I agree with the posts below. The gentleman I dealt with was extremely dishonest. I caught him in several lies, contradictions, exaggerations, etc. He claimed to have begun work on the car, and when we showed up it was sitting in the lot untouched. He asked me stupid questions that would have known the answer to if he had even glanced at the car. He charged me double the market rate for my services. He told me I needed a new distributor cap and brakes, but that everything else was fine; later he told me they replaced the whole distributor along with the fuel injector and spark plugs. I left several voicemails and he lied and said that their office does not have voicemail capability "because it is a business." Not only did these people lie, but they insulted my intelligence by doing so in a reckless fashion. It was like they didnt even care if I caught them or not. They give mechanics a bad name and crooks an even worse name. I went there because Im not from the area and they were the only knuckleheads open...if you have the option: STAY AWAY! Pay the extra money to have it towed a little farther...you will wind up saving hundreds!

I went to this Midas in late 2010 for an oil change and I did not have a positive experience. I say skip this Midas and the one on Route 18. They are owned by the same person and both shops have HORRIBLE customer service. I called two days ahead for an appointment, arrived early for my appointment and waited for over an hour. I do understand that things happen and other people have services done but a large chunk of my waiting time my car was sitting in their lot :( I also could see that this location does the bare minimum in terms of customer service and being courteous. I was so glad that I had a coupon! If I would have paid the full price for the service I received I would have been really mad.

Terrible service with condescending attitudes and no desire to serve customers. Scheduled an appointment, but when I showed up attendant tried to claim they were booked solid for three days and blamed "the system" for dropping my reservation. I stayed until they could "squeeze me in" but within 15 minutes they had my car in the service bay. Minutes later they called me out to complain that there was no oil in my car and it was making a noise, so they wouldnt change my oil. I asked why and they responded they couldnt work on "a car like that."

Great customer service and fast work. I called to inquire about the cost of an oil change and when I arrived in shop 15 mins later they recognized me from the phone call. Bery friendly amd honest sales associates. They recommended future repairs and didnt force me to get repairs done like other auto mechanics have done. Im very pleased with the service, I had my oil change in 30 mins on a Saturday afternoon.

I came here the first time, because its close to were I live. I needed work done to my car, and they told me everthing that was wrong with it. One by one I came back and fixed each probleme that wasnt a simple fix. I like the service, and the managers a good guy. He gave me a deal and a discount every time. I guess its just how you deal and talk and treat people, too get the best results.

wouldnt recommend this midas to anyone, my fiance had a caliper that needed to be fix so we brought it there, not even a year later started having issues again so we brought it somewhere else and come to find out they never replaced the caliper like they said they did, so in the end my fiance ended up paying for it and getting screwed over, worst place ever

Went there at around 4:40pm on a Saturday and the guy simply refused a simple oil change stating that they close at 5PM!! A good 20mins were still on the clock. When i pointed it out, he just said "You should have called ahead of time buddy" ....guess he didnt want my business then (and forever)..condescending attitude. Also, refused to honor a coupon....

Never courteous to anyone, any time Ive gone in for an oil change its been a long wait with nasty remarks. And the few times Ive called for estimates I get the typical sales pitch "we cant discuss anything over the phone, Im not sure if we do that, I cant tell you if we provide those services until youre here, Ill have to see it once its on the lift."

I dont recommend this place for any kind of service, I had a coupon for oil change and tire rotation, at end of service he charge me more than I have to pay and didnt take my coupon, they are not honest people , they like to generate any type of service even your car doesnt need to collect money. just stay away from them, save your self a headache.

Last week, went there to replace front wheel axle. They did a good job in that and suggested to change power steering fluid. The total was 500$. After that the fluid started leaking and it completely drained off in a week, which made the steering stuck. Now they are asking another 500$ to replace the power fluid pipes.

I came here twice and had really good service.. I came today for a oil change and they gave me a update on what my car needs to be done. The guy when you first walk in is extremely nice and cute. I would recommend people to come here but make sure you have money in your pocket $$ lol..

Very frustrated. How can you close the store and not call your customer to pick up the car if you arent finished. I spent the last 45 minutes calling to see whats going on. I need my car to go to work by 8:30am. Thats not professional at all.

Spell out what want done, they did not do the tire rotation included in oil change as did not tell them about coupon. Also sold battery service but still saw acid burn residue on the terminals after service.

They installed my catalytic converter with no problems. Free wifi is great if you plan on waiting for a bit. The mechanic acted professionally.
