On December the 13th of 2009 a Sunday morning I had to deliver my trailer to an U-Haul location. I tried several locations near and in Bordentown area but from no avail the offices were closed and I did not want to leave the trailer with out conformation of delivery. I also went to several Trenton locations but I could not get in the storage facility. Being stressed because of time restraint and the weather I arrived to the Brunswick Ave location in Trenton NJ. I entered the store with a great greeting by the two employees. The ladies assured me it was okay to leave the trailer with the store. Ms. Tiffany Chew and Ms. Felicita Gee worked diligently to make sure I would not get billed for the different location drop off. During all the chaos that day, my trailer adapter was left in the parking area. I called the store and returned to look for the adapter. In the rain they helped me looked for the adapter. I would like the U-Haul Company to know these two ladies went beyond the call of duty! This was a great welcome to know a costumer can receive exemplary and genuine service. Im only giving a star because the truck was available as promised. The location was not easy to get to from main roads, and the a/c gave out for a while, but then revived itself. But when I returned the truck with no less than a gallon short of what I picked it up with, (the needle was very slightly below ½ a tank) the clerk lied and stated it was 3 gallons short! (3/8 of a tank) No way was this true! I was charged $11.25 extra for fuel! I should have followed him looking over his shoulder while he did his reading. The manager called 2 days later and was no help whatsoever, but tried to offer me a discount for the next rental or coupons. Why would anyone do business again with them after being ripped off? I sure wont!!!!!

Excellent, excellent service. Bar none, the best attitude and customer service I have received at a U-Haul. Matthew is a testament to the companys values and service oriented approach. He was friendly, helped me hook up before I had even asked and got my paperwork in just a few minutes. Then, to top it all off, he was at work at least 45 minutes early the next day (even before the store opened!) and helped me unhook and got my receipt, again, in just minutes. Thank you very much!

My husband and I rented a U-box, while our confirmation email listed one set price, after packing up box and waiting for delivery, u-haul decided to charge us another 106 that was not listed anywhere in our communication with them. Called to dispute charges and keep getting the run around. Will be speaking to corporate about this issue. Use another moving company.... unless you want to be hit with unexpected hidden fees.

The company is a rip off. They make you believe they are providing you with the best rates, but you never feel the savings. The workers are absolutely rude and inattentive. One guy started my transaction and didnt know how to work the system..almost charged me an arm and two legs. The store manager and another customer arguing...Just plain ghetto and unprofessional

Employees arrived twenty minutes late to open shop, by which time maybe fifteen people were waiting outside (since rentals arent reservations, and its first-come-first-served). Luckily, I was third in line and they still had the truck I had signed up for, as well as a supply of extra boxes.

The place closes at 7:00PM and I arrived at around 7:30PM. The manager (Felicita?) was still there and opened her whole system back up to rent me a truck. Very friendly. The whole use of the truck came to about $50 which is very reasonable.
