This storage facility is clean, safe, secure, and generally accessible. The grounds and buildings are clean and free of debris, although in the building housing my locker I have noticed an that an old dresser has been left along one of the walls for the past 2 months, and I keep forgetting to mention it to the management. The area is very safe. Behind the facility is a retirement community, and there are no other nearby businesses or residences with excessive people and traffic. The hours for entry are very reasonable ranging from about 6am to 10pm. The staff is friendly and helpful, although there have been a few occassions when I questioned a sign-up or transfer fee, and they simply shrugged their shoulders and passed the blame on to the computer. What I find unreasonable are fees. There is a fee to initially obtain a locker. If you later want to transfer to another locker then theres a fee for that too. These fees are usually explained as administration fees. The staff is already being paid a wage, and these book-keeping tasks shouldnt cost extra. Many times, I have seen that the staff isnt busy at all. Understand the little details in the promotions. I responded to a promotion for a free lock. The catch was that 3 months of insurance was required. This essentially paid for the lock.

I was able to get a good deal on my 10 X 10 unit. Not only was it a good deal but it has easy access from major roads, the gate is always closed to prevent others who do not belong there from coming in and not like other places that keep the gate open to save on electric and allowing unknowns to enter the storage facility. I was really impressed to find out that 2nd floor units have elevators. With flat hand carts that are easily available for moving heavy stuff. Oh, and the staff is not stressed out like in other places I have stored. At this time, the hours of operation are suitable for me. So far, it is an all around best deal that I have found.

Hi, I had rented the small storage for 24 dollar a mont the size was 6X6. I think it totaly worth it, if you need to store you stuff from time to time, that would be the best option. I shopped alot online, compared prices, it was the best i found. the man who did the reservation for me online told me that the didnt see that price in long time. The secret is that u choose a less populated location, it will be far from ur place, but u save more than 50 percent per month. The staff was not very friendly, which i dont care, but the price, easy 24 hour access and everythugn else was the best ever, good luck with your storage. Customer

Economical and great access! I got an excellent deal on my 10 X 10 unit. I have rented it since March 2011 and will continue to remain there as long as possible. The best part is the easy access from the highway. The main gate is always closed to prevent people who do not belong there from coming in. I was really impressed to find out that the 2nd floor units have elevators. They also have plenty of flat hand carts that are easily available near the elevators for moving heavy stuff. It has been the best deal that I have found this year and after considering many options, I settled my personal stuff here. Thumbs up to this location!

Ive used Extra Space Storage for at least 4 years that I can remember, and have got no complaints so far. I am a pack rat so I rented a small storage unit, and just went up from there, as months and years went by accumulating junk. They always have units available for their customers - no matter if its a wee bit of space, to a garage and then some. Staff is available for inquiries, helpful and keep the usual hours. Site is right across Jose Tejas, and comes after a jesus store and a senior living apartment complex off route 1. I used to live in Woodbridge, so it was pretty convenient spot all in all.

Recently I was looking into getting a storage and being a past customer I choose Extra Space Storage. Ms. Gaby the attendant who help me made the process getting a storage quick and easy. Just in moments as I walked in she was already expecting me and prepared to show me the storage that I reserved for. There are no lights inside the rental units within the ISELIN, NJ facility which is a big drawback. They need to install lights in the unit and not just in the hallway. Another problem is that there is a step in the hallway which leads from elevator to my unit so all the dolleys and people moving the items have to watch out for. This step is a hazard and also impedes the quick movement of items from elevator to the unit.

My experience with Extra Space Storage was great! I was able to get a unit that fits my needs the same day as I called.Met w Edwin at the Iselin location, he was extremely helpful & nice.I got a awesome drive up unit right in the front of the facility.Paperwork was a breeze & the pricing was very good.I would recommend using this place, its made our lives a lot easier.Thx Christine

Overall good facility, but upon moving out, I was told that I am all set, and I still got charged for another month 3 days later. When asking if I can get a receipt for moving out, I was told they dont do receipts. Upon calling them, they said they will void and refund the transaction, but still very frustrating as its my time wasted.

This is my first time using a storage space and Mr. Stockman, the manage, made my experience super easy and fast. I got the exact space I asked for during my internet search. He walked me through the steps from beginning to end and made sure my possessions were taken care of. I recommend Extra Storage Space to all first time users.

Wow, what a great place!!! FRIENDLY! Wonderful! Outstanding! I recommend Ken and his office to anyone. Absolutely a great place. We are schedule for another location but due to that other locations attitude problem and their unwillingness and unprofessional-ism we went to Islin. So glad we did. "Good things come to those who wait".

I found ESS online and reserved a unit. Ida called for a follow up not even a minute later. She was very helpful, answered all our questions, and even showed us the different size units available helping immensely with our decision. Would definitely recommend. Location seems secure and easy to get to; would definitely recommend.

This storage facility is a great place to get a storage unit. Ken the manager and Gabby the assistant manager are both great people to deal with. They go over every thing you need to know about renting a storage unit. Including every detail about my monthly fees.
