My fiance and I needed a rental space for a few months while moving from one apartment to another. I researched prices of various rental space factilities and found Extra Space Storage (and particularly this Edison location) to be the best. We were given a tour of the facility by a very nice, helpful man who runs the place (and lives on site) and shown different rental space sizes to help us decide. When we told him we would only need the rental space for about two months, he suggested a larger space that had the first two months free. All we paid was a small initial move-in fee and two months of insurance. Before our two months were up, we moved out, hassle free. VERY affordable, clean, friendly, and safe. I would highly recommend.

I have relocated from San Diego and I have used Storage facilities many times but I must say I was very impressed with Extra Space Storage at this location. What impressed me the most was how well the three young ladies work together at the storage office and their knowledge, efficiency and the cleanliness of the place. I was so impressed at how well run, how organized they appeared. Courteousness and their level of being professional is unmatched to anywhere else Ive ever been. These young women will certainly go far I was so impressed. I believe their names were Gabby Seni and Tina. Kudos to whoever put this Dynamic Trio together

I chose this storage location based on price--it had the best deal I could find locally on a basic 5x5 unit. My unit is not climate controlled and is up one flight of stairs (which is probably why its so economical). I am mostly storing books, which I have sealed in plastic zipper bags inside larger plastic bins--I would recommend this practice to anyone who does not want to pay for a climate-controlled unit. The storage facility is a bit hard to find, which is annoying when youre paying for mileage in a U-Haul, but I havent had any problems with it other than that. The staff member I spoke to was courteous and informative.

I walked in to rent a small unit as there was a sign in front of the facility that said "First Month Free." Dont believe it. It doesnt apply to all units. The attendant was very professional. I thought the small unit was very pricey but I rented it anyway as I had no time to look around and I only need it for a short time. Unfortunately, there is no elevator so if you have heavy furniture, etc. prepare yourselves to walk up the steps.

Im new to the area and staying with a friend until I can find a place of my own and get on my feet. After shopping around I selected the ES in Edison. The price was great, they had just enough space I needed and they didnt try to jerk me around like the other places did. The girl at the front desk was a sweet heart and sold me on this location. I def will recommend ES to my friends if they ask.

Facility is clean, storage room/space was also clean when I rented. No trouble of leak in the room/space. Only once I saw rat catchers in the isle of my space but nothing damaged. Only once the main gate was locked after 6 on Sunday, at that moment there is no customer service available. I rent for my personal use and I am satisfied with the location, cleanliness, service and price.

This was the first time I ever needed to use a unit to storage my personal items. I was so lost with what to do but the Customer Service I received from Daniela was amazing. She took care of me very well by showing me exactly what I needed to do & answered all my questions. Ill definitely recommend this place to my friends.

I recently moved out of my apartment and needed put a lot of my belongings in storage, as I am downsizing to a much smaller place. I chose Extra Space in Edison because it was convenient, close to the parkway, and not far from where I am currently staying. The facility is clean, and the staff is super helpful.

This is a really convenient location and very close to the train station for quick stops on my commute (its open until 10...so helpful). The people who run it are super friendly and they keep the place really clean. Honestly, Ive got no complaints after six months, and I cant think of a better recommendation.

On my sign up and move in date, Tina was exceptional helpful. Detail explanation of the service. Thereafter, Tina and Seny have been great. They have excellent customer service relationships. The storage premise is always clean. I will recommend this location to anyone in need of storage space.

Prior on-site manager was much more attentive and willing to help that current on-site manager. Current on-site manager, even after several years of renting two units, will not combine the 2 units being rented to be paid on the same date even though the dates for each are 3 days apart.

I went to Edison, NJ location and had a great customer friendly experience. The representative that assisted me was Mr. V. Arrieta and I would highly recommend anyone to this location because of the friendliness and prompt service. Plus the gate hours are also customer friendly.

Nice&Clean, had a recent make over including a face lift on the office building and new roll up doors installed with cylinder locks. Only downside is after years of being there they have raised my monthly payment too much and it is now to find another place that is cheaper!

Horrible staff, and unfair corporate policies. They will try to overcharge and will not prorate. You are better off with a locally owned business with good security...Or better yet throw that crap out and avoid these money sinks at all costs

My husband is using a locker here for his files. It is within walking distance. There was different prices for the lockers and more money is needed to be on the ground floor. I do not like that there is no lightbulbs in the lockers.

My brother and I have a garage here. Its close to the house and we can still go when the office closes so thats good. They didn;t really plow a lot so I had to shovel by my door but theyre nice and helped.
