We took a unit here in a hurry, after a life event. The rate was pricey at first, but the location is excellent, and we had no reason to look elsewhere. We saw another tenant have his possessions chewed up by mice, but we were told its a problem at all storage units, and they enforce no food rules, and encourage insurance. The only time I heard from them was the constant rate increases. In the last two months, the place has gotten worse. The front door stopped locking- try it now if you like. Ill wait. The three or four carts to haul your belongings around have been gone for weeks. The management has been non responsive. Even the phone outside rings to a disconnected number. There are better options to store your stuff. This one aint worth it. Update: The carts are back, the lock is still broken, and my reservation for a truck that I saw someone write in the notebook is gone. The customer service skills of everyone Ive had dealt with have not been up to snuff.

I have been with Extra Space Storage for about 1 1/2 yrs and I have always found the Plainview location easy to use, reasonable and accommodating. They always have dollies available whenever I needed to transport my things and the facility itself is very clean. I have always found the manager (Gerard) always answered my questions whenever I called or called me back in a reasonable amount of time and is always pleasant and courteous. I actually went to another storage company and came back to Extra Space Storage because this company was so much easier to work with then their competitors.

I just recently started with the Plainview location and I am very pleased. The staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions. It was nice to be able to utilize the website to search for a space and secure one online. There has always been an excess of carts to use every time I have been there which was nice! I would recommend this location to anyone. 7/2/14 - Just an update - went in last weekend to get an additional storage unit for all of my stuff. Courteous and friendly staff with a smile!! :D

I have found this facility to be very convenient to major roadways. I park my RV for the winter and when not in use. I find that this facility has security cameras located throughout the property. The gate access is easy and I can usually speak with the manager when needed. In the past I have found that the store-front is well stocked and the people are friendly.

Blown away by Extra Space Storages customer service and facilities. Ive spent years at u-haul, public storage, etc. and it doesnt compare - especially unbeatable prices. Ask for Fara, she was awesome, called me seconds after I submitted the quote online and got me into the unit that worked for me within the hour

After being with a major competitor for many years I switched to Extra Space Storage which was cheaper and more convenient to my location. The space provides easy access to get into the location with good availability of carts and pleasant staff.

This place is great so far. The manager was very friendly and accommodating, and helped me last minute to secure a unit. The facilities are clean, well lit and safe. Plus the price is very reasonable. No complaints!
