I cant say enough great things about this place and their employees...our company has been renting a few units at this location for over 10 years and I personally have been coming to it for 6 years. I have been there at all hours/days and never felt unsafe! What can I say about the staff other than they are superb! They have always had employees that were great and the new guy, Gabriel is no exception but my go to guy is Roman. He is always there for whatever I needed, bends over backwards and has been so accommodating to our needs. He goes above and beyond at all times and really puts us, the customer first. I work for a Customer Service company and Roman always provides top service! He always has had patience with us with all of our activity but it always there to help us get what we need. I would always recommend this location to anyone because the service and facility is second to none…..The facility is always clean (including the bathroom) and well-lit at all times. Thank you Roman for continuing to be our superman!!

I just endured a disastrous move with a month gap between closings. Of the many service providers we encountered during this process, Roman, Corey, and Extra Storage Space was far and away the most positive experience we had. Both Roman and Corey are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I thought we were going to need two units to house our belongings, which grew to three, and eventually four after the POD we rented leaked and damaged many of our things. Roman and Corey helped us solve all of our issues and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our things in their very capable hands. The facility itself is very clean, accessible, and well lit, which was helpful. The prices are very reasonable relative to other local competitors, and we did a bunch of research. I would highly recommend anyone using this service as you will not be disappointed. I would absolutely use Extra Storage Space again, however after this grueling move, I will never move again. Thank you very much Roman and Corey!

I went in today to swap my current unit for a larger one. My experience was great and couldnt have been any easier. Roman who is one of the managers was able to quickly recognize that my current unit was ready to billed in the cycle and that I should move into the larger unit the same day to save on costs. After checking out the bigger unit I was completely satisfied with the space and quality of the facility. The facility is very clean and well lit. After Roman gave me my security code information I tested it out and it worked the first time. I then moved my stuff into the new unit, shut the door on the old one and was all set. 5 stars for a fast friendly and great service.

We downsized with a plan to relocate a few years later and Extra Space filled all of our needs. We stayed here for four years and were always happy with the place. When it became time to vacate, we were able to do a short-term rental that allowed us to organize our three 10x10s into two groups - one group for the new home and another for another location. The guys were really accommodating and it made a difference for us. The facility has a few elevators; one is a large freight lift for moving companies. There are two drive up bays as well. Security is good and we never had a concern. They sell boxes, tape, blankets and stuff.

I had been searching for a storage unit for awhile that fit my budget and my needs. When I found Hampshire Self Storage in Berkeley Heights I knew right away it was perfect! The building was always kept extremely clean (and even smelled nice) and was also at a comfortable temperature. Even though my unit was on the second floor, it was extremely easy to access. The elevators are very large and accommodating. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful! They were always very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend Hampshire Self Storage as the price is extremely reasonable, especially for such a great facility.

We could not ask for more careful and personal service. The facility is always clean and nice, and there are plenty of carts around to move the stuff in and out. But best of all, the managers there are paying attention all the time to the facility and to their customers possesions. One day they called me to tell me to come back because when my husband was there he had locked the storage space but that it was not really properly locked and it could be easily opened. Whenever I have needed any assistance they treat me like a friend as opposed to just a customer.

The first indication was the front office. Clean and neat and two people to help us and suggest the best solution to our moving/storage problems. We were shown the unit which was easy to get to. The hallways were well lighted and the elevators were smooth and easy. Dropping off or picking up was easy and several doors were available for easy access and egress. Although I didnt see inside any units but mine, everything was clean, neat and well cared for.. No problems were encountered and I would recommend this to anyone.

This facility is great. It’s clean and it’s big. Very good access hours and plenty of wagons to move your items on. There are a lot of security cameras and the lighting is very good. I feel safe here. The staff is very knowledgeable and they went the extra mile to make my storage move a good experience. Although it was busy in the office, they took the time to show me the place and explain how everything works. I am very happy here and have recommended this Extra Space Storage place to my family and friends.

I want to thank Roman, the store manager for showing outstanding customer service today. He went above and beyond when I locked my keys in my car in the bay. My phone, keys and everything was locked inside my car. He drove me to get my spare keys and back to my car. I was about to call a cab, when he volunteered to take me to get my keys. This type of customer service is rare in our society and I appreciated it. Not only is this facility clean and modern, but the manager knows about good customer service.

Great place to store your Items. They have a terrific management team. You couldnt ask for a better location to store your stuff. Nice facility in a suburban location. Dont have to fight with Route 22 traffic. I have been storing there for nearly a year. Clean, easy access, excellent hours, and climate controlled. I suffered the loss of a parent, and they were very understanding. They suggested a terrific moving company and made the move of my parents possessions into storage a stress free experience.

Wonderful staff! They are friendly and helpful. When I requested a size upgrade, they came to me as a priority the moment a unit opened. Its in a safe area that I feel comfortable being in at any time during the day to access what I need. I highly recommend these guys! Update 12/5/2015: I recently moved away from the area, and I am in the process of moving out of Extra Space Storage. They could not be more helpful and accessible. I recommend them to anyone in the Berkeley Heights area.
