I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. The service wasnt rushed nor did it come off as an act. I had a couple of things to throw away in the dumpster located outside of the security fence and not only did the very kind young lady ask if I needed help, she waited for me to go back up to my unit and grab the last few things I needed to throw out. I initially went there to clean and close out my existing unit and move my things into a bigger unit, Im sure you know how stressful this is not to mention I was with my wife and 2 daughters both under 2 years old, my experience was nothing short of perfect. I wish I knew the young lady that was above and beyond helpful, but she has dreads and a very easy going personality about her. There was also another very nice young lady inside of the office and even though we didnt have any extended conversation she was all smiles and exactly what any consumer should expect with regards to customer service. Nowadays money is tight for most people, and the cost of storage units arent getting any cheaper but when I receive the level of "GENUINE" customer service my family received it makes it all worth it. I have had a storage unit at your Parsippany Facility since 2007. I have never had problems with any of the staff or my unit. I have always felt very comfortable and secure that my property stored there is safe and sound. And it has been. I recently inquried about renting a second bigger outside unit, while maintaining my existing unit. That is when I met the new Manager Piya. She said that one may be opening up soon and would keep me updated. True to her word, Piya contacted me when she was sure the unit was available. I inspected the unit with Piya and accepted the terms. The previous unit occupent has left it very dirty. Piya would not let me take the unit until she personally cleaned it to her own high standards. I told her that it was fine, but she insisted that it was nice and clean for me. Piya and her Assistant Jennifer worked diligently to scrub and clean the unit. They even repaired the weather stripping on the bottom of the door. The unit is clean as a whistle now. I believe Piya and went above and beyond to make sure that I am a satisfied customer. And I really am. Both Piya and Jennifer are true assets to Extra Space. Extra Space Storage in Parsippany, NJ is the best storage facility in town!!! I have been a customer of this facility since Summer 2009 (i.e. over 6 years) and they have provided me with great customer service from day one. Very courteous and friendly staff who go above and beyond, to make you feel at home. Even in times of financial challenges, they always listened to my concerns and worked things out with me and that is one thing I truly appreciate. I need space for my baby stuffs for a few months during the renovation to welcome our little one. This is my first time using storage, this location is perfect for us and this building is very clean. I like that they have moving carts at every door, it helps a lot when youre moving. The customer service they gave was also great. Its nice to see happy smiling helpful employees. We feel comfortable and happy here.

My family and I are repeat customers here and with Extra Space in general. Each time the staff has been very helpful and thorough in finding the most appropriate deal and space for our needs. On my latest rentals, Ive worked with both Piya and Betsy....signing up was quick and always a friendly face to greet you and explain things. I would definitely recommend Extra Space and this location in particular.

Piya Leeprasert is a very cordial and helpful manager that I have ever dealt with. I have used the storage place for about 20 years and she is the best one ever. She deserve a lot of recognition and could be a good candidate for promotion. Too bad that I have to terminate my contract with the facility for I will be moving to Vegas soon. The good: Nice, clean, safe, helpful & friendly staff. The so-so: Gate is very slow (perhaps for safety), the storage units could use a light (hallways however are well lit) The not good: Price unexpectedly increased significantly (15-20%) after a couple of months. Some other firms in the industry also do this - be sure to ask / be aware of this.

We are always happy to come back year after year as their service is exceptional; their facility is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained; and the location is so convenient. This storage facility is super neat and clean the staff here are extremely nice "BETSY" the girl who helped us out had the best customer service charisma ever and she helped us make the right Choice by choosing this location. Catherine was very helpful, she provided me with excellent service. What really impressed me about her was her knowledge, when I asked a question she had an immediate response and was very thorough and asked if I understood. The facility itself was clean, nice and tidy. I would 100% recommend this storage place to anyone.

Loved the building and it was wonderful experience dealing with Piya . She greeted with smile and offered extra help to open the storage room and door when the movers come in . Piya is very knowledgeable and advised me the suitable storage space for my stuff . I would definitely recommend this location.

Piya is an excellent manager. She greets me with a smiling face everytime I come in. She was very helpful the first I came in. This is the first time Im using a storage place and Im glad I chose this one because it is very clean, and secured.

Yes yes yes, great customer service! Ive been storing here for years and love it. The girls who work here are oh so friendly and make sure the property is clean. It would be nice if the price was lower! Other than that,5 stars for them!!
