I have been a customer for approximately 8 months. Not very satisfied. Here is why: 1. Three garage bay doors, many times an employee has one of them occupied by personal vehicle. 2. One of the bay doors has been broken for over 2 months limiting access. 3. Attempted access to my unit on a Sunday and found elevators were locked off. Had to use the stairs. However, the door to the lower level was locked. No access to my unit. 4. I was just given 1 months notice that my rental rate is going up just over 10% and I havent been in there a year yet! 5. I have a lower level unit which I was told is climate controlled. However, many times it is very cold down there and damp. (Boxes beginning to have an musty smell.) 6. I have automatic payment, so they get money on the first of every month. However, they do not have automatic receipts. I have to request it by email every month. So far this month I have requested it twice and still not received it. I have stayed here because of closeness to my home. May be time to rethink this. Consider all this before renting here.

No matter how far away I move, I will always happily and comfortably choose to use Extra Space Storage—and the Riverdale location in particular, all due to the unforgettable hospitality put forth by Bob and Nina. These folks dont just work a job, theyre family... and they treat you like theirs.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. Louis is a wonderful resource for any of your needs. However, the fees are outrageously high and creep up over a very short period of time. I started at $115 3 years ago, almost to the month. Now, I am at $215. Ridiculous rates! No answer when call is placed to District Manager to inquire how rent can go up so much in such a short period of time. Facility has not had any makeovers, the bay doors were shut down for months before repair - nothing would validate a $100 price increase. Nothing, except incredibly poor business practices.

As I first time renter, it was truly a great experience. Staff: Nina is just amazing. I was hand held from the tip to toe of renting a storage space. Always greated with a smile and warmth. Never I saw the smile fade away. Nina was able to answer any question without hesitation. Nina always goes that extra mile.Without any doubt, I would highly recommend this facility, even if you have travel an additional 5 miles. Facility : Exceptionally clean, very well maintained. Easy accessbility. Conveient location. All the best to both Nina. You rock and keep up the good work.

Very clean facility. Well maintained. Manager, Nina, is very friendly, professional and accommodating. She makes sure she finds the best possible deal to make it affordable for the customer such as myself who is on a tight budget. She is also very knowledgeable and has outstanding customer service both in pwrson and via telephone. I recommend this facility to my friends and families because she takes pride in her work and make sure we leave with a smile each visit and experience with her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

After years of accumulation and a house running low on space it was finally time to look into a storage unit. I was skeptical at first but as soon as Bob started the tour my concerns faded away. The level of security and cleanliness was top notch. Bob definitely earned my business with his personable sales style and demeanor. I highly recommend checking this place out if youre in the market for some extra space.

Luis Diaz -Store Manager is polite, helpful, pleasant. He is asset to this company and should be appreciated. This is the third company to take over this storage unit. Unfortunately, I am not happy with the new management company, I am paying for a temperature controlled unit which not be tempered controlled and they just increased the prices again. So I give the Luis 5 stars but Extra Space Storage 1 star

We just signed up for a storage unit this morning. Louis was so helpful, knowledgeable and got us through the paperwork in good time. He knows all of the rules and explained them well! (He also has a great sense of humor...that means he got MY sense of humor!;-)) My husband was surprised at how extremely clean the place is! It was a great experience and I am sure this will work out well for us.

I have had my storage space for about a couple months now and am so happy! Nina is nothing but helpful and friendly! She answered all of my questions and assured me that the facility is secure, has convenient hours, and staff is there to assist me if I need it! I couldnt be happier with my experience here! This was my first experience using a storage facility. I was very pleased with the whole place. Jordan was especially helpful when I needed an additional unit on my moving day, and he made sure I was able to get what I needed. He was very courteous and professional and went above and beyond to help me on an otherwise pretty stressful day!

I had two storage units at this place for several moths while I was coordinating my house move. Both Louis and Bob were super helpful, concerned and always pleasant. The facility in very clean and well lit, the hours are convenient. It was a great experience from start to finish.
