This has been by far the worst storage unit I have ever used. I use this for work and have been to several others in the tri-state area. I dont even know where to begin. The first little thing that bothers me is that you have to get out of your car to enter the code to get into and out of the unit. Then you have to enter your code again to get inside the building. Inside the units there are no lights so you cannot see what you are doing. It makes it very difficult to move stuff around or find anything even when the unit is so organized. You just cant see anything. The bathrooms are awful! It is so gross. Theres never any toilet paper, soap, or paper towels. It smells horribly in there and the trash is never emptied. I have to drive two hours to this unit and rather hold it then use the restroom there. There are three carts that are stored in the main building. When I arrive sometimes they are not there. No one puts them back at the end of the day which seems like a simple task to me. And lastly it has snowed twice this past couple of months. The first snowfall was not too bad but there was still snow that needed to be plowed and salted. They didnt plow nor salt and it was so icy. We just had a huge snowstorm and I had to go to the unit. They did the most horrible plow job I have ever seen. There was still snow on the ground and it was covered in ice. They didnt even salt! I slipped seven times and I finally fell on my way out trying to enter the damn code to get out of the facility. I have reached out to management several times. This is completely unacceptable for being a corporation.

My Experiance At Public Storage... One of Ruths most important skills is her ability to effective communicate to a Customer, Over the past several times I came to Public Storage,I have witness this ability, and I feel this can been very useful for any company and can helped alleviate any kind of problems which I think can come up with a customer. Ruth has also demonstrated a willingness to work with a customer and provided an excellent example of how cooperation can yield results. Ruth has consistently gone above and beyond her job to satsify me as a customer. Also, Ruth demonstrates how excellent customer service can have a lasting effect on customer relationships. Again, Ruth’s attention to customer satisfaction did not go unnoticed by me. Ruth will work with a customers until their problems are resolved and goes an extra step to help upset customers, I was completely surprised, by how far she will go to satisfy a customer. Ruth, is a empathetic listener and makes each customer know she values their time. Ruth is clearly a “people” person and shows her customers, how much she likes to help them. Ruth is also in my opinion, is the type of person, that is a hard worker and doesnt mind getting her hands dirty. The whole staff is pleasant, courteous, but Ruth really stuck out...in my eyes, Public Storage is also, very ,very clean , everytime I visited there., most other storage places I have dealt with , were not as clean, and the staff did not have a willness to help. thank you

Avoid at all costs. The ONLY reason this place has above a 1 star is that the leasing agents beg customers to give them 5 stars online. This location is taught to lie to customers and the supervisor, Nicole, is the least helpful person that has even been involved in customer service. How Public Storage, as a company, encourages their customer-last policies is mindblowing. When I originally signed my lease, I was informed by the leasing agent, Jordan, that when the time came to move out PS grants a 5 day grace period from the beginning of the month. Come time to move out on the 3rd and the manager, Brittany, slips a receipt of the cracked front door for a full months rent- hoping I would not notice and just leave. When I asked about the grace period, she says, "oh that was a courteousy that we used to give but dont anymore." So a policy that was present when I signed up but was terminated during my rental period without my knowledge isnt honored...? Confusing at best. Nicole, the supervisor, refuses to help. She would rather spit policy at you than have a normal conversation where she acknowledges the flaws in her companys policy and works with the customer to make the situation right. Abolsutely terrible from top to bottom. Avoid Avoid Avoid

November 2013: Ryan M was extremely helpful today when I went in and complained, for probably the 5th time, that the bathroom is not working. Ryan explained that he was not the property manager, but I have called the property manager 3 times and he promised that it would be repaired about 3-4 weeks ago. It has now been at least 6 or 7 weeks since the facility has had a working bathroom..which means, you do not want to go there for too long. Their gate was not working for weeks, but today it was working again. This is NO reflection on Ryan, as he was great, but Travis Bassi is extremely unaccountable and unresponsive. October 2013: Seynabau was extremely helpful yesterday when I needed guidance on a second storeroom. She understood my need and found a space directly across the aisle from my current space. When I explained that I was sorting through my moms things in the new space, as she recently passed away, Seynabau empathized with me and it was so comforting. She is the best! Only thing I wish -- wish it would open earlier in the morning such as 5:00 a.m. Debi

Mountainside Public Storage Manager Seynabau was most kind, courteous and helpful. She was thorough in her explanation about the facility. She showed me several units before deciding on which unit was the best one for my needs. She was really helpful with the required paperwork. She also explained and showed me the security system. She not only told me about areas of the facility, she took the time to show me. One of my items that I waas storing broke in transit, Seynabau actually walked me to the dumpster to show me where I could discard the damaged item. She was awesome. My only criticism is the price. Public Storage is a competitive price but the cost adds up on an annual basis. I know my belongings will be safe until I reunite with them. That peace of mind is valuable. Three cheers for Seynabau

I came to Public Storage Saturday in search for storage. Being that I do not have much experience with storage I definitely need as much help as I could possibly get. Luckily, EdDayshia was in the rental office willing to help me! In order for her to determine the right size unit for me she went over what I was storing. After doing that, she showed me the unit that best fit my needs. Another major plus, on top of EdDayshia out of this world customer service, was the property was super clean! Once back at the office she showed me the merchandise I needed and went over the rental agreement. She made renting storing so much fun and insured me that if I have any questions or concerns to contact her. So far so good! Thank you EdDayshia and thank you Public Storage!
