DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! They say you need work that is not required. My wife went to Midas because her brakes were squeaking and they said she needed all new pads and rotors on all 4 wheels at a cost of $1200. I did the work myself and it was only $220 in parts and 2 hours in labor. While changing the front pads, I found that they did not need to be replaced and were 0.18" remaining pad. Since NJ does not have a state minimum requirement brake pad thickness, I looked up PAs and it is 0.0625", so her pad had 3 times the life left on it. I went to the store and asked the Manager, Keith Rubin, why they said she needed new brake pads and rotors and he claimed it was a state requirement, which is not true. He then claimed the pads need to be replaced when they are below 0.236", which is the beginning of the yellow rating on most brake charts, which is also not true. Long story short, do not trust this shop. They take advantage of people and tell you work is required when it is not.

NOT RECOMMENDED. I did read the reviews and warnings but decided to give it a chance. I changed oil only, ok and all, but on the third visit they offended me bad. Guy was in a terrible mood, very aggressive and intimidating. After the oil change he comes out saying i need to change some parts and tires, and I might be dumb regarding cars but Im not stupid to know those parts dont need change til after 60k miles at least and my car is 35k now. I saw how mad they got when i rejected the repair, making me feel i did something horrible. Never going back even if my car is dying.

Do not go to this place. They say something and do something else. I literally called for an appointment for oil change and the response was - "come over and well get you out in 45 min to 1 hr". When I came there I was told that no option but to drop the car and I can pick the car back in 4-5 hours. If they just told me the same on phone I will never even go there!!

Not too thrilled with this location. They recommend work that really does not need to be done. I asked for a tire rotation and they only rotated the tires on one side. I went back to get it corrected, and had to go back a 3rd time since they were "busy". Went in for engine sensor change and came out with my tailpipe swinging.

Terrible customer service. I call the store to set up an appt. I arrive and wait a few min to be helped. An hour later my car still hasnt been serviced. I ask for a time estimate and I guess the Mgr says he has a full garage and a few more minutes. I leave to jiffy lube and get immediate better service. Be warned.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They worked on my mustang and did a grwat job. Good prices and fit me in last minute. On guy even stayed after closing to finish my car up that day. Since the new management took over I highly recommend getting your car needs at Midas in Hamilton Square!

Brought truck to another shop to get breaks done. They said I need rotors done. My rotors were only a year old. I knew that wasnt right. Brought them to Midas and they did breaks for half and I was right, didnt need rotors. Staff was great. Great experience.
