First off let me say weve taken our car there about three times for oil changes no problem. Last Time the oil light came on about 3 miles after an oil change so we took it back in and they decided the filter needed to be replaced as well so they did so no charge. Well within 2 months the light came on again. I called and explained, and the indian front desk manager said there was no record of the filter being replaced or the previous oil change. Ok so nobody wrote anything down. Great. I ask for an appointment for it to be seen at 2pm. No problem I walk in at 2:01p, 4 month old infant in hand, and there is no one in the office. I wait 15 min. No one. I call, and eventually my call gets transferred to the back where a mechanic picks up and I ask if theres anybody working up front. Oh he went to lunch. Ok so I guess appointment times dont mean anything here. 2:40 the front desk guy comes back in and I told him Ive been there since 2, and had an appt. Yea he doesnt care and tells me to check the sticker for the last time there was an oil change. Ummm Im not an idiot it just must not have been typed into the system when my husband took it in last time cause they did the service for free. Ok so I decide to humor him and walk out, with baby, to check the sticker. Took me 2 minutes. In that time a woman and her daughter walk up to the desk and when I get back in there shes asking if she can have her car looked at. Manager says sure she gives him keys. I walk up and say the sticker doesnt reflect the most recent oil change and I ask if it can be looked at. He says sure but itll be about an hour before it can be seen. Cause the other lady is now ahead of me in the queue. Are you kidding me?!?!? Ive been there an hour now waiting on this guy, with a 4 month old, past my appointment time and you took another customer because I walked out for 2 min????? I am never going back to this place there have been too many "iffy" encounters here and the blatant rudeness of this manager is astonishing.

Ive had a few annoying situations with this place (some days I go in for an oil change & they turn me away because theyre too busy) and last time I requested the better oil change package, they didnt even put air in my tires (which is something every other place Ive gone has done). I wish their bills were detailed so I could see exactly what was done in their 14- or 23- point service check. The only saving grace about this place is that John is fabulous. The times Ive gone in and had to be turned away, he tried to recommend other times I could come in, and his customer service is exceptional. BUT... I guess the girl at the desk is his daughter, and I have never experienced anything exceptional with her. She barely greets me when I walk in, shes not very pleasant. I went in for an oil change today in the morning and John said they were very busy but the afternoon was completely free, I booked a 1 PM which he said was perfect because his guys would be back from lunch then. I get there five minutes early, his daughter is there, and I go up to the desk and tell her my name, and without a smile or anything, all she says to me is "Saturn?" and then she sticks her hand out and says "Keys." Then it takes her fifteen minutes to even tell anyone I was there, and another fifteen minutes for someone to come get my car. At 1:30, I asked how much longer it would be since I had an appointment at 1 and John had told me the afternoon was very open. She said, "I dont know, I put the keys back there." She didnt go find out how much longer it would be or anything, she left me standing there waiting. When I was checking out, there was no apology for the wait or inconvenience. If you get John behind the desk, youre gonna have a great customer service experience, but frankly, no matter who is behind the desk, Ive gotten more value for the same price at other places.

I had moved into Plainsboro in March 2010 looking for a good mechanic coming in from NYC. Having had my fair share of bad mechanics, I came to get my muffler done. Just got married, and was tight on a budget and John, the owner at the time, gave me a great price to repair my dual exhaust - which had been falling apart and causing my O2 Sensor to kick in. Ive gone to them for broken studs, flushing , maintenance, oil changes - even after I went to Oil Well to get a synthetic oil change and it turns out when I went to Meineke to check out my engine light that popped, it was because Oil Well had not put any motor oil in the engine. I go to them for my oil changes now. Ive watched the staff work and Jim, who I have spoken to since I can only bring my car in to be worked on Saturdays, has been cordial professional and is definiltely good people. I recommend this mechanic because they wont nickel and dime you. I am surprised no one has posted on how good service they provide. Seriously, it is hard to find a good mechanic and most people hide them when they find them - I hope this review helps their business and that many other car owners would have the joy that I have of extending the life of my 2003 Honda Accord in a not so sure economy. Ive spoken with John and looked at some of the other reviews - I dont think they know what a bad mechanic is seriously - there are alot of bad mechanics and if you want to fork out an arm and leg to the dealers, I would recommend that. At the end for me is good service and good price - which I have gotten from them - even though John is no longer with them. Jim and staff have done nothing but the best by me.

This place is a waste of time and money! I had a tire pressure sensor light on and after they changed one sensor, the light would come back on again. When I returned back to them, they reset all the sensors but after driving the car for a few miles, the light came back on again. I returned to them for the third time, they said another sensor needs to be replaced. On the last time, when I talked to the little guy in the front desk he was giving attitude on the phone; not appreciating my patience and returning 3 times for the same problem. I decided to fix the car somewhere else. It turns out the all the sensors were fine and no replacement needed. It was on Sunday afternoon and fixed the same day, and saved unnecessary cost. Plus, a little over a year ago, they changed my front brakes on my Honda accord, and had to return back because it wasnt installed correctly. I don’t recommend this place for the terrible customer service and I dont trust what they use plus theyre not competent enough to take care of simple fix. Be aware you might pay for parts that dont need replacement.
