I can highly recommend this storage place at 2860 Route 10 in MORRIS PLAINS. I visited the place twice and met with a young man. CHRIS is the property manager at this PUBLIC STORAGE place. Totally committed to provide the customer with a knowledgeable, polite and totally professional service! I have looked at 7 different storage places around my residence and this guy CHRIS is light years ahead of anybody else!! When I checked in some items into my storage hub on Sunday Feb 7, 2016 I encountered a young black lady. I kindly ask her whether she could vaccum clean one side of my 10x20. She immediately refused and showed an attitude! There were no other customers in sight and I told her it would only take 5 minutes. She gave me the run around. So when I dropped of more items today Feb11, 2016 I talked to the regional manager NICOLE. Nicole confirmed that this young girl never called her, as I was told she did. She lies. This woman would not work 2 days in my company! In my opinion, she needs to be fired because she single handedly can pull this operation down! Not only does she harm the company but she also hurts employees like CHRIS, that do their utmost to serve the clientele, and then they get stabbed in the back by "idiots" like this young girl. La unidad estaba limpia y me gysta que uno pone su cidico al entrar y salir. La attension es buena y le quire agradeser ala mucha supervusira qye ne dejo usar el basurero. I needed a storage unit relatively close to the apartment that my wife and I got in Morristown since our lease in Philly ends 5/31 and our lease in Morristown starts 6/1. Shaka called me shortly after I made my reservation online to confirm, and then when I showed up to move some things into the unit for the first time he was very helpful in making sure I had the right size unit to suit the needs of my wife and myself. Once upon a time I worked for a moving company, so Ive seen a LOT of storage units over the years. Public Storage in Morris Plains offered wide hallways, wide doorways, and plenty of dollies to assist with loading/unloading. Shaka was very professional and helpful when I first moved in. I would absolutely recommend Public Storage in Morris Plains, NJ to anyone in a heartbeat.

Arthur was quite professional and personable. We toured the facility and he made sure I knew all the various stipulations of owning my space. He also made sure that the size Id chosen was sufficient for my items by asking me the sorts of things that Id be keeping there, very politely. Everything was done in under an hour, and I had instant access to my space, as well as a phone number for him and all my account details viewable online. Basically, excellent space. They also run rent specials somewhat frequently, and I managed to nab a nice 50% off that stays as long as you have a continuous lease (much nicer than the "50% for 3 months" kind of junk youd see elsewhere). 5/5. Arthur is great. Space is easily accessible and is well-maintained (remarkably clean, actually).

Increased our rate significantly after 5 months. After 8 months, corporate unilaterally changed the language of our contract to basically hold their company harmless for any damage to person or property even as a result of their employees fraud, willful conduct, etc. Ive never seen such ridiculous legal language in a contract before. Nothing against the local storage place, but corporate is absolutely unethical. Want to learn more - -google "Consumer Reviews Public Storage". Youll get an eyeful of hundreds of complaints based on similar issues. Interestingly, my review on YELP was taken down. They must pay Yelp for advertising..

This place is right near my condo, so I came here to get boxes. Got everything I needed and took a look at a room for when Ill be moving. Clean facility, Ill be storing my goods here. Nice and clean and close by. [Edit] Since this review, Ive rented a space for my furniture and the experience was very pleasant. Arthur the manager made sure I was aware of everything the facility had to offer and that I understood the rental agreement. He answered all my questions and let me know he would be available to answer any others I might have.

Im looking to move in a few months and I came here to pick up some boxes to start packing. The manager there (Arthur) was very friendly and knowledgable and he gave me some good suggestions on how to pack up my items. He even saved me quite a lot of money when he let me know that I could get a discount by buying my boxes in bulk! After buying a bunch of boxes and bubble wrap, I wasnt sure it would all fit in my car, but Arthur helped make sure it all fit with room to spare. Ill definately be coming back when Im ready to move.

Needed to store entire household goods for nine months, so sought a large climate controlled unit. Manager very helpful in locating and securing the appropriate unit. Also had all supplies needed to pack the household goods, including picture and window boxes, tape and bubble wrap. Moving goods into the unit went smoothly with ready availability of carts and elevator. Manager took me to the unit in advance and showed me how to use access gate and appropriate locks. Feel comfortable with having household goods there.

I have used several public storage places over the years throughout the nation. I must say that SHAKA was easily one the best people (employees) that I have ever encountered during these stays. He was supremely cordial, knowledgeable and amazingly helpful. It was such a indescribably wonderful experience. Someone should certainly promote this young man. He exemplifies the true definition of customer service. The property as a whole was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this location.

Caitlin was the most helpful person Ive ever met. She helped bring the boxes that I bought to my car and helped load them in. In the rain! She was very knowledgeable about what I needed and guided me into the right size storage area to meet my needs. She was friendly and genuinely interested in my questions and concerns. The facility is clean and I love that its climate controlled. I would definitely recommend someone to public storage and send them to see Caitlin.

Very pleased with this location. I was in the other day for moving supplies and dealt with Mike who was so pleasant to interact with and funny! He made me smile during a very stressful transition to my new home. Mike answered all my questions about renting out a unit and showed me around the facility. I was actually surprised how clean it was and feel good about getting a unit there going forward. Thanks for everything and would highly recommend this place.
