I Googled public Storage when after 38 yrs of marriage I was going through a divorce and needed a safe place yo keep my things until I can find a place to live. The first thing that caught my eye was The ad saying First Month $1 Rent, then I saw the size of the units and the price per month and I was sold!!! From my. 1st call inquiring how to go about the process to meeting the staff,at Rockawsy, I have had a Positive, Friendly, Courteous, Helpful Experience!!!! I am Very, Very, Happy I chose Rockawsy Public Storage and Recommend them Highly!!!! Thank You All for Making a Hard Situation for me into A Very Pleasant time everytime I come into the office Thanks you All and Eric who is who I have had the pleasure of meeting my last several visits here for being soooo nice and helpful!!! Eric, the property manager, is extremely professional and pleasant. The unit prices are great and the property is clean and easy to access. When I moved here I thought that because I decided to use the cheapest facility in the area that Id be sacrificing professionalism for price. I was wrong. Eric is efficient and had us moved in within ten minutes. I was dreading having to rent a locker but they really keeps things clean and there are carts available to help move your items. I highly recommend if you need a place to store your items, you go here. You wont be disappointed. You cant put a price on professionalism.

Ed and Eric were very helpful to show me the options in the storage site. Eric asked me all the relevant questions while visiting the site to be sure I could make the best choice. He explained clearly the procedure to get in and out and I appreciate his humor. Ed went trough the administration step by step, asking for all the information so that my 3 kids would have access to the space without any problem. He explained all the points that make the place very safe, and made me practice the code input to be sure I wouldn t have any problem. Great service Thank you Claire

Had a horrible Experience with Customer Service and the District Manager in the Rockaway, NJ location. Checked-out of my unit before the 5th of the month after paying my rent on the 1st. Was promised a refund at the facility and then waited the 4-6 weeks for the check that never came, Called Customer Service who said the District Manager, Brian, could help me. Brian says No Refund is allowed, I just should have not paid for the month. They lie to your face and over the phone. Dont deal with them. They are dishonest and not trustworthy. Will never do business with them again.

Before my move to South Carolina, I had a storage unit at the Rockaway New Jersey location at 282 Rt 46 East. I would recommend this storage facility. The units are well kept and easy to get to, and when I was ready to make the move, Ed was very helpful. His willingness and ability to answer all of my questions, and offer knowledgeable advice about renting a truck and the best way to pack it efficiently and safely made me feel confident and I was able to make my move easily and efficiently. His help was invaluable to me!!! Thank you Ed, and Public Storage!

Eric and Cristian were wonderful in showing me around the facility and preparing me to move in. It was a day after the snow storm both of these guys were available early to help me on my first day. The plows were already on-site making for a clean move-in day. The paper work was significant but Eric and Cristian made it easy with highlights and friendly attention to detail. I dont have allot of experience with storage and this was easy and made me feel like my unit was secure.

Excellent facility. Weve been long-term renters. Site is always clean, well maintained - especially in winter. Bathroom is clean and stocked with necessities. No litter or garbage. Office staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Especially Eric. He is always available to answer questions and we frequently see him walking the property to make sure all is well. I have and will continue to recommend this site to people who are seeking storage space.

Excellent facility!! Ive had a unit there for several years and never had a problem. The staff have are wonderful and helpful!!!! The area around the buildings are clear of clutter and never had a problem with parking at an entrance nearest my unit. I highly recommend this facility to individuals and businesses looking for additional storage. My office also had a unit there for storing files and documents. We never had a problem with moisture.

I had called several storage companies trying to find a parking space for my work trailer but this public storage location was the only one to follow up with my request. Dawn was very helpful throughout the entire process. A month after parking my trailer she called me and told me a new space had opened up at a slightly less expensive rate which I truly appreciate. I highly recommend if you are considering using this facility, ask for Dawn

This storage facility is top notch. Clean, well lit, and well managed are the items that you will notice right away. What you will not notice until later in your rental experience is how far the staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is meeting your expectations. Random hellos, courtesy phone calls, and even immediate assistance with simple problems go a long way in my book. You could not pick a better place to do business.

ive been at this facility for over two years. why would i stay here if it wasnt great? The managers ive dealt with were superb and helped me every time. im a trucker so Im not usually around. but eric always called me if there were any issues, or if things might be late... the managers actually care! even today, spencer helped me set up automatic payment so i wont even have to worry about it anymore! great job, public storage.
