I have now had a storage unit with Extra Space Storage in Lumberton, NJ on Rt. 38 for 2 years. When I first went looking for a storage facility I must have looked at 10 or more. The first impression of Extra Space above all the others was the cleanliness. Not only on the outside that everyone sees but the cleanliness of the buildings inside and out. The empty units were swept, neat and truely clean. Not at ALL like all the others. At the other facilities you could definately see their attitude toward cleanliness was more of a "swept under the rug" type of clean. It was impressive that if you opened any unit at any time (that was empty and not rented yet) it was clean. No dirt in the corners or along the sides where someone may not see it. In my opinion, I think if the staff takes that much care for units that not everyone sees then they will take thesame care for my belongings if they ever need to handle them as well as make sure they are safe and secure. After my first impression we went inside to inquire about renting. Immediately we were met with a warm welcome and a knowledgable and friendly staff. They helped us choose the appropriate size unit and what lok was best for keeping my belongings secure. Not once did i feel pressured or feel that i was being sold into something. The staff treated us as if they were helping out a friend or family. Over the passed 2 years, not once have i had any problems with the staff or the safty of my belongings. I never have to worry if my things are ok. At one time I had gone behind in my rent and the staff was friendly towards me and not combative about the money i owed but they talked with me and helped me get back on track with the least amount of stress possible. On a scale of 1-10 they are an 11. You never have to worry about which staff member you deal with either because they all are knowledgable, friendly and most of all they all care. Their customer service is amazing. They go above and beyond expectations! The price is definatly well worth what you receive in return. You can not just look at the size of the unit you are renting but you have to look at the service you get as well. The letters and phone calls they make to you are always pleasent and informative and well in time for you to contact them. I would highly recommend them to family, friends or anyone that is looking for a storage facility. Thanks to the whole Extra Space Storage staff for a great renting experience. You have a customer for life!!!!

My son and daughter-in-law and their family will be moving in with me and we needed a place that was close, had easy access, was secure to pack two households into. Since so much is going into the space we were looking for very very close as the childrens off season clothing will be in there along with many peices of furniture from both households. We were greeted at the door very courteously and made to feel very comfortable. The operation of a storage facility was explained and we signed up. We were then taken to see the unit where my daughter-in-law had several more questions that were answered quickly and accurately. We would recommend anyone to use Extra Space Storage!!!!All was clean, quiet, courteous, and very easy to work with. Sheryl

FANTASTIC STORAGE EXPERIENCE My experience with Extra Space Storage in Lumberton has been extraodinary! It starts at the top, with an excellent manager. He was able to explain everything to me, showed me my unit, and even helped me with some of my heavier objects. This has been my first time renting a storage unit and thanks to the great service, cleaniness of the unit, and an easy autopay system I will always be a return customer. I will also recommend this facility to all of my friends that need to rent a storage unit.

I had a choice of another storage unit across the street and "Extra Storage". Im sure pleased that I came to Extra Storage. The manager, Joe, was so helpful in everything needed to secure the lease. I drove around the storage area and can see why he was proud of his units and area. Clean and well kept. I didnt feel uncomfortable at all. My unit inside was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I saw him after using the storage and he asked if all was okay, nice to see someone interested in me.

I rented a storage space here, today. I made a reservation for what I thought we wanted before I left for work this morning. We went to the facility after work and met with Joe. Joe was very friendly, helpful, and informative. He helped us decide that we would be better served with a climate controlled unit for the books were storing. Joe answered all our questions, and we were in and out in less than 30 mins. All and all, a great experience so far!

Have had my "junk" stored at Extra Space for over 4 years (was supposed to be 4 months) and have called the office several times. Everyone there is great and very helpful friendly and professional. My "Go to Guy" is always Joe! Thanks front office!!!!

I recommend extra storage space to ANYONE needing storage for ANYTHING. Their facilities are clean, sufficient and protected. Their rates are excellent and the customer service is beyond amazing! Im comfortable leaving my possessions there!
