We had a fabulous experience with this company. When scheduled, I had originally planned for a later date, but had to reschedule. When I called, they were able to accommodate the new date and time and I was only able to give less than a week notice to the change. Ladies in the office were both professional, helpful, and as accommodating as possible. We had 3 guys, Eddie, Kas, and Anthony and they were all phenomenal! They were friendly, and chatted with us a bit as they were moving things. They were polite and respectful to my family and anyone who came to help and I was even called maam. They were compassionate. They told my daughter that they would take care of her stuff because she was very nervous and crying. My daughter packed a bucket of shells and it spilled all over the truck. He actually picked up as much as they could because he was worried that my 4 year old would realize that some shells were missing. They were knowledgeable. When Eddie was putting our bed back together, he noticed that the support beams were loosening up. He actually took time that I feel he didnt have to and fixed all the support and then showed us what to do to in the future. Their price was better than 2 other companies I called and there were no hidden charges at the end. I hope I dont have to move again but if I do, I wouldnt hesitate to call them again.

My overall experience was positive with recent move. Quoted a flat fee which was reasonable and included 5 wardrobe boxes. The front office staff is very friendly and responsive and the moving crew, headed by Troy was great. Hard workers, nice guys. Generally all went well and we were pleased. That said, I did notice some minor damage to the house moved out of (chipped wall sconce in hallway) and dents in front door after moving day. Not a big enough deal to register a complaint, but would have been nice for them to alert me to those issues as they occurred as otherwise they were very communicative throughout the day. Also, disposable moving materials were left behind to deal with at both residences (cardboard, tape and plastic wrap). Again, not a huge deal but I had enough to deal with in terms of trash and recycles already! Overall I would recommend and use again.

Used the moving guys today for our move from Aberdeen to Secaucus and we were very pleased. The three guys showed up promptly, were respectful and moved our items quickly despite the horrible rain. We found the pricing to be reasonable, the service to be great and the overall customer service to be wonderful as well. We were very pleased with the entire process. None of our belongings were damaged, there were no hidden charges and we were in and out of one place to the next in less than 5 hours. We highly recommend their services and will use them again in the future. Thank you moving guys for your professionalism, especially when you do not hear the best reviews for moving companies. You guys are definitely worth 5+ stars.

I have moved at least 7 or 8 times in my life, and this move was without a doubt the easiest, carefree move. I called on a Sunday night (after plans for a private move fell through). They called back on Monday morning at 8:00 AM and were able to move me Tuesday at 8:00 AM. Three strong, well spoken men showed up on time and complete the move within an hour of the phone estimated time! They were friendly, intelligent and professional. They obviously had a lot of experience, especially with large, heavy pieces. Nothing was broken, no walls were scuffed (newly painted), they put down protective cardboard and were extremely careful on my newly refinished wood floors. I would highly recommend this company.

I was very satisfied with The Moving Guys. When i first found out we had to move i panicked. I wasnt sure at all where to start. I had a gentleman come out and give me a free on site estimate. He was wonderful. He was able to tell me all of the packing material that i needed (which they also sold) and he gave me a very accurate estimate and told me the amount of men that i needed and how many trucks. On the day of my move, all of the movers were very polite and efficient. One of the men told me that all of the guys at this company had at least 5 years experience. I was very impressed with that! I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I have used TMG 2 x over the past 5 years and will definately use them again! I had a very fragile, expensive and antique oversized piece of furniture picked up in Queens and brought to my home in CNJ. I explained how special this item was to me and they were very caring to my needs. They were also very patient with my 94 year old aunt and their kindness can not be unrecognized. I know anyone using TMG during a life changing move will be very happy.

I used the Moving Guys on 5/28/13. I am very pleased with the crew that moved us. We moved from a single story into a Victorian 3rd floor walk up apartment. Those guys moved everything efficiently, quickly, and were very conscientious of my belongings and the area in which they were moving. The guys did an excellent job and it was raining! The move could not have gone any smoother, thank you so much for making a tough day easy!

We hired The Moving Guys to move one armoire from a second floor, lowered from a balcony, to the first floor! They werent available the day of our big move, so I had to hire another company. I called about 4 moving companies and several came out to look at the job. The Moving Guys were the only ones who would move it. They were all great guys, respectful of us and our furniture, and hard working. I would highly recommend them!

I had 4 moving companies give me written estimates and I decided to hire The Moving Guys. I used them twice and both times I was extremely pleased with what is offered. The guys wrapped the beds and couches, very professional and extremely nice even to help rearrange a few pieces of larger furniture and worked very hard to keep within the time frame. I highly recommend.

GREAT JOB!! My father moved to Long Island from NJ. Moving is stressful to begin with , and my Dad at 80 was REALLY stressed! The Moving Guys did a wonderful job. Quick, everything well wrapped, polite , just all round great company to deal with. Melissa in customer service provided first class customer service. I would hire them again IN A MINUTE!

The guys did a great job moving us recently. They were professional, friendly, offered good advice, saved us some money and didnt break anything! They put all the furniture back together and left our new home looking good. They even offered some tips on furniture placement that were very helpful. They were on time, never stopped going all day.
