A waste of time. I brought my laptop, which was not charging, to the Grand Concourse location on February 3rd. Im a graduate student and a teacher, so I needed it to be working in order to continue my own work and to create the lectures, powerpoints, and other items for my students. Everything was fine in the beginning - the issue was the charger, so I paid Computer Settings 50 dollars to order a new, working charger. Then, I did not hear from them for ELEVEN days. I called, wondering why no one from their store had been in touch with me, either via email or phone, to update me on the situation. They were apologetic, claiming a delay in delivery. I was fed up and, like I said, needed a functioning laptop in order to do my job, so I ordered a functional replacement charger on Amazon for five dollars cheaper, which was delivered in two days. It has now been TWENTY days since I gave this location money, and since the order for the charger was ostensibly placed, and Computer Settings has provided absolutely NO SERVICE to me. I called this morning to ask for my fifty dollars back, as they have not done anything but waste my time and take my money, only to be given the runaround - "I need to talk to the manager, well call you back", but never doing it, "we have the charger, come get it" and so on. When I called again, I was finally given my refund.

Taking three stars from 5 because: 1) I brought my laptop to change the back cover and got the initial price ($130) and wait time with a promise to call and get a better estimate of how long I have to wait. Got no call for about 2 days and then called them back. 2) After I called them I got a new estimate which is one week longer plus additional $30. I cant wait so long and I need it done ASAP. Asked if I can pick it up next day. They said OK. Great. 3) Come next day - they dont have my laptop. Still at their warehouse. Told me to come next day. Results: didnt have my laptop for about 5 days. Went to the place 3 times. Nothing was fixed (because I cancelled their order after they told me it will take x2 more time and extra money). Wasted 3 hours and about $25 to get there just for nothing (when they told me they dont have my laptop yet). People who work there are nice, but they need to be more personal and remember what they say to their clients. Wont come back.

Amazing technology repair shop. Eric was the one taking care of the whole process of my laptop shutting off at random, making it unusable. I came across this shop and it had nothing, but positive reviews and great prices. I took the laptop in to the shop and from the moment I explained to Eric the issue I was having with the laptop, he showed nothing but professionalism, which is something that I definitely look for in quality customer service. He clearly explained to me why the issue was occurring and what the plan was moving forward. He called me the day after and explained every procedure that he was going to take to ensure that my laptop was up and running again. I received my laptop about a week after and its better than ever. Running smoothly and efficiently. I would most definitely recommend this place if you have any issues with your phone, laptop, gaming console, anything related to technology, definitely take a look at Computer Settings, Inc.

Excellent and friendly technical support service. They are willing and helpful into fixing a technical problem. Also they fix your problem in one day. Which is pretty awesome. However, just keep in mind everyones techinical problem is different so it might not be one day for everyone. But overall I went into fix my screen on my Iphone 5c, which happens to be a very recent old version of Iphones and it totally works way better than the original when they fixed it. I would most definitely recommend for people to go to them. I also noticed they provide internet service for people who might not have. Which is good for those who are in need of it for a quick moment.

Definitivamente uno de lo mejores servicios en tecnología en New York. Lo digo porque lleve un disco duro portátil, en donde tenía mi nueva película y todo el material que habíamos rodado, pensé que se había perdido todo pero en esta tienda me salvaron todo el material. These guys are just great! I broke my Lenovo 2 11" laptop and had to have it replaced, it took forever to find a replacement because its a hard piece to find (since its a touchscreen). They not only did their homework to find the best possible fit but made sure that it worked as well as before. I had to leave the Country for vacation and wasnt able to pay everything off, and they held on to it way after it was due for pick up out of courtesy and never rushed me. Absolutely respectful and willing to help! Ill be bringing my computer back if anything.

I own a macbook pro, that had a faulty keyboard due to water leak @the apple store they where charging me $210 to replace my keyboard due to the fact that my warranty was expired, I decided to try the nearest local shop I had around (compusettings) so I explained the situation and the cause and they me it would be $30 deposit for diagnostic of the problem, and if everything was ok then I would only have to pay for the part, with the $30 discounted price for the part $120 and had my mac fix within a week. : D thank you! Guys

I dont know much about computers, but I know honest people when i meet them, they fixed my laptop when I did not have no power, I went to best buy and they wanted to charge me $75 dollars for a diagnostic and thats not even a deposit towards the job that needed to be performed. When I went to compusettings they were very clear in explaining to me what was going on with my computer and they charge $30 dollars for the diagnostic that also applied towards the repair that needed to be done. These guys were the absolute sweetest. I broke my computer screen and expressed that I was hoping to get it repaired that day because I wouldnt be able to come back out to the Bronx until next weekend - given their business hours. They fixed it within a few hours and even cleaned up my computer a bit (physically and internally). They answered all of my questions and were very knowledgeable about their industry. I will definitely come back if I have any other technology issues. Thank you Jesus and Ricky!

Great service, Something that draws your attention TO COME BACK!! , very friendly , good prices, They maintain you inform of any little step that has been going on with computer,phone etc, responsible , Honest they have word theres many place we go and they tell us a date and then when we come back in one week they tell us its not ready and it gets to a month and they dont have your component ready In compusettings that would not happen ! (always deliver All About time!).
