S Durango Dr store. There service manager Jimmy Martin did diagnostics, said cluster monitor needs to be replaced. Charged totally after discount $392. But dash mileage went up 121k from original I had 103K after replacement and Trac light was on. He advised me to contact Nissan Dealer to reset both. Nissan Auto Dealer were surprised what fire stone did and they said its illegal to reset the dash mileage and there was no trac light option in my car and totally they replaced wrong part. which causing everything got stuck. To fix it I had to pay again to Nissan $640. Manager in Fire store was rude asked me to do what I can but he is not going to do anything.

They replaced my thermostat with 1 year warranty. Few months later I noticed some fluctuations, my temp went noticeable up, especially in the winter time. I went to the Firestone S Durango because the thermostat was still in warranty Then manager said these fluctuations are normal, and didnt change the thermostat. And few weeks later my car got almost overheated, I was traveling out of town. Went to different shop, replace the thermostat, and now I dont have any problems with my coolant temperature. I wont go in Firestone anymore, they dont honor their own warranties!

Since the last manager left this place has gone down hill FAST. Horrible rip off artists. Anytime you have a company that encourages their employees to write good reviews for them (yes you do, Ive overheard them talking about it and seriously just look at some of them) you will make dishonesty. They charge for services not even performed. I wouldnt doubt one bit that the upper management is in on it. What would make you change the entire staff? Was it because they were honest and didnt sell stuff that isnt needed?

This place is one of the best I have found! Staff is amazing from the manager down. I have taken my car here 4 times and never had a bad experience. One time I did return with a concern and they handled immediately and professionally. That is the true test to any great team not how you respond when things go perfectly but when they dont!! Anyone that doesnt 5 star or at the minimum 4 star this place I would take with a grain of salt because I have been here multiple times and couldnt be happier.

These guys are A+. I had low air pressure on my bike , and they hooked it up and when I asked if I can charge my phone, since my bus pass in on my phone , mechanic Troy gave me a portable charger free so I can catch the next bus , I am and will be bringing my car and my girls car her, it takes a certain kind of person to help a stranger out the way Troy did. If management gets wind of this comment please do something for that young man . Thank you
